On Dec 8th I was sent to Quest by my physician for an MRIWe told them at that time in person that we were private pay, and paid for the services before they were renderedLast week I received an invoice for $10, and on the invoice it clearly states "Payment was denied by *** of TEXAS (??) indicating patient was not covered at time of service." No kidding? We TOLD them we were private pay!! And whose insurance, exactly, did they try to file with?! These crooks are trying every method out there to get anyone's money they canSTAY AWAY from these quacksI will NEVER have another test done at Quest, everThey'll never get that measly $from me, eitherI don't pay thieves

I got billed over $for blood work that my insurance paid for because Quest Diagnostics claimed they didn't receive a checkQuest Diagnostics confirmed with my insurance company that the check was sent to the correct addressThey received an EOB from my insurance company that showed what I owed (and had already paid)I even got them to re-request the check from my insurance company twice (confirmed re-sent by my insurance)It took over months and more than calls to get this resolved and I narrowly made it out without getting sent to collectionsThis is such a horrible company and they should not be allowed to conduct business when they're treating their customers like this

I paid invoice # *** from my *** *** *** *** account on Sept14, confirmation #: *** On November 1, Quest sent a bill with huge letters saying THIRD NOTICEI called and provided all informationThey were supposed to get back with me, but never didI called again and they said that it was correctedThey had accidentally credited the payment to another location
Today on I received the invoice again dated 12/6/stating FOURTH NOTICEThe language is very threateningThis needs to be corrected immediately

Quest Tampa, Fl did lab work on 03-22-for myselfThey have not sent me an invoice for this lab workwhen I call they keep telling me it be hoursI want to see how much they rip-off the insurance company

On Dec23, I took a Quantiferon blood test for the detection of TB at Quest Diagnostics Lab on Military *** *** *** *** in Delray Beach, FLAlthough I have called and written several times the answer I keep getting are email messages from Quest saying that my test results cannot be locatedHowever, my doctor received verbal results on January 5, but never got a written copyI need the written results in order to show it to my employer and get my job back taking care of two small children and/or to go for treatment if necessaryI don't know where to turnWill the Revdex.com contact them and get a hard copy of my results for me? I would greatly appreciate itThank you

Quest Diagnostics (services performed in Westfield, NJ - not an option on your list) violated HIPAA policy by sending my medical information to a doctor I never heard of; never providing the prescribing physician with the results; and collecting fees for their services from my insurance company They are now billing me the sum of and threatening collection of that fee

My son needed his bilirubin levels checked as a followup to a questionable result at his annual physicalThe physician ordered this from the in-house Quest Diagnostics Lab at *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** ***
The Quest technician instead checked what is, according to our pediatrician who later investigated this for us, the adjacent item: a full lab work up for a Hep C positive patient, which my son most definitely is not
The doctor, DrSarah M***, was shocked to get the extensive resultsWe were shocked with a bill of more than $1300, which our insurance company understandably would not cover
The *** *** *** Primary Care office shortly afterwards stopped seeing pediatric patientsDr M*** moved her practice to *** ** and we became patients thereAs soon as I could get an appointment, I took the bill in to her, she looked into the matter and asked her office manager to contact Quest to adjust the billShe gave me

Quest Diagnostics continues to bill me, and are now threatening to send my case to a collection agency My primary insurance has paid their portion My secondary insurance has denied the claim for non covered serviceThe secondary insurance, *** *** ***, has sent a letter to Quest Diagnostics informing them that "Because you [Quest Diagnostics] are a participating provider there is no patient responsibility You can submit the claim with a more specific diagnosis code or you must adjust off the the [sic] total amount of $1,881.33."
Upon receiving the Quest Diagnostics "Third Notice" invoice today, I called to speak with a supervisor The supervisor, "Tenesha" (?sp) discontinued our call when I informed her at the beginning of our conversation that I was recording the call I have tried to work with Quest Diagnostics for months now to resolve this, but to no avail

Negative-Unfortunantly services were not rendred and the problem was not resolved after visits Their billing deptneeds to update their records in a timely manner and they need on site management to help resolve complaints They dont know what to do if problems come up and according to those there have no athority to resolve anythingand they are rude enough to try to phinegle money from patients After paying for parking and sitting for at least an hour and taking medical info(check in) they did not do labs..nothing..I feel violatedi feel like something was very wrong there

I visited doctor *** *** at *** *** ** *** *** ** *** in SeptemberI was told on the phone and at point of sale that the cost of my appointment would be $ During my appointment I had blood drawn and was not told it would cost additional or would be out of insurance, I also do not believe I authorized any charge or signed anything approving Quest Diagnostics to charge me in addition to my appointment with *** *** However, I just received a bill from Quest Diagnostics for $1,I was never presented with the cost and do not believe I signed anything, so this bill was a major surpriseI called *** *** office and was told it should be covered by my insurance and that quest should not be billing me(*** *** office also has my insurance information)However, Quest has made it incredibly difficult to try and speak to a human about this matter and has limited contact informationWhile I am aware that Quest performed a service, I believe

This is regarding Invoice # *** that was sent to me for the 3rd time from Quest diagnosticsOn 6/6/I received a letter from quest indicating that I am eligible for 100% discountthe letter advises to call *** once received an invoice and the discount will be applied to the invoiceI did call but that number will put on hold indefinitely and no operator answers so I mailed back the first invoice with a copy of discount eligibility letterI receive the second invoice and again the *** did not connect to operator so I emailed Quest regarding invoice after logging to my Quest account on their website, received no answer
today I called *** and again the unusually busy announcement played on their phone

I had two hormone level( estradiol and progesterone) test done on at quest diagnostic for which my insurance denied as non covered servicesI received an invoice of $for those testWhen I called quest I explained to them that I am willing to pay as covered or contracted rate whatever my insurance would have paid them, their response NOTwo day later, I called again hoping another representative would give me discount rate, but her answer NO we do not have any discount offer, only monthly payment planI think there is fault of insurance companies and diagnostic centers, contract states how much to bill or how much percent will be negotiated rate, but didn't mention if patient goes in-network facility they will get benefit of paying only discounted rate under certain circumstancesPlus, the diagnostic center billing or finance set up is so crazy, customer is willing to pay some amount of the billed amount, instead of taking whatever patient is willing to payThey are spending more by reprinting pending invoices, collection agency fees, call center employees pay to repeat same answer of no to customer

A separate complaint is filed at Revdex.com *** against *** ***) on Nov28th
My doctor *** *** (*** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ordered a series of fertility tests for meThese tests are beyond my knowledge and include some genetic testsHowever, I requested that I only need tests that are covered by my insuranceHe offered me some tests at the lab that will cost me but I told him I would prefer to go through my insuranceI brought these tests to a Quest lab in Lawrenceville and since these tests are ordered by my doctorI did all of themHowever, Quest billed me with $1,(Invoice No*** saying my insurance does not pay all of the costI disputed with *** however, it refuses to pay the claimed amountIf I had known the tests would cost me that much, I would not have taken the testsQuest should explain why these tests cost so much and why it did the tests without giving the patient any pr

We went to Quest Diagnostics on Eagle Creek Lane in Lexington, KY for our son's blood draw and had a bad experience with the staff person thereShe was not in a good mood when we came in for our 10:15am blood draw and was rude to us when she almost refused to draw blood from himWe had made an appointment the day before and was there minutes before our appointment timeIn the meantime, other people were in the waiting room still waiting for their drug screening/blood draw along with usWe had to plead with her as our son had his blood drawn there at the center beforeShe even made the comment that she was working there alone and didn't want to be stuck with a "DIRTY needle"We were insulted and humiliated in front of the people there when she implied that our son had some blood diseaseEventually she relented but we had to wait about minutes before the person before us came outWe were getting frustrated with the long waiting time for the person before us and in the meantime the woman didn't even come out to give us an explanation for the delayThe people there were also frustrated at the long waiting time and felt sorry for us regarding the earlier exchangeThey were kind enough to provide us their names and numbers as witnesses to this incidentWe understand that she is under a lot of pressure working alone, but her response and behavior is unprofessional, not customer-sensitive, and is not a good reason for her rudenessWhen it came time for his blood draw, the people we talked to in the waiting room were kind enough to offer their help in keeping our son still during the drawDuring that time, the woman's mood improved a little and she treated us a little better, but didn't apologize for her earlier behaviorEven then, we were still hurt by her words at the beginning of the appointmentWe had called the local office asking for a supervisor and contacted Patient Advocacy on the Quest Diagnostics website but no one has responded to us after a few days of waiting

Quest continually bills my old insurance carrier for invoices for both myself and my daughter We have given them via phone (twice) and in person (twice), copies of the new insurance carrier They continue billing old insurance and have yet to bill the new, correct carrier You cannot get through to them via phone Its an automated loop that never gets you to anyone I have submitted request for them to contact me three times via email in the last month (this is their recommended way to contact them via their website) Auto response states allow 3-business days for them to contact you back It's been a month, three requests, and I have heard nothing from them I have provided correct insurance info over and over and they continue billing wrong one I want to make contact with them in an effort to the them paid as I'm concerned that if they cant bill correctly (old insurance obviously denies payment), they will send to collections They have not sent me any bills Customer

My son went in to a Quest location to have his blood drawnWhile there he was told he had a past due amount of $so he paid the bill not knowing that I had already paid the bill for 6/16/for $and we had not yet received the bill for services on 4/The bill had been paid for 4/and when I called to confirm which payments Quest did not have they said they did not have the payment that I had made in 6/ After the women basically calling me a liar I asked to speak with a supervisor to get this taken care of I was then hung up on after telling the supervisor I was on the phone with *** *** to ask them how this is can get rectified I have sent emails which was days ago and have not received any thing from them besides an email saying they will contact me in 2-daysI called and they are closed because of the time I get off of work I get home after they are closedI have proof this payment cleared my account on June 20, I want to get this cleared up

Lab values were never sent to my oncologist at th* * ** ** *** *** *** *** despite filling out two forms to accomplish this The wrong fax number we used and it was directed to a Hopkins MD, who did not receive it either
I specifically asked the secretary to bring ATT:: to both Docters.in the event that the fax number was shared
I retrieved the results

I had some Lab work done March - Quest apparently sent the bill for the unreimbursed portion of the services $to an address that I have not used in yearsI tried going on line to resolve but the system would not take my inquiry - I then tried times to get a "live person" on the phone to resolve the issue [in the meantime Quest sent this $bill to a collection agency EVEN THOUGH they sent another bill on May to the correct addressAfter waiting on hold for over an hour a very abrupt woman said this was somehow my fault or the doctor's fault [I checked with the doctor and they have my correct address!] she grudgingly took my HSA card paymentTerrible customer serviceHow can I trust their Lab competency to be any more accurate

I have received the same bill every month for several months now for over $1, My health insurance company told me they paid the bill and all I owe is $yet I am continuing to get a bill for over $1,
I have called their number and the only two options are request a copy of your invoice pay your bill There is no other option!!!! I then got a specific number for a lady named Pat that is supposed to help with this I have called her times On the 4th call, I thought we had it resolved but for some reason I am still getting bills for over $

my daughter had a urine toxicology screen ordered by her physician Invoice ***Lab code TAMI am an insured member of *** *** *** *** ***Quest diagnostics states that my insurance denied the claim and they are billing $for a test that I can buy at the local drug store for $This is an exorbitant amount to charge for a urine toxicology screen for anyone let a lone an insured patient!!!!!I have tried many times to call and get this resolved and explain that I have insurance and even if insurance won't pay, this is not the insured billing amount that the insurance would have paid if it was approvedI am willing to pay a reasonable amount for a urine tox screen the amount my insurance would have paid and not anything more!!
