Up until our home was inspected the other day, I liked this company. Even though they did not install the heating/air in the house, they did perform their service checks and the system still works to this day. Unfortunately, the technicians do not inspect the entire system, just specific 'points'. Come to find out, the equipment is run off an extension cord, traps are located in the wrong position, and all drains are connected together. It would have been nice to know this when we first started having them service our equipment.
They did notice that the ducting in the attic needed to be replaced and they quickly sent over an estimator to quote the work. He gave us time to think it over (it was a decent price btw) and said he would call back. When he called back I had a few easy questions to ask him, and he said he would get back to me with the answers. It has been over 6 months and I am still waiting. Although now it is too late as we have to get that fixed ASAP.

Fernando and crew installed our solar and they were awesome! We're very happy with the level of service and professionalism. Fernando was great at explaining what they were doing and making sure we understood the process. He and his crew arrived on time and got to work right away. They were super polite and even put up with our dogs begging for them to play! I highly recommend Fernando and his team.

ASI installed my LENNOX A/C unit in 2011. Up until recently ASI has given me great service. I even had a paid maintenance service with them until just recently. On 25 June an ASI technician troubleshot my A/C system and found that the outdoor condenser fan motor failed and that they would have to obtain a quote in order to proceed. On 1 July I contacted ASI to inquire about the status of quoting the part and was told that they did absolutely nothing with my trouble ticket and filed it away without any further action! Five days lost on ordering the part because either the technician or ASI managers failed to follow up. I paid $67 for the technician visit which is supposed to go toward the cost of the repair. I would expect this poor customer service from federal, state and city employees not from a professional contractor like ASI.
I am NOT a happy customer right now.

Service with [redacted] today. As usual with the ASI folks, nothing short of outstanding. Technically competent and courteous individual as is all of ASI folks. Very pleased with my product and purchase two years ago. I enjoy their enthusiasm for the company and it's service and products. I was a Navy engineer for 30 years and being able to talk shop with [redacted] was good. It recharged my batteries. ASI seems to really take care of it's employees. Rare these days. It shows with their service techs. Thank you for a great product.

There is no excuse for the lack of service that was
provided, from the lack of communication within our offices to the timeliness
or lack thereof regarding appointments to the error made in accounting by
assuming that the credit card on file was to be charged.  We do...

procedures in place to ensure that this type of neglect does not occur in the

ASI Hastings representative, Mr. Joe G., was very professional and knowledgeable about my A/C problems and concerns and went the extra mile to be certain everything was fixed to my satisfaction. I do not belong to Facebook or other sources of social media; so unable to post there, however, if Mr. G. wishes to post my comments, that is ok with me.

We have always had very professional service with ASI. We having been using them for 6 years. All the technicians are highly knowledgeable, professional, friendly and have a high level of integrity. Most recently, [redacted], was very helpful in diagnosing our air con issue quickly and with a cost effective solution.

[redacted] just repaired a freon leak associated with a new, two-month old, air conditioning unit. He rapidly examined the equipment, found the leak, and resoldered the piping. Afterwords, he pressure checked the system, recharged it to factory specs, and returned everything to normal operation. He did this repair job in fifty minutes, exceptional performance.
ASI's performance to date is exemplary.

[redacted]. was great. Was very courteous and helpful. We had to order a part and it took longer than I planned but he came out and installed it in a timely manner. I would recommend ASI to anyone. Very good company and [redacted] was outstanding.

[redacted] was great! My appointment time was scheduled between 12:00 and 3:00. [redacted] made it there at 12:30, which was great! He asked me to share some symptoms the unit was showing, and from that he was able to narrow the problem down to one of three things. [redacted], then jiggled a few pipes, conducted a water test, then went to the backyard to check out the AC unit and was able to identify the issue. My repair was complete in all of 10 minutes. In total [redacted] was at my home for 30 minutes and the repair was complete. [redacted] was professional, and fast and best of all the rate was great! Thanks [redacted]!

[redacted] came out to fix an air conditioner problem. He was able to identify and offer several solutions to fix the issue I was having as well as make suggestions that would prolong the life of my air conditioner units. Technician was well informed and thoroughly explained the issues he found and presented me with various options to resolve them. Have used ASI for years and always found them very knowledgable and professional.

I contacted ASI Inc several weeks ago to review my home heating and air conditioning since it had not operated effectively or efficiently over the last several months. Through an in home visit and technical investigation we determined that a replacement of the entire AC system was needed, both to improve air flow and reduce electrical consumption.
Several weeks later, a professional team of [redacted], and [redacted] from ASI showed up at my front door with everything needed to do the job. And, do the job they did. All were very courteous, knowledgable, and efficient, working throughout the entire installation as a team. The entire job was completed in under 5 hours with the resulting in a new, efficient cooling system installed and performing perfectly.
We were fortunate to have selected ASI and receive the best professional help out there.

Fernando and crew did a fantastic job! They worked hard and got the work done earlier than expected. They cleaned up each day as though they hadn't been here. I appreciated Fernando being kind and very helpful! So far, ASI has been a really great experience and I highly recommend them!

Brendon with ASI was completely professional, thorough and patient in conducting our maintenance and providing options for our particular needs. I highly recommend him and ASI !

After the Cedar fire in El Cajon the house was rebuilt by a shady contractor, with in two years we burned up the heating and air unit due to under sizing.
So during a heat spell of in the 100's we had ASI come out for an estimate, they came to our risqué with a good payment plan for a 3 ton air and heating unit. The contractor put in a 1.5. A crew of 5 worked in that heat so we could be cool in a heat wave. They worked 12 hours straight in August. After 4 years we found a hole that was left open which was a highway for rodents. ASI bent over backwards to correct the issue. It cost them almost 4000.00 to correct the issue, I could not ask for a better company then ASI to keep there word and grantee. I do love there service.

ASI sincerely apologizes for the way in which the scheduling as handled.  While there is no excuse for what occurred, we currently are training several new customer service representatives.  When looking into the situation it appears that the scheduling was handled by one of our newer...

staff members.  We will most certainly follow up with additional training.  I do see that we are scheduled to perform the necessary repairs on 3/24/15 with the appropriate field staff.  I also see that we reduced the cost of the repair from $1500.00 down to $675.00.  Mr. [redacted] has used our services in the past, we value his patronage and would hate to lose a client over this issue.  There is no doubt that the scheduling was mishandled, the service that we provided was sub-par and not to our typical standards.  Moving forward, we will make every effort to provide the quality of service that this homeowner deserves.  I'd love to be the point of contact moving forward in order to ensure that there are no other future issues.Sincerely,[redacted]V.P of OperationsASI Heating, Air & Solar[redacted]

12-25-16 ASI Hastings Heating & Air[redacted] Today I am handing this to you, and offering my [redacted] to pay the Amount Due of $3, 964.20 for "paid in full". I am in dispute with you over dragging your feet and finishing the job in 2016,...

complicating my tax credit matter. I discussed yesterday with my CPA. Your operation "was responsible" for this slop over, when in fact you were to finish the job in November. I can document this. I am in dispute over [redacted] as the flip side of this letter has one of my last correspondence with their representative dismissing my objections to a 3rd party taking my password and personal information for "other" use, as a condition to 3rd party monitoring. If that is the best [redacted] can do, their equipment is trash. My previous email to you reiterated "Your Solar Installation" page 2 whereas "once your new system is energized, the monitoring of the system will become available via a web base platform from the manufacturer of your inverters. You will receive an e-mail directly from them with your unique login and password information." Not so! "THANK YOU FOR TRUSTING THE WHITE GLOVE GUYS! WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO MAKE THIS THE BEST HOME SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF YOUR LIFE" ASI Hastings is a giant disappointment, in that there has not been responses to my e-mails, phone calls and the lack of respect for my privacy rights. They would show up without calling first. I objected right off the top about people I don't know entering my house and wanting to take the password off my equipment and establish the 3rd party connections, when I was advised "not to give out my password to anyone" by AT&T. [redacted] dismissed this as OK and doing business as usual. I have to agree with AT&T and most professionals that tell everyone, protect your passwords, internet, and privacy.  [redacted]
