Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] has been communicative and helpful, and the XPS was sent to the Dell Repair Depot and was returned on Friday with a note that said the logic board had been replacedYet, while loading software on the computer last night, it continually exhibited the same issues that occurred before it was sent to the Dell Repair DepotThis computer was bought on June 17, and has continued to be unreliable due to screen freezes, blue screens, screen changing colors, and wifi coverage stopping resulting in a computer freeze often happening several times a dayThe issue of having a broken computer which exhibited these problems from the beginning and has not been fixed is still currentIt is not a fair business practice to sale a broken machine, to not fix it, and to provide a premium warranty for an extra $which promises to fix the computer with less delays and still not fix it after months of almost weekly remote sessions from IndiaI have wasted well over hours in watching these remote sessions and reloading Windows and all my files twiceThe computer is as broken now as it was when I bought it Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I spoke to the sheriff's department tonight and was told that what Dell is doing in this case is criminalHe advised me to file a civil criminal case against DellJust because Dell computers is a big company, does not give them the right to write their own rulesWhen you take money for replacing a computer that is not your property, it is stealingPlain and simpleDell has now been paid for my computer times - one time from [redacted] whom I purchased my computer and once by [redacted] to replace itThe second compensation was to replace my computer yet Dell is keeping it and refusing to give it to me so I can replace my computerThey make out like bandits on this situation, they get paid twice and I get a broken computerThat is not right!! I don't want a used computer with no warranty! It is easy for you to stand behind email and a phone center in India and tell customers "No" forcing them into situations that only benefit Dell and are not fair to your customers! Just because you are telling me I can't get my money, doesn't excuse the fact that Dell is acting in a criminal manner, by stealing my money from meYou sit there in your big offices treating customers poorly vsdoing what is right in each situation hoping that the situation will just go away and be done with the situationYou know if you give me a refurbished computer and it breaks you don't have to do anything about it because you wont offer me a warranty on itSo if I get a lemon, you know you will get more money from me to fix yet another computerThat works out well for Dell and continues to work out poorly for me I don't know how a company like Dell maintains a A+ rating with the Revdex.com when you have a 97% Negative rating and 2% neutral ratingI wish I would have done my research before I made my purchase Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Dear Revdex.com: Dell’s Customer Strategy is to lie and confuse Take the form letter they sent you signed by the omnipresent and anonymous “Advanced Resolution Team” I received a number of form letters two examples below After enough of these it becomes a waste of time to call themWhy spend an hour to speak once again with Haran who is going to say the same thing Only once did he vary He admitted he was in India and that my computer was outsourced for diagnosis and possible repair He would not tell me where it was sent or the name of the person doing the work – how do I research the quality of the person trying to repair my laptop? Whenever the Service Representative gets stumped he refers you to the Advanced Resolution Group which acts as a star chamber Who wrote the letter for the ARG? Is anyone else offended by the short, abrupt, message to a company with the stature of the BBC? Notice they never even mention Kara [redacted] who serviced as their point person on the case It is, I believe DELL does not want anyone to speak with any one specific individual The company tries to have airtight secrecy keeping information from even the customers Their phone service and form letters are an attempt to create the illusion that they are helping, when they are not Surely DELL is not happy with [redacted] who told me he was in India, that the computer was examined there, that it was outsourced, and that I would have to pay $as the warranty had been voided as the result of a spill I’ve addressed the spill at length It is not mine and the computer was in the hands of FED EX (who I like) and DELL for a substantial period of time If there is a spill I insist it happened on their watch For all I know a tech knocked over a Diet Coke while working on the laptop and his first instinct was not “oops, look what I did.” Not in India, not with the poverty and lack of employmentI believe [redacted] that my laptop and all things associated happened in India.Because of DELL’s confuse and conquer approach things are a little hard to see if you don’t look carefully Originally I was tolf my laptop was in Canada, then in the USA, and then India – all indicators say India was its final destination Truth is DELL could make anything appear to have been shipped from anywhere Send the laptop to Canada or any new chosen point of origin, repackage, relabel and Voila India’s computer has originated from DELLCanada Sounds to me like mail fraud, but I’m sure DELL’s attorney’s have been over it at length.Don’t advanced resolution teams have Chairs or team leaders? Why wasn’t the pro forma letter sent to the BBC signed by that person with a phone number?
