This letter is in response to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) received January 21, 2015 regarding your account with the University of Phoenix.  In response to your concerns, I would like to offer clarification on the status of your account and provide your official...

account history. I have researched your account and found you enrolled October 2014 in the Bachelor of Science in Health Administration Concentration in Health Management program with the University of Phoenix.  According to the Student Financial Agreement, you selected Financial Aid Plan as your primary payment option.  The 2014-2015 financial aid application was certified with an Academic Year/Loan Period: Loan Period Start Date:     October 28, 2014Loan Period End Date:       August 11, 2015 You were certified with a credit split of 12/12. This means you were required to successfully complete 12 credits and meet the calendar and instructional week midpoint of your loan period before becoming eligible for the second disbursement of financial aid funds. You began the program with the course GEN/200 on October 28, 2014.  You were withdrawn from the course as you did not maintain the attendance requirements as outlined in the University Catalog.  Your last date of attendance was November 14, 2014.  Tuition and fees were calculated in accordance with the attendance and finance policies detailed in the University Catalog available on your student website.  As you did not maintain the attendance requirements, the Financial Aid Processing Center was unable to facilitate the disbursement of financial aid funding.  Therefore, financial aid funds was cancelled with your lender.  An outstanding balance reflected on account in the amount of $813.89. The University can only hold an account for a limited amount of time and had to transfer your account to collections when payments were not received in a timely manner. The University reserves the right to apply its standard procedures to collect the balance due on your account. After exhausting all avenues for collections, credit reporting is the final action applied to a student’s account. The University understands obstacles will arise throughout our students’ educational journey.  We are committed in providing the best possible customer service and educational experience to our students.  In review of your concerns, the University has decided to waive the balance in the amount of $813.89 as a customer service gesture.  Once complete, your student account will reflect a $0.00 balance.  I wish you the best in your future educational goals.  In order for the University to remain in compliance with [redacted]t) regulations, the details of our review will not be forwarded to the Revdex.com without your written consent.  If you would like us to disclose the results of our review to the Revdex.com, please complete the attached [redacted] Release Form and fax it to ###-###-####.  If you still have access to your student website, you can submit this form electronically as outlined in the following steps: Login to eCampus:  [redacted]Click on the Program tabUnder Services, click on Request [redacted] Release and follow the instructions Once received, a copy of this letter will be forwarded to the Revdex.com.  Please keep in mind that you may forward a copy of this letter to the Revdex.com to expedite their receipt as they are requesting this to further review this matter. I hope you find this review informative regarding your account with the University. am a Registered Nurse with Bachelors degree in Nursing. I did enroll and matriculated in University of Phoenix to earn a MSN degree in Nursing Education. The process of enrollment is seamless and federal financial aid is difficult due to a very low 14% student academic success rate in the University of Phoenix ([redacted].gov, 2016). The enrollment advisor, financial advisor, and academic advisor are well-trained to draw interested student into a hole that the student would turn his lifetime decision to pursue education to a worst day ever. My assumption from my experience and educated calculation(Please email me for more information) High volume of enrollees and low student academic success rate without the OFFICIAL FEDERAL STUDENT LOAN) are the mainframe to yield University income. I strongly suggest to any interested student to be very careful on this University.

I've had my issues with UOP in the past, but sucked up the expense. This time, however, I cannot. This "school" isn't interested in the students success, but moreso lining its own pockets. On a Friday my advisor reminded me to post for attendance, I replied "thank you, will do" As of that Friday evening, the course wasn't in my account, I figured it was a glitch and waited til Saturday morning. I logged in again, because I still had a remaining three days to post, but the course again wasn't in my system, it said I wasn't in a class at the time. I immediately called my advisor, but it was the weekend and different time zones, so I sent an email asking what and why my course isn't showing. Throughout the day and weekend the course still wasn't showing. Monday morning as I was waiting til 11am est to call my advisor, I logged in and the course was magically there. No response from my advisor, but I figured he fixed the glitch. I posted and completed all my assignments before the due time and thought all was right in the world. The next morning, the course was dropped again!! Immediately called and emailed my advisor with no response. When I finally got a hold of someone there was nothing I could do, because instead of contacting the person I thought would be responsible, I should've contact IT. The email trail with my academic advisor was useless. No one was helpful and the only solution was to start the class again in a month, "you'll have an advantage on the other students", is what the financial advisor had the nerve to tell me. So now, I've lost more money and 4 weeks of a course with a good gpa. As I said, UOP is in the business of stealing from people and not to help with a persons academic goals. I rather transfer out and lose time rather than pay them another dime.
