I have *** health insuranceMy doctor ordered lab testsI went to a Quest lab to get them done, which is part of *** networkSeveral weeks later, my insurance approved coverage for out of lab tests, and Quest billed me my insurance deductible for those tests using the rates for *** membersAs to the 8th test that was denied coverage by *** Quest billed me $However, *** member rate for this denied lab test is only $Quest is charging more than times the amount my insurance would have paid for this one test$is clearly not the market rate for this test, seeing as how Quest agreed to be reimbursed $by *** for this testOf course, I had no knowledge that Quest would charge this much for that one lab test -- after all, my doctor ordered this test, and I went to *** in-network labI am willing to pay *** member rate $for this test that was denied by *** Thank you

My doctor stated that Quest Diagnostics received the order for my medical testing several times and did not correct it and re-bill my health insuranceI also have spoke with Quest several times and was told by them that my Doctor did not resend the required informationI then received the required paperwork and sent it in certified return receipt by USPS postal service, which was returned to me, so I know for certain Quest received itThey did not review itThey did not resend the bill to my health insurance companyInstead they sent it into collectionsI'am a total and permanently disabled veteran and I can not afford to pay their bill, because of their negligenceThank you for your time and consideration with this matter

I have been battling with a payment that this lab took from my credit cardMy insurance paid them already, and they have not reimbursed meI received a check in the mail to the wrong person from them when they finally said they would pay me backSo I cannot cash the checkI have never received worse customer service and was hung up on, shushed, and told I was wrong many times, when I was clearly correct

I am receiving invoices for laboratory services, that I did not authorize

It took me a total of lab visits (and an additional $in parking fees, i.etimes $4) to Carlyn Springs Quest Diagnostics Lab in Arlington VA in order to get my actual blood work and urine test completely doneFirst, my urine was "lost in transition", as I was informed by a Quest group supervisor in their central office - despite the fact that I placed it on the indicated spot right in front of the eyes of the lab technicianSecond, they had also only done half of the blood work requested by my doctor, so I had to schedule a second doctor's visit to get the full results and treatmentThird, I was directed by the same Quest central office to go and the missing blood work on a Saturday morning so that they could finish my incomplete lab work in time for my second doctor's appointment - except Quest central office directed me to go to a lab that was CLOSED on Saturday, because they had not taken the trouble to look at my paperwork from previous blood workThe fourth time, the lab technician assured me that she had pulled up all the lab orders from the computer and nothing would be missedCome to find out at my second doctor's visit, a Selenium test, requested by my doctor originally (which was months prior!) was still undone! Fifth time I went to the lab for the missing Selenium test and the same technician told me it was not in the system?! So I had my doctor's office resend the original lab order (first issued and sent to Quest on February 8th), and on my sixth visit today it was finally completedEach time, the Quest person, whether the supervisors from their central office or the Arlington technicians, all consistently claimed that it was NOT THEIR ERROR/RESPONSIBILITY and there was nothing they could do about it - it was up to me to figure it outTry imagining a more impersonal, bureaucratic and dysfunctional system "serving" people's medical needs! I will avoid Quest at all cost in the future - at least until somebody from that impersonal corporation contacts me and lets me know that their dysfunctional system has in fact followed up and fixed their many problems

Got blood work done by Quest in June Received an invoice shortly after for $The total bill was (the rest was paid by insurance)
A few weeks later I receive a notice in the mail that the insurance company adjusted their payment, and decided to cover more than expectedInsurance covered an additional $60, leaving my personal balance to be about $nowAt this time, I had already paid the original invoice of $107.26, so Quest needs to debit refund me the $difference (that they currently have)
I tried calling their corporate number, at 1:30PM on a TuesdayNo answerTried calling their Billing bumberNo answerTried calling the number for their Vice PresidentNo answerI even waited minutes on the MyQuest lineNo answer
I want my money that you have of mine, that you conveniently thought I wouldn't notice and that you'd keepYeah, thanks Quest for not notifying me by email, phone, mail, or any other way

On 4/8/16, I went to Quest Diagnostics in Shawnee, KS to have annual lab work completed for doctor visit with *** *** *** *** *** *** *** did not have the correct lab coding on lab form that was sent to Quest DiagnosticsAt visit, Quest staff advised that I had to submit my credit card to be charged for "estimated charges" for labs completed by Quest, even though I had not reviewed lab coding or charges for lab I advised I was not very uncomfortable with this process and did not want to give Quest my credit card information because I had not reviewed the chargesI was advised by Quest staff that I could not have the lab completed unless I submitted by credit card information to themI was advised by Quest that I would be able to review the charges billed to my credit card and could call them to file a dispute if the charges were incorrect and they would not charge my credit charge until charges were agreed upon by me.On Saturday, 4/30/I received the e-stateme

I was billed for a service (CPT Code *** and this service is covered at 100% based on my insurance I contacted the medical office in November and they assured me this bill was a mistake and gave me the contact information for Quest Diagnostics The Quest Rep, Andrea S*** (*** told me this bill was generated because of an internal billing issue with Quest and the medical office was not involved She told me this would be resolved ASAP and I would get a zero balance invoice I continued to get bills until July in which I contacted her again and received the same apologies I have now received another bill from Quest Diagnostics after many promises from Andrea S*** to make sure that this bill is handled internally by Quest Diagnostics, as it is a covered service and I never should have gotten this bill I am filing this complaint because I feel the company does not care about this issue that has been a problem for me for over

I tried to call to see if they had my mothers lab ordersThey dont answer the phone it now goes to a call centerI drove miles round trip to see if they had the orders and Kathy said they did but they did but it needed clarificationWe go times a year but they still need to call the doctor for clarificationThey can't look back at all the other test that go back years because they say their supervisor will right them upLater I drive back again and talk to Kathy to make sure they have the orders and clarificationShe says they doI mention to her that the office smells very bad I take my year old mother in on Saturday and they say they can't find the ordersThey then call on Monday and say they found the orders but now it is too late to get the blood work back for her appointmentWe have to reschedule her appointment but she really needs to see the doctor nowI hope she will be ok and their negligence did not cause any permanent damageI left messages for Kathy's supervisor Debbie Smolik and I have not received any callThis place smells so bad I don't know how it could be sanitary and then they lose paperworkI wonder how many people they harmed

I was invoiced for a service
I paid on Nov 8, $and they will not stop harassing me even though I providing a copy of the check they cashed They have to "look for the payment" I provided the copy in Jan and they still harass me for.payment

I have tried to get someone on the phone so that I could make my payment with two cards, to use the rest of my FSA balance and then pay the rest on my debit cardThis was impossibleI finally got a hold of customer serviceI told the rep that the Colorado office was close and she still transferred me to that numberI am incredibly disappointed with the lack of help from actual people to pay my billI will be going out of my way to avoid using Quest Diagnostics in the future

I received a bill in the mail for a lab service that my doctor ordered, and assumed the bill was simply applied to my old insurance carrierAfter not getting sufficient opportunity to contact them to resolve the issue, Quest relayed my bill to *** *** *** It was then that I contacted them, giving them my updated insurance informationHowever, upon communication with my doctor's office (*** *** *** ***, I found that my previous insurance company had already been billed and paid the balance for this lab work (performed in Nov of 2017) in fullAfter seeing multiple complaints of the same practice on ConsumerAffairs.com, I am concerned that Quest Diagnostics is attempting to scam consumers by charging them for the same bills for which they have already received compensation from insurance companiesQuest Diagnostics should never be billing consumers for lab work already paid by insurance companies, and should never attempt to scare and terrorize c

Invoice number ***
I had blood drawn for several tests on 7/5/When I received my bill it was for an amount much higher than I would have ever thought possibleWhen I compared it to my explanation of benefits from my insurance company I noticed that Quest is billing me for much more than the *** Member rateWhich to my understanding is the contracted price between the them and the insurance companyI called and spoke to Bianca and faxed over the EOB to Quest and when I called back she explained that the bill was correct however, when I used words like member rate and contracted rate she seemed like she did not understand what I meantI asked to speak to a supervisor who was very rude and smart alleckyHe kept repeating himself and even said that my bill was taken down from $to $which is incorrect my insurance paid $my bill was not taken down fro that amountI asked several times why they were not billing me at the *** Member Rate and not e

After incorrectly processing our billing to insurance, Quest finally did the correct processing months later only after I called and emailed several times, often being told not to worry about it, or that I would not be required to cover balances not covered by my HSA,, and Quest took so long that our HSA was not longer taking claims by the time it was processed, leaving a balance of I contested this bill, as it would have been paid out of the HSA account had Quest filed properly and on timeQuest representatives ignored my calls, and even hung up on me, all while stating they were "checking" on itFinally, I was told I was responsible for the 63, and now am receiving collection callsI am paying the bill, but the customer service at the company is appallingI can easily afford this bill, but Quest should be thinking about whether they can afford this kind of abysmal treatment of customersNo practitioners should ever again use this slip-shod, unprofessional company

I paid Quest Diagnostics through my doctors office on my visit 7/18/17; however Quest continues to bill me for this visit, despite the fact I have called them numerous times and even faxed them a copy of my receipt ON Quest Diagnostics letterheadThey say they are investigating this matter, yet never return my calls

I had lab work done at one of Quest Diagnostics locations in TX on 7/30/and paid the invoice by credit card and A Payment Receipt was provided to me
On 8/6/2018, I received an invoice from QuestI called Customer Service, the rep (she did not identify herself) was rudeShe asked " Where did you pay, at the lab or the clinic who referred you?", I said at the labThen she asked "how did you pay it ?", I said by cashShe immediately sounded as if she was an interrogator who just caught someone lying: " we don't take cash! "I then informed her that I paid by credit card and explained when I said cash, I meant I paid out of my own pocket instead of by a insurance coShe then repeatedly asked me "how did you pay? and "where did you pay it?"I asked her why she kept on asking me the same questions over and over again, she replied " that's because you told me you paid cash and we don't take cash!" I then asked to speak with a supervisorShe put me on hold and never came bac
