Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was suppose to receive free freight as well, according to the email today, also I have not received a tracking number for the correct item, we are going on a month now that this company has had my money and I still do not have the correcy items, and I get is it isn't a stock item and we have to communicate with the vendor, I do not buy all of that, it ia many poor customer service! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am Active Duty military for years now and refuse to accept with my knowledge of how integrity and honor works that a company would ever separate their business practices from [redacted] Corvette Mods has their name on [redacted] and if a business is not taking responsibility one month later after I return a part that cost me $68.99, then that business is at fault and needs to be addressed through the means I'm having to take I mean no disrespect, but I have supplied proof of my returns one month ago and Corvette Mods is not replying to [redacted] within 3-business days This is not [redacted] 's fault Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am glad [redacted] finally decided to furnish me with the information I have spent months now trying to get from themAfter reading this I spent evenings on the phone with [redacted] and [redacted] The first thing is that the Sept 8th transaction when [redacted] took the funds from [redacted] does not show up on my [redacted] account what so ever(See attached files and description below.) [redacted] couldn’t even find it until I got to a manager level [redacted] took the funds from [redacted] upon ***’s request due to the disputeI conveyed to [redacted] over and over that the dispute was not for the entire transaction but only for one item and they still filed the initial dispute for the entire amountThey did get it right the second time when I disputed the results [redacted] has told me time and time again that no funds were taken from [redacted] and still tells me that todayI believe because [redacted] is holding the funds not ***, [redacted] does confirm that the dispute has been settled in [redacted] favor (due to the lack of a second response from the vendor as I stated previously) but [redacted] never received the notice that the dispute was concluded so they never released the funds back to the vendor- [redacted] ***At this point [redacted] charged my wife’s [redacted] (different name and different card number than the purchase or dispute) $This has made things very difficult because [redacted] will not look at this as one issue and wants to treat the charges on my wife’s card as a separate issue [redacted] has told me they will expedite authorization from [redacted] to release the funds back to [redacted] at which time I will expect the charges on my wife’s card to be refunded.I have attached my [redacted] account showing that to this date I have not received the funds back to them regarding this dispute So in essence I have overpaid for the items received since no money has ever been given back to me by [redacted] or [redacted] and because [redacted] charged my wife's credit card for $on Sept10tPage one shows the only transactions visible to me on my [redacted] account with [redacted] *** Pages and show the details of the transactions showing the $refund due to the 3rd party vendor not being able to supply the undisputed part as I ordered it from the [redacted] website on the same order as the disputed part Regards, [redacted]

Our sales reps are only able to refer a customer to a specific part based off the information the customer givesWe are unable to see the actual exhaust and the reps ask questions to help determine what part is neededThe customer did not tell the sales rep that he had an NPP exhaust and instead stated said it a non upgraded standard exhaustThe item was already in the customers shopping cart when he called us and all the rep did was verify that it was the item he wanted and needed then completed the orderThe part that was sent to him is the part that he ordered and was not sent in error nor was he guided to that part incorrectlyThe customer should have known upon attempted installation if the item was incorrect before he forced it onto his carWe have customers call us all the time because they realized they ordered for the wrong exhaust and up until now no one has ever had to cut one off because they got it wedgedWe regret that the customer feels that we are being unreasonable in our response however we cannot honor his requests because the item has been completely destroyedHe states that the lower piece is still intact but that does no good without the other pieceIt is unfortunate that the customer forced the part onto his car and had to destroy it to get it off, had he called us before doing that then we absolutely would have worked with him to get the issue correctedWe simply are unable to refund, exchange or give store credit for an item that cannot be resold and is of no value due to the customer cutting itWe are willing to offer the customer a discounted price if he would like to order a replacement for the correct exhaust and he can call our sales department to have that discount appliedThank you, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: On 1/30/I received a message from Corvette Mods They were willing to extend to me a store credit for the value of one of my purchasesto show goodwill on their part.If I agreed they would have their customer service team issue the voucher ASAPI agreed and to date that has not happenednor was I able to get any response from customer service.Please reopen this case.* [redacted] ***

Date Sent: 3/14/6:09:PMThe owner of the company was consulted on this issue and no details were left outWe feel that we have made a good faith effort to try and assist the customer within reasonConsidering the order is well outside the return period, is sold as a set and a portion of that kit was installed and damaged yet we are still willing to work with him and allow the uninstalled items to be returnedWe feel that it is a more than a fair offerThe customer was given accurate information when he called and that is obvious by the fact that the parts will mount and bolt to his carHad we know that the customer did not have the correct wheels we would have advised the customer and made a recommendation to purchase the correct wheels or not install the kitIt is not pleasurable for us to receive negative complaints nor do we get joy out of having to tell a customer that they are unable to return an item due to install and or damageWe wish that it was cut and dry on every order and that simply is not the caseOur offer is still open for the customer to return the uninstalled items so he can at least recoup some of his cost.The owner of the company is well aware of this situation and does not feel that it is necessary for him to speak with the customerAs stated multiple times, the owner does not deal directly with the customers so there will not be any contact with the ownerAll decisions that were made regarding this issue were handed down from him directly.Thank you, [redacted] Operation Manager

There was no mistake madeThe kit does fit on a Zas well as the StingrayIt is clearly stated on our website listing that the Zwheels are required and the customer stated that he looked at the listing which is why he called us on 11/12/He stated in the call that he has the 19" front wheels and the 20" rear wheelsWe simply cannot take back the installed itemsWe have attached the product information straight from the GM Performance Catalog and it clearly states that the kit is for the Zas well as the Stingray and states the Zwheels will not fit with this kit This information was obtained directly from GM as it was the day he called to inquire about the fitmentThe kit the customer purchased has upgraded carbon ceramic rotors and the kit shown in the catalog shows iron rotors however it is the same kit and dimensions We are willing to offer a refund in lieu of store credit however the 25% restocking fee still applies We will NOT accept the installed items back for a returnThe call recording is attached as wellThank you, [redacted] Operations Manager

The front splitter (not bumper) you were sent was not used - we do not sell used partsIt was simply damaged during shippingWhile we were processing your replacement, you disputed your payment and the merchant directed you return the item, then granted a full refund to your accountYou provided us pictures on 9/then disputed your payment on 9/

Rivets require drillingDuring original transaction, I was told NO drilling would be required Website ad said NOTHING about rivets (which require special tools, which is also not mentioned on website)Again, inaccurately describedThe part IS also defective, as I have stated multiple times, including on my first correspondence on the day I received the splitter (06/20) The front point of the splitter does NOT line up with the front point of the bumper of the carit is off by 2" This has been mentioned numerous times, from the day I received the item.As these errors are on the fault of the seller and it's advertising, It is not up to me to pay for shipping for it's return If Corvettemods sends me a pre-paid shipping label, and issues me a full refund for the $(original cost of splitter), I will IMMEDIATELY ship back the splitter, and this matter would be considered closed Regards, [redacted]

We communicated with this customer on Friday 1/22/and informed him that we had checked our stock of the bulbs and found that all of the bulbs had marks on them that are consistent with the marks on the ones he returnedWe apologized to the customer and advised that we are issuing a refund for the items returnedWe request that this complaint be closed as resolved.Thank you, [redacted] Operations Manager

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this: I did eventually receive a refund from the company but it wasn’t until after I filed a claim with PayPal At first I disputed the charges and never received a responseIt was after days and I filed a claimThey never responded to the disputeAnd I was told I would have to drop the dispute to get a refundPayPal advised me not to do so and file a claim against the company Regards, [redacted] ***

The customer purchased an item from us and contacted us to inform us that the item did not fit and needed to return it. We sent the customer the return instructions and he responded that he was concerned the item would be returned to him because the package had been opened and per our policy the... item must be returned in original packaging. We informed him that as long as the item was returned in new/unused condition and had not been installed then he would be fine. The return arrived and when inspected it was discovered that the item had severe scratches in the surface preventing the merchandise from being able to be returned to stock. Our terms and conditions are clearly stated on the website and customers are unable to complete a purchase until they have checked the box stating that they agree to our terms and conditions. Had the merchandise been returned in new condition and could have been repackaged and sold then we would have gladly refunded the customer. We advised the customer to file a damage claim with the carrier if he feels it was damaged in transit. We are not trying to be unfair however we cannot refund an item that is essentially trash at this point.
