Today I am handing this to you, and offering my *** *** to pay the Amount Due of $3, for "paid in full"
I am in dispute with
you over dragging your feet and finishing the job in 2016, complicating my tax credit matterI discussed yesterday with my CPA.
Your operation "was responsible" for this slop over, when in fact you were to finish the job in NovemberI can document this
I am in dispute over *** as the flip side of this letter has one of my last correspondence with their representative dismissing my objections to a 3rd party taking my password and personal information for "other" use, as a condition to 3rd party monitoringIf that is the best *** can do, their equipment is trash
My previous email to you reiterated "Your Solar Installation" page whereas "once your new system is energized, the monitoring of the system will become available via a web base platform from the manufacturer of your invertersYou will receive an e-mail directly from them with your unique login and password information."
Not so!

ASI Hastings is a giant disappointment, in that there has not been responses to my e-mails, phone calls and the lack of respect for my privacy rights
They would show up without calling first
I objected right off the top about people I don't know entering my house and wanting to take the password off my equipment and establish the 3rd party connections, when I was advised "not to give out my password to anyone" by AT&T
*** dismissed this as OK and doing business as usualI have to agree with AT&T and most professionals that tell everyone, protect your passwords, internet, and privacy

Be very wary of bids from this firm, especially if you are elderly When the heater went out earlier this week my parents called ASI for a bid; a salesman came out & the bid was over $11,to replace the furnace and all of the ventsCampbell in Escondido also gave them a bid and for less than $the faulty part was fixed and the furnace was working
ASI did their best to take advantage of an elderly couple - don't let them do the same to you or anyone you know!

*** did a wonderful job! He replaced three blown fuses on 12/19/He called before he came to our house, was on time, and was very friendlyWe really appreciated itThe heater works great! We now can have a warm ChristmasThank you

I requested a yearly service on my two in the wall AC unitsThe service technician that came was very professional and showed me how to clean my unit filters and other washable parts
He tested the units and found that they were not cooling properly He clearly explained that there was a leak in one of three places and explained the different choses I could have him do I chose to have him fill more coolant which immediately made the units cool properly I told him I would call ASI immediately when and if I notice the units not working properly in the future He explained to me about where the areas the leak could be and what a technician would need to do to locate the leak or if in the under piping a new pipe would have to be installed I chose to wait to see how long the coolant lasts
He also told me about a program that ASI has for getting a 15% discount I just had to pay the cost of next years service check This great and I signed upI was very impressed by his professionalism and how he clearly explained my options As an retired manager for the County of San Diego I would consider Joel as a perfect person to hire for the reasons above and he is a perfect employee to represent your company

*** was on time, friendly, efficient and courteous

Service tech Jay was: on time, professional in his manner and attitude, fully discussed what he did and why, provided a digital report of all this and wore the shoe covers to protect the floor and rugHe is an excellent example of ASI's other techs who service both our furnace and AC

The original issues that occurred shortly after our installation were addressed and resolved to the ***’ satisfactionThe R-leak was cleaned and the furnace reinstalledThe damage to the trees outside were a result of our supplier’s delivery driver, the vehicle that did the
damage was not an ASI vehicle nor was the driver an ASI employeeWe notified the parties that caused the damage and they addressed the damage directly with the ***’
The ***’ report in their complaint against ASI that they notified us in June of a mildew smell and that we did nothing about itI have attached a letter from Mr*** that we received August 23, 2013, there is no mention of his ever contacting us at an earlier date regarding a possible problemIn the second paragraph Mr*** writes that in June he noticed a smell but could not determine its originHe also states that he called a floor inspector out to his home to try and locate where the smell may be emanating from and that the possibilities of sprinklers, water leak or plumbing issues were eliminatedHe writes that on August the 19th he removed all items from his daughter’s room and concluded on his own that the furnace that ASI installed was the cause of the mildew smellAt that time he asked ASI for a refund of the furnace installation, payment for a new floor, and drywall replacement/ repair costsHe had not had an independent party provide an analysis or reports to support his claimOur response was to ask if the owner, *** ***, could visit the home along with Gold Coast Flood Restorations to verify if indeed damages relating to our installation had occurredThe visit was scheduled for August the 26th,
Upon visiting the home, there were no visual signs of mold or water damageThere was a small area at the corner of the common wall bedroom where the floor had a slightly elevated level of moistureGold Coast recommended that the floor be tented and dried in placeMr*** declined the service and instead stated that he wanted the entire floor removed and replaced at ASI’s expenseASI would have paid Gold Coast directly for the work to be donePlease see the attached report from Gold Coast Restoration
On September the 6th, *** *** spoke with *** *** offering to pay for the replacement of the floor at the original installation cost of $as well as to remove the furnace installed and refund the ***’ the original installation cost of $Due to the fact that at that time the ***’ had refused Gold Coast recommendation of drying out of the area of moisture, ASI contacted our attorney to ask what course of action should be takenOur attorney advised us that we should get a release of liability signed by the ***’ so that if future damage occurred ASI would not be held responsible*** *** stated that she would discuss the offer with her husband and call us back
We did not hear back from the ***’ until December the 6thThey then stated that they felt that there were more damages than they originally thoughtAt that point we decided that it would be best to turn the matter over to our insurance carrierWe contacted our carrier on 12/10/and had an adjuster assigned to the ***’ claim on 12/11/Please see attached email from our insurance carrierThe adjuster visited the home on 12/30/Mr*** states in his complaint that ASI is the party that had control over the timeliness of the adjusters visitUnfortunately, we do notThe fact that the ***’s stated that the damages began in and continued through did slow down the process as we had changed carriers during that timeOur carriers had to sort out which one of them would be responsible for the claimMr*** is correct, it was determined that Crum and Foster was not responsible but Cunningham & Lindsey wereThe insurance carrier supplied their estimate of damages and costs associated to ASI on January 2, Please see attached, page of the offer includes a breakdown of the offer totaling $The settlement only included the cost of repairing the physical damage, it did not include mold remediationWe received an email from Mr*** dated 01/13/stating that he was appalled by the insurance company’s findings and refused to accept the settlement providedPlease see attached email
At that point we began negotiating with Mr*** in order to resolve all issue’s and damages to his satisfactionWe consulted with our insurance carriers and counsel to determine the actual damages, as well as taking into account written estimates that Mr*** provided, we made an offer of $15,Mr*** countered with $23,in damagesPlease see attached email with offer and counter offerMr***’s figures are not in alignment with standard practices for determining an actual claim amount, portions of his counter include items that we feel are excessiveWe feel that our offer is fair and just

We wanted to post our satisfaction with your employee, ***He called before coming, came on time, performed his services in a timely, professional and courteous mannerWe were very happy with his performance

Was very well impressed by how diligent the three technitians, Kyle, David and Chris were who came to install, furnace , a/c and air ducts They worked continuously and cleaned after themselves in such an impeccable manner which was much appreciated Also explained the functions in a clear unrushed manner and were most cordial and well mannered I will highly recommended and they came highly recommended to us as well

Brad C, ASI Service Technician, provided my air conditioning tuthis morning He arrived on time having called ahead to let me know his arrival time He was extremely polite and respectful, worked neatly, was very informative and answered my questions professionally He was a pleasure to have in my home; in fact, I will personally request him for future appointments

I paid for furnace maintenanceThe cost to replace a run capacitor was $This was with a discountI was told replace it or motor would be damagedExcept for the igniter being quickly sanded and changing out the capacitor and a UV bulb no other maintenance was doneYet the email maintenances check form I received after has a chech in each box as performedI stood over the tech the whole time and nothing else was done except for what I mentioned I was also charged $to change out my UV bulb
I think this company takes advantage of Folks ignorance especially Senior'sI do not recommend them

No, I do not have a warranty that covers this appliance The guarantee expired last December, I was calling them when the heater would not respond to the thermostat, but by the time ASI was able to sent out a technician, the heater had spontaneously begun working No rhyme, no reason The heater has been unresponsive anywhere from two hours to two days
I don't know what to do next I am exasperatedASI has offered to send out a Quality Control Technician, but their previous four techs couldn't find out what was wrong All four techs offered the information that these heaters were unreliable

*** *** came to check our two furnaces, and did a great jobHe also gave us info on APCO air purifier; I googled it and he installed it on both furnacesWe can tell already it's made a difference: a microwavable hand-warmer had EXPLODED four days earlier and the entire house smelled of exploded hand-warmerNothing toxic but very distracting and somewhat unpleasantNothing could get rid of it; cleaning, sprayingAnd today the air in the house is pure and cleanThank you, ***! and ASI

ASI is a great companyThe technicians are always so friendly and respectful of my propertyLuke was greatI highly recommend this company

*** provided excellent service in checking our AC system He was clear and patient in explaining his findings, as well as the various options we might consider I cannot imagine a more positive experience Highly recommended!

My heater's motor stopped working *** from ASI quickly discovered the problem and had the motor back running within the hour *** was courteous and professional I have used ASI in the past and highly recommend them!
