This place is a jokewent for blood work from their online offering for dollarsgreat dealthey then asked for insurance which I gave them to cover any other expensestwo months later I get a bill for and find out they charged my insurance as well!! Freaking scambait scheme then charge insurance and finally sent me to collections for dollarsBUYER BEWARE Gave one full star because I couldn't give 1/10th of one

This company has no desire whatsoever to provide a good experience for the customerIt's a very long wait to actually speak with a person in customer service and practically impossible to get thorough to a local locationWhen I arrived, I asked the receptionist if she could verify that they received the blood work order fax from my doctor's officeShe said I would have to wait until she checked me inI politely pointed out that by then it would be too late to ask the doctor's office to fax it againShe still said I would have to waitShe was not busy at the time, and the fax machine was right behind her! Just plain lazy, and rude to to it offIt was as if she took pleasure in being difficult

Charged my insurance dollars for an STD panel, advertised $with insurance as cost to patient via ***, but are attempting to collect an additional $from me plus the $they collected from insurance, sent bill to collections agency without attempting to contact me first

On May 2017, I had a wellness check with Quest DiagnosticsQuest billed me several times and constantly said my insurance did not pay their service in fullI contacted my insurance several timesThey explained to me they already paid IN FULL and showed me a paper as proofI mailed the paper to Quest DiagnosticsBut Quest still said it was not pay in full

$was withdrawn from my husbands account for services rendered I had called the *** phone number and spoke to *** (Couldn't give last name, last initial or ID #, but she stated she was the only *** in Tampa office) to have Quest Diagnostics reimburse that amount to his Debit Card as I was going to pay with our Flexible Spending Account, which he had forgotten the day of service I was told that they could not reimburse that amountSo I asked to speak with a manager, and she said "She could not keep me on hold on her phone" She refused to let me speak with a manager, ever after I told her I would contact Revdex.com if need be She told me to do so

I received a bill from Quest in June stating that I owed and outstanding balance, I contacted my insurance company immediately because I saw a claim that paid this particular billMy insurance company stated the claim was paid, so I then called QuestI informed Quest that the bill was paid and provided them with the insurance company's number so that they could verify the paymentI received the bill more times after I called QuestThe 4th time I called them and they stated it was a duplicated bill and would be removed from the system; which brings me to today 9/18/I received another bill and I am not getting any assistance with resolving the issue

Went to my doctor,he did my blood work as usual and I paid him in fullyears I have seen himmonths later I receive a bill from Quest Diagnostics for I called DrP*** and his nurse said that they sold the lab part to QuestI told them they had billed me for 511.65,she said to call Quest-there must be a mistakeI sent several HOURS on the phone-given the royal runaroundThey told me that I owed them that amount and they would sue if I didn't payNO one in the lab(it;s inside my droffice) told me that anything had changsigns-nothingI sent them letters,no response other than a collection agency(credit collection services)I have a *** *** *** ***I now have medicare part a & b and still cannot get my blood work at my doctors office because the (QUEST) have told I can't use their lab until I pay there ransom

Avoid this place: Horrible experiencedoes not return phone calls as promisedeven went to the office where they drew my blood and they said I would have to call local number, called and was transferred with long wait times before talking to live person.....then told I have to wait up to two weeks to receive my results....called the week before my doctors follow up appointment...still did not have the results when I arrived at my doctors appointmentso now I wait and hope they send the results

Turned me over to a collection agency without ever sending me a bill for services provided Paid company directly, now they send me another bill for same amount as if I've never paid the bill Very frustrating to deal with as company

Went to Quest lab in Haddon Hts NJ this morning and my paperwork was refused even though I have full insurance to cover blood work Lab tech was very rude huffing and puffing while looking at my paperwork Such a negative experience by someone who deals with the public

The employees at the front desk are very rude the were taking their lunch and instead of putting a sign outside the door or be polite and let client know that the were at lunch to come back when lunch is over the lady scream at me WE ARE GETTING OUR LUNCH! and look at me wrong we a nasty attitude I think that's very disrespectful and unprofessionalI would never go there again for anything

I had a yearly check up with a primary doctor on 2/1/which is free only for me to get a bill from quest and I was told to contact the doctor's office that the billing code was wrong which I did and this has been on-going for the past monthsI don't understand why I a still getting this bill, my insurance confirmed that I do not owe any money for the servicesQuest told me they contacted my insurance but when I called ny issurance I was told Quest never reached outThis has been so frustratingQuest never returned my calls and I have tried several times to rectify this
Invoice number; *** Lab code; *** , Bill code; ***

My son visited his physician in June/2015, Quest has sent multiple bills for lab services, the first not arriving until four months after the services were renderedI paid on Nov 28th, I paid an additional on Nov via a separate paymentI paid on Dec 19thThey continue to bill for the same services, never indicating on invoices what services were rendered, nor specific references to tests via standardized heath codes
I have been overcharged, attempted calls to customer service (***) go unanswered
I now have a new bill referencing the same June date, for another 40.00, unsubstantiated with services rendered of course

Horrible customer serviceThey do not update patient information or take the time to ensure they are billing the accurate codesBe cautious of any billing you may encounter from Quest Diagnostics and always review all details of your visit, including codes, insurance information, billing address, and charges

I have dealt with Quest Diagnostics for over yearsI am now with another care system here in Maryland that does not need Quest, as they do their own lab work right in their own buildingQuest had in the past technicians that were not quite average in using the needles to draw blood, so therefore I rarely had the same technician twice in one yearNow they are into a new way to make money with coming back and billing both the health insurance firm and also sending our a bill to the customerI was directed to go to Quest for a lab diagnostic check to see if I had any disease that caused my sudden loss of hearing in my right earThey took a copy of my Medicare and my current health care ID cardsI also filled out or pages of information that was required. That was done back in JuneTwo days ago I received an invoice for the lab tests for almost $250!! After doing some research, I found out that almost other people had complaints with this companyI have returned their invoice, another copy of my health insurance membership card and a validation from the health insurance that I am covered by them and belong to their health insurance plan

On 10/17/my insurance *** paid Quest for a bill and copay of $with a fund we have with ***Quest continued to bill us for that amount, so we send Quest a billing proof of payment, they ignored it and continued to bill us, we reached to *** and they contacted them to confirm that we did not own then any copay, billing just ignored that also and unlawfully billed our credit card with $Although multiple request have been made to Quest, Quest diagnostic does not recognize the contractual agreement they have with *** and just double bills insurance and patients

On January 5, I had a series of blood and urine tests at a Quest Diagnostics Washington, D.Claboratory location When I arrived the office, they asked for my insurance information My insurance coverage is with GEHA (for federal employees only) and I have a Quest card issued from GEHA GEHA pays for 100% of all Quest charges, at rates that are negotiated with GEHA The desk clerk took my card and obtained the necessary information from it On January 18, I received an invoice for nearly $1,stating that Quest could not submit the required information to my insurance company because they did not have it I was indeed taken aback, obviously, because they had that information In addition , the same thing happened last June when I had testing at that Quest laboratory location I received a bill for the full amount of the test costs, containing the same statement that Quest didn't have insurance information that I provided them with at the time the tests were administered and hence could not submit to insurance I was on the phone with them several times That time it took months for them to stop billing me, even though they knew GEHA would be payingWhen I filled out a complaint on their website, I got a response from a Ms***e, asking that I call her to discuss When I called, she then told me they would put the bill on hold for days, and if they didn't receive payment from GEHA by then, they have to bill me again because that is the maximum 'hold' possible What was she talking about? They bill only every days, so there is no 'hold' in the first place I told MsL*** that I did not want to see another bill from Quest because they would be paid by GEHA and they knew that already Ms***e even asked me if I gave the local lab my insurance information, as that would have been my fault; then she inquired if the person at the desk wrote down the information from the card I handed her? Outrageous Does anyone think for a minute that this lab would administer $1,worth of tests without knowing insurance was available and taking down the information from the insurance card? Fortunately, we have insurance and Quest will be reimbursed probably about $for these tests Those who don’t have the insurance will likely have to pay the $1,before the first syringe is inserted to draw bloodStill not quite having figured things out, I asked Ms***e whom to call at the test location to find out what went wrong Ms***e then told me to talk to the manager at the lab When I spoke to the lab, the responder stated there was no manager at the office and he provided me with a number in Virginia to call about complaints along with that person's name Then I realized nothing went wrong at the laboratory location Those employees have nothing to do with billing, as Ms***e had indeed indicated I had asked Ms***e to let me speak with her supervisor and she said that person would call when she freed up I have received no call and it has been more than hoursAt this point, it occurs to me, based on the complaints set forth on this Revdex.com site, that Quest Diagnostics' patient billing practices need to be cleaned up and that this company will not do so voluntarily unless required by some governmental authority or pursuant to enforcement by insurance companies of their agreements with Quest I am proceeding to see that this occurs and feel, as a lawyer, that I am particularly qualified to do so, as I can pretty much determine one or more reasons why their billing procedures are set up to do this One experience like this (last June) was enough; twice is way over the limit but I'm thankful that it happened a second time so that I can do my part in putting a stop to it, for good

I have been paying Quest Diagnostics on a monthly basis for a biopsy in the amount of $327.76; I paid $in May 2016, $in June Waiting for the last invoice of $to come in, I received same on July 29th, 2016, the invoice was dated July 18, On Monday, August 1, 2016, I receive a collections notice from *** *** *** *** dated July 28, in the amount of $ Is this against the law to put a payment plan into collections before the receipt of the invoice?

Absolutely awful serviceHad blood drawn last weekResults were supposed to be done for my doctor's appointment tomorrow, but of course they are notWasted a lot of time trying to navigate their phone system, but even when I got a human they apparently could hear me and hung upTook two more calls, only to be told they don't have access to resultsSaid my doctor should call the provider lineI tried calling it and the rude lady who answered said only that the patient line (the one I had already called) was closedMy doctor's appointment is tomorrow and I have no test resultsThese folks should be ashamed that they charge an arm and a leg and feel free to act irresponsibly when it comes to other people health

My current physician did her residency in Pennsylvania before joining her current practice in *** (where I see her)I have been going to Quest Diagnostics for blood tests on her orderUpon receipt of the first bill I discovered that Quest was billing the service to *** *** ** *** because my physician was still registered with Quest in Pennsylvania and thus my insurance company is applying out of network ratesI was told by Quest that billing follows the state of physician registrationFurthermore, in order to correct the issue and have my services correctly billed instead to *** *** *** *** ** *** my doctor would need to correct her registration with Quest
I contacted my doctor accordingly and she took steps to correct and subsequently received confirmation from Quest that the issue with her registration had been rectifiedAnd yet Quest has told me that the invoices are still billed correctlyNow, I'm being told that billing follows state
