I am rejecting this response because:I wanted to email and let you know that my husband and I deny the response from Haier regarding our dryer fire.I want to be clear that we did not deny an inspection of the dryer as Haier stated in their response. We have asked them several times to remove that statement from our claim file.  They sent a service person here to do an inspection. He could not schedule us until November 9th (although their response says the 10th).  The service person from ** [redacted] came to our house, he did not bring any tools with him, just a camera. He confirmed the dryer had caught fire, took some pictures of the dryer and looked at our utility room. Then he left without doing an inspection.  I have been trying to find someone to do an inspection as I do not want this to happen to someone else. Plus I'd like to get the dryer out of my garage, but I am waiting for someone to tell me that it's alright to get rid of it, especially since I will have a houseful of people here on the 19th. As far as our utility room being "cleaned and repaired", the service guy scheduled his visit a week after the fire. I'm not sure if they understand that the smell of burnt plastic was too strong to live with for a week and we did not have any instruction to hold off on any repairs, so of course we did what we could to eliminate the odor. Lastly, I should mention that after I posted some pictures on Haier's facebook page, Haier contacted us and offered us $300. We felt that it was not a fair offer after requesting we send them pictures and receipts that total close to $2000. So we counter offered  $2000.  Haier then came back with a $400 offer. We explained that the damages were roughly $800 if you subtracted the cost of the replacement dryer we bought. Haier will contact this customer directly to assist in troubleshooting the issue , However I can say we have no record of any attempt by this person to contact Haier directly, I understand a reluctance to incur toll charges but truth be told Haier America offers toll free support, a free chat option...

as well as a free email service as well. I am at a loss why none of these were attempted

The air conditioner unit was purchased July 10, 2013.  It comes with a one year warranty.  [redacted] did not contact Haier until June 5, 2014 and stated she was having a problem with the unit.  [redacted] did contact us with in the time frame the warranty was active and the unit...

was not serviced.  We have left a voice message for [redacted] advising we are approving an exchange of the unit.

There is a major difference in the cooling power of a 12000 BTU room AC compared to a 5000 BTU unit, Haier feels the 5000 BTU unit is working properly but not designed to cool larger spaces. However, Haier will provide a good faith refund to maintain customer satisfaction contingent on receipt of...

This product is being used in a commericial application, the commercial warranty for Haier Products is 90 days. Thsi information has been confirmed by the service center making the repair. Page 9 of the owners manual states " Commercial or Rental Use warranty 90 days for labor 90 days for parts No...

other warranty applies".

Haier has already arranged replacement through the dealer as the consumer notated. We appreciate the feedback and candid commentary on our performance. It is information like this that lets us know we need to improve.

I am rejecting this response because: I did supply you with all receipts. It was confirmed that Haier America did receive them. This is why I'm not happy. I've been told that they didn't receive pictures when it was confirmed that they did, same with receipts. Go back and listen to your recorded conversations with me and my wife. You have all the information. It's been too long for this to continue.

I received the new dehumidifier on September 19, 2015.  Haier could save time and money for both parties if they they would just honor the warranty that comes with their productRegards,

The warranty on this unit is for 10 years parts only.  [redacted] can choose a service center of his choice.  They will charge him for the labor and we will provide the service center with the required part/s free of charge.

[redacted] did send us the proof of purchase but did not send the serial number tag as instructed on the paperwork he received.  The serial number tag is needed for us to complete the exchange or the refund that [redacted] is requesting.

broken ac unit. So now I am forced to buy a new 5 ton ac unit and handler to make it through this extreme summer heat. I would be willing to settle for $3000 dollars or if you would like to over night me a new 5 ton unit along with a new air handler.
