I am rejecting this response because: The reasons that they stated as basis for the denial are not valid as the record indicated the ATM's that a person uses should not matter when a person steals another persons debit card. There was police information to validate that I was not the person in possession of my debit card at the time of the theft. Therefore, could not have any knowledge of where the person used the card. Again as I stated before the places of use should not be valid reason for denying a person claim for reimbursement.

Letter sent to Ms. [redacted]FAIR HEARING REVIEW[redacted]REVIEWED THE TRANSACTION HISTORY FOR THE ACCT; Ms. [redacted] HAS UNDISPUTED HISTORY WITH THE MERCHANT / LOCATION SINCE JULY 2016 MULTIPLE REFUNDS SHOW THAT MS. [redacted] HAD RECURRING MEMBERSHIP OR SERVICE WITH MERCHANT.MULTIPLE BALANCE INQUIRES DONE BY MS. [redacted]’S TELEPHONE NUMBER OF RECORD DURING THE DISPUTED TRANSACTIONS.THE DISPUTED TRANSACATIONS DO NOT FOLLOW KNOWN FRAUD TRENDS FOR STOLEN CARDS. THE TRXS TAKE PLACE OVER SEVERAL MONTHS AND ARE FOR SMALLER AMOUNTS. THE ACCT BALANCE IS NOT EMPTIED IN ONE OR TWO LARGE TRANSACTIONSALSO, IN REGARDS TO SKIN RECOVER NOW AND RCC*EYEEXTEND TRANXS, APPEARS MS. [redacted] WOULD HAVE SIGNED UP FOR A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP/SERVICE ON DEC 2016 (SEE ATTCHMENT) AND DID NOT CANCEL BEFORE THE TRIAL EXPIRED. THE CH HAD TO AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE CONTINUING WITH OFFER. THE CH DID NOT CANCEL AND THEREFORE WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE.NO INVALID CARD# ATTEMPTS AFTER CARD WAS CLOSED. THE FAIR HEARING REVIEW SUPPORTS ORIGINAL INVESTIGATION: DENIED/ REFER TO MERCHANT  In summary, Ms. [redacted]’s dispute was denied for the reason described above.  Ms. [redacted] would need to pursue any reimbursement directly with the Merchant.  Additionally, Ms. [redacted] was sent a letter detailing the denial.  Direct Express also called Ms. [redacted] and reviewed the denial in detail. Comerica respectfully requests that you close this complaint as having no merit against Comerica Bank.  Ms. [redacted] needs to work directly with the Merchant. Sincerely,[redacted] Vice PresidentComerica Incorporated

I am rejecting this response because:I'm still waiting for the statements to arrive so that I can take everything to the police department to file a police report. I still expect to be reimbursed for the amount I have asked to be refunded. In each of the emails I've gotten from them, nothing has been mentioned of reimbursement whatsoever, even when I prove that this was done without my knowledge or consent.

I am rejecting this response because:direct express has made this up because they have been neglecting my claims, and also have not sent me monthly statements as I requested.  Also due to an illness I was notable to checkmy account, itcould have been anyone, inccluding someone at direct express calling to check myaccount... So therefore they have been negligent and havenotdone a good job in helpingme recoup my money..
google play has been doing this and getting away with it, there is a lawyer working on my claim now, also the Federal Trade Commission.

I am rejecting this response because:Direct Express themselves caused the overdraft on my account when they were doing their investigation, therefore when they put the monies in my account it was absorbed by their own mistakes on my account. I CANNOT USE MONIES I DON'T HAVE, THEREFORE I CANNOT OVERDRAFT MY OWN ACCOUNT! DIRECT EXPRESS OVERDREW MY ACCOUNT, NOT ME! THEREFORE I AM STILL OWED MONEY FROM THEM! WHEN THEY PAID THE MONEY  I DIDN'T  RECEIVE IT BECAUSE OF THE OVERDRAFT THAT CAUSED BY THEM!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE I FEEL AS IF I HAVE BEEN A VICTIM OF FRAUD TWICE!! ONCE  BY THE U KNOWNS THAT STOLE FROM ME AND ONCE BY DIRECT EXPRESS!!

I was impressed by her understanding and compassion, and by the hard work she had already done to resolve my complaint before contacting me. She was a shining light in the midst of this very difficult situation! I am satisfied with the resolution of this complaint.

Revdex.com,I have been informed by the Direct Express Customer Advocacy Group that they have reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s account from September 2014 through current and he was never charged any statement fees.  Direct Express sent Mr. an email requesting he contact them for assistance.  Direct Express called Mr. [redacted] on 3/13 and again on 3/18 and was unsuccessful in speaking with him nor were they able to leave a message since his voicemail has not been set up.  No return call or email has been received from Mr. [redacted].On February 13, 2015, the Customer Advocacy Group forwarded Mr. [redacted]’s request to the helpdesk team to resolve his issue. Helpdesk team later replied that Mr. [redacted]’s issue has been resolved and he now has access to his account online.In summary, I can truly appreciate the frustration Mr. [redacted] has experienced but unfortunately Direct Express is unable to compensate him for his telephone bills.  If Mr. [redacted] has any questions, please encourage him to contact me directly.Sincerely,[redacted]Comerica Incorporated313.[redacted]
