Always have a good experience with this company. [redacted] was professional and
efficient. He worked quickly and answered all my questions. I've found all of
ASI's employees to be personable as well as knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to deal with this company.

Have always and will always use ASI. Sergio L was very knowledgeable,polite and professional. This hold true of all the technicians I have dealt with.
Your commercials leave a lot to be desired . If looking at ASI for the first time I would NEVER select ASI based on their current commercials.

This is a review of ASI they are known as "The White Glove Guys." Their technician, [redacted], did a super job servicing my heating system this morning. He was very thorough, professional, courteous, and extremely detailed in servicing the York heating system. He inspected all the items listed on the check-off sheet--combustion air, burner ignition, heat exchangers, etc., as well as used an electronic camera to look inside the unit to make sure everything was clean and operating properly. I give Jay H and ASI, "The White Glove Guys," an A plus, plus!

Professional, efficient, and from my standpoint, a painless solar installation. Every step of the planning and installation process clearly explained to me and my wife. ASI was here for the inspection by the City Inspector and is taking care of SDG&E's requirements.
All of this accomplished from Monday to Friday.

[redacted] from ASI Hastings represented his company very well. He was helpful, communicated well what he was doing and reasons for each step as well as his observations of the equipment he was servicing. I was extremely pleased with the work he performed on the heater portion of our HVAC system.

Our Solar Installation was completed last Friday. The whole process from start to finish was excellent and done within 30days. [redacted] was our sales person. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Zachary Knox was our designer and was able to handle my special requests .[redacted] D. and his installation crew were outstanding. They were on time every day, they were all very polite, courteous and professional. The installation took just three days. If you are interested in Solar I suggest that you add ASI to your research list. Based on my research they the best excellent price and finance package. Plus the solar panels on my roof are made in the USA..

ASI’s price structure is and always has been in line with industry standards.  The cost of a part does not equate to the cost of the service.  The parts themselves are not the primary cost of a service.  Our service pricing includes the cost of having a knowledgeable technician that...

is able to determine the reason why a part is needed in the first place, the cost of paying the technician, the vehicle he drives, the vehicle insurance, maintenance and fuel.  There is also medical insurance for the technician, the cost of the building to house a warehouse, the cost of having a phone system and customer service representatives to take the phone call, medical insurance for the customer service representatives, utility costs and maintenance to keep a building up and running.  The cost of our warehouse staff to keep our vehicles stocked so that a client will get same day service without waiting for a return trip with a needed part.  There are uniform costs so that our technicians look professional, workman’s compensation costs, and the cost paid out in taxes to keep a business operating, you get the picture.  At the end of the day, we do hope for a small profit, and that’s what it is – a small profit.  Our pricing structure is not a gouging tactic nor is it unfair.  We will happily refund the $77 dollars back to the credit card used.

Today, June 15th, 2016, I had my central air conditioner unit fully serviced and also upgraded. Travis was my service technician. He also installed a part from a manufacturer for any type of electrical surge which was free of charge. He checked the a/c and it was fine with the freon levels. In addition, I had him upgrade the type of filter that my 2 year old York furnace, that I had bought from ASI, to a sophisticated one with more coils and is good for 2 years! The furnace will be reviewed in the Fall again.
All in all, it went fine, we discussed the charges for the a/c and the filter for my furnace. I should be set now for the summer and then have the furnace looked at for it's tune-up later on.

Had my winter season furnace tune-up done this morning. The tech was [redacted]. who was actually able to come earlier than scheduled which for me was great. He was friendly, courteous, professional and skilled. He checked out everything and replaced the exchanger air filter as well. I was very pleased as my expectations are and were very high I have to say ASI has delivered bow both times they have been here at the residence. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Glad I found such a great vendor as is often hard to these days!

I had the most positive experience using ASI. My technician, [redacted]., was very experienced, professional, and helpful. ASI will definitely be the people I call in the future.

[redacted] was the ASI Hastings Service Technician who came to check our Air Conditioning unit. He was very good. Very personable and knew his job.

My husband and I received a post card from ASI Hastings Heating, Air & Solar giving us a "service reminder" that their records indicate our furnace is due for an annual inspection and energy saving precision tune-up. ASI has never serviced our heater or A/C. I called their office to "confirm when our last inspection" was. The office couldn't find us in their system. It bothers me how many people, especially elderly people, would call to set up an appt? This is poor and misleading advertising in my eyes. I will never use ASI in the future due to this type of advertising.

Great easy service. Very professional and informative.

[redacted] was courteous and located the problem right away. He was able to fix the problem within less than 15 minutes and the AC worked fine after he left.

I am less enthusiastic about this business over time. I was very satisfied when I bought a new air conditioning/heating system in 2011 and ASI staff is always pleasant and they appear knowledgeable. More and more, however, during the regular service on the system I am being advised that something additional is needed to bring my system up to par (or most recently, to protect my system)....which saps my confidence in my still relatively new system. It's usually something that costs up to $200....twice a year when my system is serviced. Perhaps it would be helpful to have some written information to help me understand why additional costs are being recommended.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that having this heater rechecked by their specialist is fine with me.  But, just because this heater does not act up when they are here does not mean that it is a reliable heater.  I have had several people here when the heater is not working, and they have all tried to manipulate the thermostat, usually with no response, and several people have actually checked the pilot light to make sure it is on.  I will not be told that the defect is with me, or that I am in some way responsible for this problem.  The heater is not reliable.  Yes, the business may come out and recheck it again.  But, I do not consider this matter resolved.

Today, ASI provided its annual service for my air conditioning system. The technician, Jay, had an earlier opening and called to confirm that he could come earlier. He checked my unit thoroughly and cleaned the filters (my husband and I are disabled and unable to perform that function). He was very efficient and pleasant.

I found ASI Hastings residential solar sales team, admin/finance team, and especially the installation team to very professional and knowledgeable of their trade. They handled all the permits, were punctual and kept to their proposed schedule. I would recommend them to anyone embarking upon a Solar System Installation.

[redacted] who is a field technician with ASI repaired the force air heating system at my house today November 20, 2015. He was awesome, as he had previously diagnosed what appeared to be wrong, ordered the part, and replaced it today. Excellent personality, and very knowledgeable. It was a very positive experience, and he taught me a lot about the heating system I have at my house.
