[redacted] came today to service my air conditioner. It was my annual air conditioner check. He was very pleasant and gave me the option of repairing my hard start relay on my AC today or waiting. It was starting to leak. He showed me the part and the leaking. I had him replace it of course as I want my air conditioner to be ready when I need it. The point is that he was not pushy, just informative. He also replaced the UV light bulb and did a complete inspection of my system including climbing up in the attic which had to be over 120 degrees. A very nice young man and I believe he does a very good job at keeping my AC running well.

[redacted], technician was arrived right on time. He was very polite and clean. [redacted] changed our furnace filter and discussed a problem and remedied the situation in a timely manner and professional manner. I would recommend him without hesitation!

[redacted]. and [redacted] came to remove our old furnace and install a new one. They were here on time (actually 10 minutes early) and were ready to work as soon as they evaluated the worksite and got their equipment ready. The removal and installation took less than 2 hours and these two guys were very professional in their job performance. Excellent attitude, Excellent professionalism and Excellent workmanship.

ASI installed my air conditioning unit on the roof of my house a few years ago. Last summer they quoted me for a second unit on my house also. Now when they came out they refused to work on it because they said they were scared to go up on the roof. Apparently the roof is too high off the ground and it's only a two story house. The supervisor told me to use another company with a bigger ladder. Wimps!

As part of a routine maintenance check, Jay did a great job and was straightforward with us about the status of our HVAC system and its potential needs. No hard sell, but reasonable recommendations in order to extend the life of our system and keep it in good running order.

ASI Heating & Air technician "[redacted] B." Was both professional and friendly. He solved my air unit problem, added a necessary part to my main blower, and sold me on a new UV air filtration unit. It was more than I expected to do, but I'm glad I purchased it. [redacted] was extremely knowledgeable and took a lot of time explaining my system to me. Thanks to [redacted], I now have a much greater understanding of my air conditioning system.

[redacted]. was very polite, and concerned about our home. He explained the situation very well, and completed the work very timely. He was very professional.

Our long positive relationship with ASI Hastings was reinforced this morning with the service we received from their employee, Jason B. He was on time....very helpful...left us feeling that we were well taken care of! [redacted] & [redacted]

We have been very satisfied with the installation of a gas furnace by ASI and with the recent routine maintenance check-up by [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] came as scheduled, was professional, courteous, and answered questions well.

As in past, experiences with ASI, Bill delivered superior courtesy and service, on time and with the appropriate advice and supplies to fill our needs.

[redacted] came out to my house at 10:00 pm at night and fixed a minor issue with my new furnace. He was helpful and provided excellent service even though he drove a long way and it was late at night. I hope J[redacted]'s boss sees this and gives him a "thank-you for a job well done". And I thank J[redacted] also. J[redacted] deserves 5 stars.

[redacted] did service on our heater and air conditioner and was here on time and very professional doing his job. I would recommend him to all our family and friends.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In regards to the Tree's that were damaged, they were both damaged by an ASI employee, it was their first technician on the job ([redacted]).  We were never contacted by the suppliers delivery driver as they did not damage the trees. The issue was never addressed by any company.
In June 2013, we spoke with [redacted] GM directly about the Mildew smell coming from the bedroom and furnace closet.  We let her know we were going to look into it and if she could help us with a company that would come out and analyze the issue.  We spoke with [redacted] a flooring inspector and Anderson flooring the manufacture of our flooring to eliminate all possibilities before determining the problem.  We let [redacted] know we would be out of the state and would call her when we returned.
Mr. [redacted] upon visiting our home stated that if there was any mold present that he would do everything possible to remediate it and get us back to normal, he brought out Gold Coast to do air testing and cavity inspections and they did not cut into any drywall or flooring nor did they do any air testing. I was the one that removed the wall-base previously so that they could see the black mold spores that were present.  They viewed the area and confidently guaranteed that there was no mold present.  He also said that he would not replace our flooring at all, and that is where he stood.  We attempted to request our Money back and full reimbursement but insisted that he would not replace our floor.
They finally offered to replace our flooring if we signed a waiver that released Liability (See ASI Liability Release) for anything their installation caused or may have caused. Knowing that there was an issue at our home they coerced us into signing the letter. We signed the letter but refused to endorse the check.  They were trying to get out of the problem which was mold remediation.
The insurance company they used offered us a settlement, the numbers are wrong.  For instance the flooring total they offered us was only to cover the cost of the wood floor, not the labor to install it, the removal and disposal of the existing floor, the epoxy sealer for moisture barrier, the adhesive to glue the floor back down was all omitted from their proposal.  The drywall repair was not to par either as I had a Contractor come it to give us pricing, (GS Construction). There are a lot of items that are not included in the restoration or remediation that need to be accounted for; Soundboard replacement, closet system R&R, Rental of Dehumidifier, Negative Air Machine rental, ET&T Invoice, Clean Air Certificate of clearance.
I have attached the estimates I have received to restore our home back to where it was.
We have not abated the mold because we can not agree on the totals with ASI and [redacted], We need to pull the Furnace out of the closet so that a remediation company can abate the mold.  However, [redacted] has said:
[redacted],

1.       I
will not pay the contingency fee under any circumstance, and if someone
else removes the system we installed, I will not give you your money
back.
2.       The original Cert fee was $350.

If this is you final stance I’m not sure where to go from here, but point #1 is not negotiable.

[redacted]

We are at the mercy of [redacted] to pull the unit out of our home and allow us to remediate the mold.  Our goal is to be fully refunded for the unit, reimbursed for all necessary items to restore our home and if at all possible get the 10% Contingency in case ASI and it's employees do further damage to our home.  We are willing to waive the Contingency if we can agree on the totals and a contract that is open-ended, which will enable us to receive money owed to us and if any damage is done to our home ASI will reimburse us for it.
Regards,
[redacted]

ASI has the right to refuse service or cancel service with a client as does every business. Ms. [redacted] rendered it extremely difficult to do business with. Ultimately, we did not provide any services to her, we do have a 100% satisfaction guarantee - this applies to services performed.

Dear Ms. [redacted],I've reviewed the history regarding the issue with the wall heater, it does appear that you have had a re-occurring issue since installation, none of the technicians were able to duplicate the problem that you are describing.   I also saw that we haven't had our Quality...

Control Supervisor out to review the situation.  We do want to rectify the situation to your satisfaction, up to and including replacement and/or refund.   I know it's asking a lot, but I'd like one more opportunity to send our Quality Control technician out.   Please let me know if you are open to this.Sincerely,[redacted]V.P. of Operations

We have carefully reviewed the estimates provided by Mr. [redacted], these are the same estimates provided to us previously in which we used to come up with our offer of $15,547.00. When reviewing these estimates here is the cost breakdown:
Quick Dry Flood Services estimate includes negative air machine cost: 3625.00
ET&T Invoice: $350.00
GS Construction: $2900.00
Refund of Installation: $8415.00
Trash removal of $450 is included in the GS construction proposal, trash removal is also listed in the Quick Dry estimate for $300.00
Closet finish is in GS Construction proposal for $250.00
No mention of the requirement of a Dehumidifier is made in either the ET & T evaluation or in the Quick Dry Flood Service estimate
We have never been provided with an estimate or cost from an outside source for a “Clean Air Certificate”
We have never received an estimate for soundboard and why it may or may not be needed.
When adding up these estimates it totals out to $15,290.00 which is $257.00 less than his provided estimates. We have consulted with our legal team and been advised to not agree to a contingency nor to agree to an open ended contract. We feel that our offer is fair and just.
