Luke Scandrett. Very Helpful, answered all questions and gave me a better understanding of the possible issues and how to troubleshoot in the future.

The technician was polite, professional, and courteous. He was also knowledgeable and pleasant. I have always been happy with my dealings with ASI. I've used them before and I will use them again.

[redacted] was very skilled and proffessional in performing his work.
Excellent skills and work habits.

ASI has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, we do our best to provide the highest level of service possible.  In this instance, the system we installed was faulty we replaced it not only once but twice.  Upon the second unit failing,  on 9/1/15 we replaced the [redacted] air conditioner with a...

[redacted] air conditioner.  We believe that the situation has been rectified to the homeowner's satisfaction. Sincerely,[redacted]

[redacted] serviced our furnace today. The company called before he arrived. He arrived on time. He was knowledgeable and best of all, he did not leave any mess for us to clean up! Thank you [redacted].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] & [redacted] ASI Hastings response did not address the majority of issues.  Complaints to the Revdex.com were supposed to be about a business failure to perform in some way.  All ASI Hastings is doing  is repeating the racial card of accusations.  That resolves nothing.  Today I received the following from my son who has a solar installation, about 'privacy and passwords".  I am including this in my response because ASI Hastings insists there is only one way, their way: T[redacted] <t[redacted]> Today at 10:45 AM To [redacted] Message body
My system has a wireless puke
which collects the information from the 32 inverter and communicates
with [redacted].  I did not set it up so I am not sure how it works, but I
can say I did not give [redacted] my Home password, which has been changed
several time and
it still works.
You should not have to buy equipment to make your system work right.  Get someone out from the place who installed it.
That was the 3rd, as for the second, again that seems ridiculous to me and $$$ out of your pocket.
Seems Warn is your best resource since he has the same system and referred you.
I'm at pep boys right now
checking on my tires so this is not a great time for me to do research, I
can try an look at it when I get home, I would be going to the
installer or [redacted] for a solution!
[redacted] So Revdex.com, how are you a resolution or complaint service that benefits me?  ASI Hastings refused to anything the above, "monitoring of my system" which is inclusive of my purchase. What have you to say about all the times I tried to get them and they ignored me? Perhaps ASI Hastings and Revdex.com, being block neighbors, with ASI Hastings Fourier loaded with torch awards from you is a clue.Last, do you read complaints?Do you take them seriously?Do you just forward complaints to the party and forward them back and forth until someone quits? How does Revdex.com let San Diegans like us know about business that are out of line?Perhaps [redacted] might want to see how Revdex.com and ASI Hastings operate.  [redacted]., [redacted]

Recently I had furnace and air conditioner installed by ASI. Due to special circumstances; they came a few weeks early to remove my old units. Then they came back to instal the new furnace and airconditioner unit. I am super satisfied with Alvaro,Erik and Jerry who were the installers. They were extremely helpful and demonstrate professionalism with their workmanship. I definitely recommend others to consider ASI. Thank you ASI.

Its clear to me that Mr. H takes a lot of pride in his work, and takes the time to listen as well as explain what course of action would be needed to remedy our problem. He has renewed my previously shaken confidence in ASI.
I shall be requesting Jay for any future service issues.

My new furnace was inspected two days ago by [redacted]. He called before he came and was at my house when he said he would. I found him to be friendly, informative, and knowledgeable.

ASI technician Jay H not only was on time but was actually early which I appreciated. Jay was very courteous and explained exactly what the issue was and the best way to correct it. He also gave me a clear review of the cost to repair the AC.
Repairs were completed quickly.

Very Professional. Highly educated and great ability to articulate issues we were facing. We have some follow up to decide on. There was NO pressure in terms of we have to fix the issues now, rather, here is a number, I suggest it, follow up if you choose to go forward. I felt that if I needed I have time to get a competing bid. I really appreciated the non hard sell.

I really appreciated [redacted]'s upbeat, positive presence this morning as he did the maintenance on my heater! Professional and friendly.

ASI did a wonderful job. They gave an accurate estimate, arrived on time and did the installation in the time estimated. I would definitely use them again!

Fernando C, Michael Q. the performance was exemplary is outstanding knowledge professionalism and courtesy provided outstanding service and he should be commended for his performance

[redacted] completed our heater evaluation with expertise. He was helpful and very competent.

ASI has not contacted me. ASI's [redacted] said the AC was bad. ASI installed 23amp Time Delay and a compresor saver kit.
Items Didn't work. Invoice [redacted]- 6/23/14. He suggested a full repalcement. Service fee of $67 and #[redacted]work, if we contracted for
a new Ac , would be included in the conract price. No service charge. We were charged a $67 fee on my Visa. I requested a
$67 Visa removal. It was ignored.  We asked that the distressed Tenants not be contacted except for installation dates.
The 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog were suffering without an AC unit. This was an Urgent request.
Contract [redacted] Shows tenant [redacted] name. Agreed she would be contacted directly for installation date. They have to
get permission to take off work without pay. It was agreed on.  I have a signed contract by [redacted].
Their was full access to the roof. No need to stop the job. ASI get on roofs everyday. ASI had been on the roof
and knew the situation way before the install date.  As far as "reaching the roof via a ladder violated several OSHA safety regulations"
Then how come we were told that on the next installation date ASI was going to use "slider ladders" against condo walls to go up the walls
on the next installation  date? Again the new contractor handled the removal and replacement without ANY problems. They
inspected the job before their installation date. No problems with this company. I do not know who from ASI came over to
"verify the model and serial number of exisitng rooftop AC" .  This was a second visit to roof? Again ASI were familiar with the roof and
surrounding structures. The school was in plain sight. Crane problem, ASI problem. I am a paying customer depending on a contractor
to do the job properly and on time as promised.  The statement from [redacted], "At that time we were unsure of how we would be
able to get the unit up",  Why would you make a contract with tenants in severe heat distess if you didn't know what to do?
Why would you ask your customer how to do your work? Not my problem.
On promised installation date they arrived and left. My tenants became angry. I called [redacted] at ASI for help. I asked for
some kind of portable AC unit for my tenants. She told me they did not do that. Only when they install heaters. I hung up
and ordered a new portable AC unit at Best Buy. Son [redacted] picked it up and installed it for tenants.  It helped. Several days later a
old, 3 leg portable AC unit delivered to condo. No one ever said anything about it, just delivered. It put out hot air
so tenants put it on back patio and called me angry. The comment "ASI provided a portable air condition" is sooooooooo
missleading. I was totally turned down for that request. [redacted] never called me back. I had to get them Hotel rooms.
You couldn't access on 7/25 because ASI failed to contact [redacted] to verify the date. Agreement for contract.
"SOONER DATES", No, the first installation date was the promised installation. You arrived and failed the jobsite.
[redacted] you told me that ASI "did not  prep" for the installation. Why not? We never saw a AC unit that morning.
ASI, after you Breached our contract,  [redacted] calls me and says ASI has to reschuled installation out 22 more days.
For the first time I lost my temper.  [redacted], your employee,  had not idea what was going on.
After this mess started my condo had water running down the inside walls. I was a contractor for many years.
When you have a contract and any damage is reported you notify any subs on the job to see if their work will
be envolved or affected. [redacted]'s comment was, "go hire a plumber, that AC unit has been dead for weeks".
I notified my insurance carrier, HOA and ASI. Hired a Plumbing/AC company. We had had a small rain storm.
HOA found a minor roof leak and immediately repaired it same day I called them. The plumber said our
AC unit had been tampered with but located the leaks coming form the Unit [redacted] AC unit, upstairs form us.
ASI started to use the excuse for all the mess to HOA older roofs, ASI never on roof, ASI never did
work on my AC. etc. etc.. ASI you just didn't care. Not once did any ASI employee admit wrong doing.
One emplyee said they were sorry. One said if we hire more men we will just have to fire them. (not
sure what that means)  "Sooner dates" avaliable, NO   ONE date, one installation promised with a signed contract.
[redacted] you even blamed the "life expectancy of the HOA buildings" for your inability to perform your contract.
"I do not want to be called" statement is correct. Talking with anyone at ASI without  written proof would be
stupid. I was done with the blame game.  HOA needed to be kept up to date also. I told you that and
gave you the HOA name and phone number. I told you that when you said ASI was going on the roof with
slidder ladders that the walls you use belong to HOA not me.  I understand you never called them. Again,
as an experienced retired contractor I would of contacted HOA, Thought I was helping you out.
Also, you can never be charged with any damage if it proves to belong to someone else. You didn't even
care enough to look. I paid the plumber overtime to investigate. We just couldn't hold this mess
up so I paid to have it investicated. Need to add that to my ASI refund request.
I repeat, "I am SO dissatisfied with the way my tenants have been treated. I have NEVER been treated
so badly by ANY contractor EVER.
[redacted], You never offered " a contact with your insurance company in any way. The call was I said "you may
want to contact your insurance to investagate the reported water found. Your response was
It is not our leak, The AC has not worked for weeks, Call a Plumber. I think that was a phone call but I will
look it up in the email piles. I called a Plumber/AC company to investigate.
In your reply you still do not give ANY reason for contract Default. TRUE when a company like ASI
treats a customer like we were treated we are dissatisfied, angry, DISAPPOINTED. My request for
fiancial reembursement suffered form ASI still stands. It is a small part of what was indured.
Your company guarantees satisfaction 100%.  When?

I purchased a new air conditioner from ASI Hastings Heating and Air. There were no problems with the original installation of my air conditioner except for one thing. The installation techs forgot to bring 3 return register pieces so I scheduled an appointment for the following week to have ASI come back out to install them. The appointment was scheduled between 8:00-10:00am. ASI calls me at 1:00pm 3 hours after the scheduled time to tell me they were short staffed that day and were unable to fulfill their appointment. I then re-scheduled a second time to have them come out the following week for a morning appointment. Another installation tech shows up at my house and told me that he was here for duct installation. I then advised the tech that it was supposed to be for return register pieces and not duct work. The installation tech told me that there must have been a mix up and that I would have to re-schedule again a 3rd time for an afternoon appointment.
Another installation tech shows up at my house again later in the afternoon to install the 3 final return register pieces. However, the tech only had 2 out of the 3 return registers with him. The installation tech told me that I would have to schedule a 4th appointment with them to have them come back and install the final piece. That same day I also advised the installation tech that the city inspector was also coming to inspect for the permit. The first thing out of the tech's mouth was "I hope he brings a ladder." I didn't think anything of that comment until the city inspector shows up at my house and fails the inspection because ASI failed to provide a ladder for the city inspector to climb into the attic. Yes I know, that part sounds weird but the city of San Diego does not provide their own inspectors with ladders. The city inspector told me that ASI is responsible for providing the city with an OSHA approved ladder. Figure that one out...??? Obviously I then had to re-schedule the city inspector to come back out again the following week when ASI provides the ladder.
This company cannot get it together! I have no problem recommending a company to someone but only when credit is due. ASI caused me to have to stay home and wait for them 3 weeks in a row, ridiculous! I would not recommend ASI.

Most recently had the annual heater check-up for my heating/air system. Bill Haynes was the technician. He was everything that ASI advertises - prompt, professional, great service. I have used ASI to install a heater system in my previous residence and a heater/air/ducts in my current home. I will continue to recommend them to my friends - excellent customer service at all levels of their organization.

Thank you for letting us know that we fell short.  After reviewing the service calls and listening to the calls made between our office and the client, there is no doubt that a serious lack of communication occurred.  While we aren't perfect, we do recognize when we make mistakes and do...

everything possible to rectify them.  I have requested that our accounting department refund the $247.00 back to the credit card.  I've also attached a copy of both invoices for your records.Sincerely,[redacted]V.P. of Operations

ASI sincerely apologizes for the way in which the scheduling as handled.  While there is no excuse for what occurred, we currently are training several new customer service representatives.  When looking into the situation it appears that the scheduling was handled by one of our newer...

staff members.  We will most certainly follow up with additional training.  I do see that we are scheduled to perform the necessary repairs on 3/24/15 with the appropriate field staff.  I also see that we reduced the cost of the repair from $1500.00 down to $675.00.  Mr. [redacted] has used our services in the past, we value his patronage and would hate to lose a client over this issue.  There is no doubt that the scheduling was mishandled, the service that we provided was sub-par and not to our typical standards.  Moving forward, we will make every effort to provide the quality of service that this homeowner deserves.  I'd love to be the point of contact moving forward in order to ensure that there are no other future issues.Sincerely,
