Haier stopped the in home service process based on the consumers issue with sharing of her contact informationAs stated previously Haier does not have direct service employees all of our in home service done by contracted local service companiesIn order to arrange in home service Haier HAS to share our consumers contact information with the local service company so a mutually acceptable appointment can be determinedThat being said Haier will restart the in home service process to arrange a visit to the consumer's homeWith that in mind it is highly recommended that the consumer directly reach out to the local service company to avoid further confusion about the appointment

Our Executive Office spoke with Mr*** on Friday July 31, to discuss an accommodation for the damage to his roof We are waiting for Mr*** to supply us with receipts for the air conditioning unit so we can discuss a resolution for the air conditioning unit as well

The washing machine and dryer were purchased by the previous owner of the home The one year warranty that came with each unit is not transferable The warranty for both units is no longer valid The executive office will contact *** *** and arrange for a one time courtesy
repair to be completed at no cost to her

*** *** accepted that we will replace the unit through *** This was accepted on 6/3/

Haier has offered $to buy the unit from the consumer the amount $was determined by the average new purchase of similar products by other manuafacturersConsidering this is a year old unit we feel this is a generous offerTo date the customer has not accepted this offer

I am rejecting this response because:
On the *** *** website, it clearly states the Manufacturer's warranty year parts and labor and years compressor (attached in picture as print screen)This is directly against what the manufacturer is sayingThey didn't include a loophole or asterisk, for commercial productsAlso, *** *** is a wholesale store, selling wholesale goodsTherefore that fridge and all other goods are for wholesale and the warranty stated is therefore for wholesale, which is a year long, NOT 90- daysAlso attached are complaints of this product not working (NOT holding the correct temperature)Also attached the product description from *** *** and it states on website any questions or concerns are to go to manufacturer. I also have a reference number from haier - #*** when I called in to complainAlso The sent out a tech, the tech found nothing inherently wrong with it, just that it wouldn't hold temperatureHe called the Haier company and they told him the same "day story" that isnt following the website and their description. Also, the 3rd Haier employee I spoke to said they are at no fault for their product because of their limited warrranty, that isnt stated anywhere at all. This issue is regarding that fact that they knowingly are selling faulty products and are doing nothing about it to recify the situationThis product is sold in wholesale store for wholesalers, ie commercial use, therefore if someone possibly were to get sick because the fridge didnt hold the correct temperature, this would be the fault of the Haier company knowingly selling and not recifying the fridge(for example, like a recall) etcThank you

Haier is denying warranty coverage as the unit was operated with the shipping bolts installedThe shipping bolts are designed to support the drum during transportation and need to be removed after installationThis infpmation is provided in the operating instructions as well as on the unit itself
Operating the unit with the bolts installed caused the drum to be damagedAdditionally the customer has
used profanity and inappropriate language several
of the posts made on the Haier *** page, some of the
post have been hidden others have been deleted due to their content

Haier will be reaching out to the Consumer to arrange service and food loss accomodation

Haier will be offering a refund upon receipt of proof of purchase documents Reference Number ***

I will contact *** *** today to discuss resolution options for his complaint

We are asking for the receipt for the used unit that was installed

Based on the notes for the customer's contact yesterday it does not state they were told it would be covered.  If the service center finds that the issue is caused because the unit is located in the garage the customer would be responsible for the repair.  If this is not the reason the service center will submit a claim for the service.

I am rejecting this response because:
I appreciate the offer but I do not want the tv.  It is defective.  I want to return it for a refund. Please see my original requests. [redacted] could possibly refund but I would like you to pay shipping.  If [redacted] refuses refund I would like you to refund.   Haier sold 20 refurbished tv's on [redacted] during that sale.  Thank you.
