I made an appointment at the Quest location in Ithaca, NY for time sensitive bloodworkI arrived early to find the location closed, despite the fact that I received confirmations and reminders for my appointmentCustomer service was not helpful as one rep told me the phlebotomist couldn't come in that day, while another told me the location was closed for maintenanceDue to the incompetence at this location my upcoming medical procedure may be impactedThis is unbelievably unprofessional and unacceptableI would not trust the Quest Ithaca, NY location and suggest that the corporate office should review and audit the Ithaca location and the individuals who manage and work at this particular officeAfter this experience I would not trust them with medical records or lab results

I have received four separate invoices from Quest Diagnostics for a blood test I am a Medicare recipient and any billing should have been submitted to them accordingly Instead, Quest Diagnostics consistently sends me an invoice for $ I have informed them that the insurance information is incorrect and they need to resubmit claim to Medicare Customer service acknowledged the mistake However, I continue to receive invoices from them

I recently received a bill for $for blood work doneI paid the billMy insurance company sent me information that a negotiated price I was responsible for was $I reached out to the company seeking a refund since the price my insurance company negotiated was far lessI have yet to hear back and would like a refund for the difference

I was over charge regarding a billing issue I call to question about the problem and ask the customer service to correct the problem and refund me back what was owe Went online to see when I was re due my refund There sight cover up the refund amount and close out my account Looks like they are not refunding any of there customers for overcharging, the mistake on there part I just wondering have other people experience this type of problems Were they giving back what was owe to them or was it coverup There website is overcharging customers That wrong and covering up the evidence when question about it

I am writing in regards to Invoice #*** which is billing our family $for blood tests allegedly completed on February 10, tests were supposedly completed on that date, and of the are covered by our insurance (*** This compliant is directed towards the that are not Quest has been contacted on March 11, April 29, July 15, July 22, 2016, and on other dates regarding this bill Requests for supervisory involvement have been denied Requests for a company email contact to address the specifics of this case have also been denied
There are concerns that these tests were never requested by our physician, and that Quest Diagnostics is billing us without having any authority to do so
Quests only accepts telephone calls during 'bankers' hours, and their customer service wait time typically exceeds minutes This is terribly inconvenient Quest has been contacted on March 11, April 29, July 15, July 22, 2016, and on other dates regarding this bi

I had blood work done at a Quest lab in Manhattan on April 21, I have been covered by Medicare since April 1, The charge for this work should have been covered by Medicare in its entirety Notwithstanding this, Quest billed me for over $ I called them repeatedly since them and each time they said that they will check with Medicare All of my other medical service providers had no problems collecting from Medicare Calling Quest is a nightmare The menu of options does not even give you a choice to speak to a customer rep However I figured out that by pressing I can speak to a person, but always after an interminable hold period Also, Quest is unique among American businesses in that their phone system is closed for 1-1/to hours during midday so that their employees can break for lunch (and perhaps take a siesta) After many calls in which I was assured that the billing issue would be resolved, I kept on receiving invoices for the same amount and was ultimately threatened with collection action I paid the bill simply to put this horrific experience behind me How this company remains in business is a mystery to me

I have received a collection bill from Quest Diagnostics, for a Date of Service of Aug 11,
I then called my insurance company to see why they didn't pay the bill, and they informed me Quest never sent an invoice on that dateI tried calling Quest to see why they never sent the bill as they usually do, they did not provide an answer, and said the only thing left to do is for me to pay it out of pocket because it's too late to bill them and then ask my insurance to reimburse meThat didn't sound right to me, So I called my insurance back, and explained to them what they said, they said no, they can still send the bill, but it may be denied because it's been too longThey said if they did in fact send the bill on Aug 11, 2014, then Quest would have to provide proof that they submitted it on that dateTo my understanding, Quest failed to bill my insurance for payment, and now they want me to pay for it!

I brought my daughter, ***, in on 4/23/to have a blood test doneWhen we returned for our appointment two weeks later, we found our that the blood work was lost and never processedMy daughter had her blood work redone with another labIn spite of this, I received a bill in MayI called their billing office on 5/22/but couldn’t get anywhereAlso on 5/22/18, I called my insurance company since they paid part of this incorrect billI spoke to Millie at *** *** who called Quest and the doctor’s office and verified that the blood work was lostShe said that Quest is going to have to pay *** *** and that I’m to disregard the bill
I received another emailed bill today (7/11/18)My insurance company and the person Millie spoke with at Quest both agree that I shouldn’t be billed since they didn’t process the blood work

I received an invoice for service rendered in May of The amount of the invoice was about $I contacted in insurance provider, who told me that they received the bill as well, and that my responsibility was about $I contacted Quest and paid the $Quest then sent my bill to collections, has not credited the $150, and told the collections agency that I owe $(I owe $0)
I contacted my insurance company who said that Quest is not permitted to bill me for this amount and that their records do reflect my payment of $150, the total amount owed by me

I went to the lab location below and provided them my urine testI used the official bottled from the lob given me the day before and fill it with my urine at home and hand them the specimenI have also had to wait to min in the line (just for dropping the sample) and still being insisted that my turn had not been reached! then I handed them the results and left the lab, on 12/11/.After a week when my doctor did not receive the lab results for my urine test, I went to the lab a week after on 12/18/and asked them about the statusThey neither provided me with any status information about my test results nor about what happened to my urine specimen nor take another urine test from meI asked them to see what happened to my sample but they told me that they don't have this information in their lab record! (such a lie)I asked them to provide me with a manager number or someone I can address my issueThey refused to provide that eitherI have recorded the whole incident

I am not sure how this company can even show an overview score of B- I have been trying since May to get an overpayment back from Quest of $200+ I have spent hours on the phone, faxed over EOB's, etcto no avail When I ask to speak to a manager, no one is ever "available" My insurance company has also attempted to speak to them and they get the same response I now have bills that I am refusing to pay until my money is returned, and all of a sudden I am connected to a senior account rep I plan to NEVER have lab work done through Quest again

After using Quest Lab in ***, Caduring which at ALL times they take pictures of my issurance cards, I keep getting a bill showing only primary insurance was billed After complaining to local lab I'm told they have nothing to do with billing and I'm told to call an number which puts you on hold for ins I have gone online and started an account to add secondary insurance which I cant understand why since like I said they always photo my cards each timeI checked account weeks later and secondary insurance again not listedI re-entered again My primary insis *** *** and secondary *** It's my understanding that patients should not have to bill medicareIt's suppose to be done by medical office My main complaint is why am I having to do Quest Labs work? I give them my cards and they should bill all insurances I have received a 3rd notice now It says on bottom if youre using *** to submit info have done that twice now and why do they photo

For the past several weeks my office staff has been trying to contact Quest DiagnosticsThis is a reoccurring issue with this lab, and it is very unprofessional for a facility operated nationwide to not reply or contact offices they have contracts withMy office sees hundreds of patients yearly with health insurance that prefers using Quest Diagnostics and when an issue arises requiring my staff to speak to a representative or employee for client matter we unfortunately receive no responseAny company dealing for a persons medical needs should not operate this way

This complaint is regarding Quest Invoice number *** The complaint regards delinquency of a lab invoice in the amount of $1248.88, for January 26, bloodwork This bill is for work that has been covered by my health insurance, *** *** *** *** *** several times without any issues
Two representatives from my *** reached out to Barbara from Quest Diagnostics and Sunny R from Quest Diagnostics
Quest failed to submit the diagnostic code my doctor’s office provided them, to the proper *** office This was explained several times to several Quest representatives, including *** ** and ***
Quest has my doctor’s information and my insurance information They could have easily called either one for the diagnostic code, or the address of my insurance company to send the bill Time and time again they haven’t done this Instead, they mail the bill out to me to pay This last notice threatens to forward my bill to a collections agency The customer se

My primary care physician wanted me to get routine bloodwork done as part of my physicalThe bloodwork was done with Quest DiagnosticsI was assured that this bloodwork would be covered under my medical insurance as it was a routine procedureUnfortunately I still was charged by QuestI had to call Quest to try to resolve the charge (which I think was due to improper codes used by my PCP) but the individual I spoke with was entirely unwilling to try to help with my issueIt took me two hours to figure out what happened, and required a three way phone call with a representative from my insurance (Anthem)Anthem and the primary care physician made some attempt to try to resolve my issue, The Quest representative did not make any effort

My physicians use Quest Diagnostics I have repeatedly been billed for full amount of charges when my insurance company has paid a portion of the total charge I have repeatedly given my insurance information over the years and they continue to send me bills that do not credit the insurance payments or the negotiated rate I have years of health insurance claims processing and I know how to read an explanation of benefits and how to read a bill I will again take this up with Quest Diagnostics for the 100th time My main concern is for the patients who may not be as savvy as I am when it comes to insurance claims and are paying full amount of charges when they do not in fact owe as much as they are being billed

I was referred to this business because they accepted my insurance to perform a series of test, however, one particular test proceedure was NOT covered by my insurance and they never notified me prior to performing the testThey also did NOT inform my doctor who referred the test, that it was NOT covered by my insuranceInstead they performed the test and took an additional $from my bank account and billed me for the remaining $When my bank notified me that the money was deducted from my bank account in May 2018, I tried to contact their customer service representativeHowever, they have no phone prompt to speak to a customer service representativeInstead, I responded to the request as if I was at the doctor's office and was told by a customer service representative for Quest, named STEPHANIE, in May that I needed to call my insuranceSo I spoke to a representive from my insurance company named Shakema and she told me the test was Not COVERED by my insurance an

I called on 1/29/and spoke with Karen, a supervisor should told me I paid another customer's invoice through the phone system to fax something in writing and she would researchMy post date was 1/8/on my debit card, I believe I called the Quest phone automated system the Friday before and paid I keep getting bills for ...so I overpaid and paid another customer's invoice and they still have not resolved the issueAlso it takes them forever and you have to follow up to receive the lab results online...LabCorp I do not have these issues may have to change my lab

I called Quest from my OB/GYN billing office as I was leaving after my annual apt after I asked about lab prices The office uses two labs, but only knew the price of one ($104), but not the other, which was Quest I called Quest, was given a price just over 1/of the competitor lab's price, and therefore asked that my pap smear be sent to Quest I received a bill for $from Quest! They will not stand by the price they quoted for this code/lab test, even though the rep I spoke with had me repeat the price she gave me, "for the recording/review" of this call
