Only ONE knob will fit your carThat is why you made a year selectionThe newer style knob will not fit a Again, this is why you are not asked to pick the style know you want, rather you are asked the year of your car so the proper knob can be sentWe have a toll free number that you were free to use prior to placing the order if you had questionsIf we sent you the 06+ knob, it would NOT FIT and we would be having this conversation about the item not fitting instead of not looking like the one you intended to order

This customer ordered Polished Fuel Rail covers and a Low Profile Perforated Plenum coverThe customer received the Fual Rail covers and installed them on his carWhen the reamainder of his order was received he then contacted us and informed us that the Plenum Cover would not fit with the Fual
Rail covers he had already installedHe contacted the manufacturer of the Plenum Cover, not the Fuel Rail covers and he was told that their products are made to be used on factory products or with their Fuel Rail covers onlyWe informed the customer that we were unable to take the Fual Rail Covers back becuase they were already installed and usedWe offered to take back the Plenum cover and waive the 20% restocking fee and shipping charges on the item and the customer declined that offerHe feels that we should have known or informed him that the items would not work togtherWe have customers that order several parts at a time because they have more than one CorvetteThere is no way that we are able to comb through every order that comes in to double check the items that are ordered and contact each customer to make sure they ordered correctlyOur order system is automated and we do not check on orders unless there is an error code generatedWe have sales reps availabel M-F 9-to answer any questions a customer may haveWe regret that the customer is unable to use both items he ordered and as previously stated, we are willing to accept back the new/unused item, the Plenum Cover, and waive any applicable feesWe feel that we have made every good faith effort to assist this customerWe simply cannot take back a used item.Thank you,*** ***Operations Manager

I wanted to cancel the most expensive item, but the other items I still wantedIronic as it may be I need what you guys are selling. Although I am able to return the items after I receive themthat's too much of a hassle honestlywhen you can work with the customer and inform your third party that you don't need the item.If your company is not able to set up an item for shipping when it is purchased, atleast let the customers know and get acknowledgement that they know how long the shipping, and production will take

sell them myself and they could give me a better discount then what they
were offering. Therefore they would not have to violate their policy and we would have both been able to live with the settlementThey wanted me to take the what turned out to be an $loss and accept no responsibilityThey ONLY offered a 7% discount on the newer rail covers and NEVER offered any money back on the firstAn acceptable refund of $to split the cost of their mistake would be fine

Speaking to the argument of installed I guess it’s what’s considered installedThe brakes were never fully installed and used, only partially mounted to check clearanceIf I had attempted to install them the moment I received them I would be in the same position even if I was within their return policyHow would one ever know if they fit unless they partially mounted them? As I mentioned previously, when I received them I only checked to see if everything was there and in good condition, which it wasMy assumption was they would fitMr*** still refuses to acknowledge why I called in the first place which was to see if they would work on my Corvette with my wheelsAgain I stated I had a Zwith 19” and 20” wheels, not Zwheels! I think that can be determined by our phone conversationI never once implied I had 19” and 20” ZwheelsI clearly understood the listing to be used with Z19” front and 20” rear, again this is why I called making this a moot pointMr***’s offer is asking me, the customer, to take the brunt end of the loss for something I clearly feel was not my faultI have offered to purchase another set of brakes from them and pay for the chipped caliper to help offset their lossIt is very unfortunate I chose a business that will not acknowledge making a mistake and taking it out on the customerThis is something we would never do and have taken some financial hits for our mistakesNobody is perfectIf I even think we may have made a mistake the customer would come first that’s just the way we run our business and been in business for years three generations strongI can use this as an example of what not to do to a customer as we bring in the fourth generation, that’s how we hold one of the strongest reputations in the produce industry against bigger playersIf there is a question if we may have made a mistake the customer comes first as without them we have no businessOur employees are not punished for occasional mistakes again nobody is perfectOne question I have not asked is if there may be a Brembo caliper that will work on my car with my wheels utilizing the rotors that came with kit? Not from GM but from Brembo themselves? If the answer is no and Mr*** is insisting on holding his position and the owner is not willing to discuss the issue with me I guess we are at an impasseI would hope that the Revdex.com understands my position as well

Again Mr *** is being disingenuous if not outright deceitful.At any point over the last month Corvette Mods could have said return the item we'll credit your account the full amount.I believe his idea of a negotiation is to have his customers complete his form which includes their return terms and conditions (that is buried in a web link in their form) and then to say too bad you agreed to the shipping chargesMr *** has offered no other solution and has made no statement that would demonstrate a good faith effort to "negotiate" a solution.Mr ***'s assertion that his hands are tied by AMEX is untrueWe could have and still could resolve this hereAs of 8/20/the parts that were shipped in error to me are in the possession of Corvette ModsThe parts were returned in their original unopened packagingCorvette Mods can credit my account in full.I would like to note that the sky didn't fall on Ft Worth, TX when Corvette Mods received the parts without an RMA form being completed

We repsond to any and all PayPal disputes via their platformOpening a case through the Revdex.com has no affect as to how we have to respond to PayPal via their terms and conditions

*** *** I did contact the business, Corvette Mods specifically to receive information on what part needed to be ordered correctly for my vehicle. Their customer service technician informed me incorrectly. There was no way I could know I had been shipped the wrong item as the difference in sizes between the two types of parts is very small. Again due to this it led to the part being wedged into the care and once it was could not be removed without cutting it. I do still have the bottom piece that is in pristine condition.I hold not issue with the manufacturer American Car Craft (Brooke was more than reasonable and helpful) as it was an error created by Corvette Mods. This is Corvette Mods mistake to make right which they are choosing not to do. If it hadn't been for their poor techadvice Id have the right part on my car as we at this time. Corvette Mods is choosing to ignore legitimate error on their part and in so doing is placing unwarranted blame and responsibility on the customer. A customer, mind you that plans to spend thousands more making modifications to his car. Corvette Mods, I can assure you will see none of it, and every car show I attend you can be sure I will be informing people of the poor customer service one will receive from them if you do business with them. I have heard similar stories and statements from other Vette owners at the latest show that say they will never do business with them again. For the sake of $this is a "pound foolish and penny wise" way of doing business that illustrates just how myopic they are as business people
