I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for our Enhanced Services Department Immediately upon receiving notification of this complaint, I reached out to this client to resolve this matter She was not responsive to that attempt I have tried now on six separate occasions to call
and email her over an approximate 2-week period, but she has not responded to any of my attempts to contact her Accordingly, I cannot report that this has been resolved.As to the substance of the complaint, however, it is important to note that there are a number of factual inaccuracies This client was absolutely not given the advice that she claims in her Revdex.com complaint She was given a number of options and I have personally spent a few hours with her local attorney coming up with multiple courses of action to reach her goals However, she would like to accomplish things that are not consistent with the law We are certainly open to helping her accomplish her goals, but she will have to be able to prove her assertions to the Court We have further told how how to go about put herself in a position where she can prove her assertions, but she has not yet taken those steps.My door remians open to her if she would like to further discuss this, but her refusal to respond to my many calls and emails leaves this firm without a mechanism to resolve her concerns

The company was very informative with providing step by step process guidelinesThey were accessible for questions and the easy payment plan

This is early in my experience with Upright Law however, so far all has gone very
good They are jolly on the spot to make my experience as painless as possible
I have confidence in the out come will be what I expect

I m the managing attorney at UpRight Law for our Enhanced Services Department I have tried to reach this client personally over ten times in the past weeks, but we have not yet spoken.Our policy is to close files when clients become unresponsive That is why this client's file was
eventually closed However, when this client called us back an indicated that she was ready and willing to move forward with her case, we immediately waived the reopening fee and put her in touch with her local Omaha attorney She has been in contact with him as recently as days ago and they are in the final stages of filing her case We are very happy to have helped this client take the next steps towards her ultimate goal of financial freedom

So far I have had an excellent positive outlook with this firm handling a case for meI was so overwhelmed and stressed they put everything in perspective for me told me how it would be , what I had to be done and the steps to take to accomplish my goal

I would not recommend! Trust me $for a bankruptcy but they won't help until the full amount is paid Sorry, but people like us trust people like them to help resolve problems for us They don't refund money that they took from my account when they can't help me, but at the same time, they tell me to give my creditors their harassment hotline number I am insolvent, I own nothing other than a car that is very old with over 300,miles on it $over a nine month period...$a month is just a little too much who has no money and can't even afford bankruptcy And by the way, the $I paid them was not returned to me when I could no longer afford "their" assistance Instead I was told that I had spoken with my attorney, no just a paralegal or telemarketer, and my $paycheck deductions would not cover the hour I spent on the phone with them...from what they said, their lawyers cost $an hour If I could pay that, I would not be broke I do not recommend this company That is just my own personal opinion from my own personal experience, but I don't want others to get hurt

I have been fortunate to have a great team to represent me in my bankruptcy Shawn *** has been excellent and personable working with me especially since life keeps trying to throw me curves and that means so much to me Hopefully the firm will continue to work with me to so I can get the money I need so we can complete this case I highly encourage anyone who is facing bankruptcy to go with Upright Law!!! One of the best!!!

with herWhen someone tells us that he or she has changed his or her mind about filing for bankruptcy, we have a duty to explain all of the consequences of that decisionOften, that requires a conversation with one of our attorneys or a senior staff member who is highly educated about the bankruptcy processThe particular representative with whom this client spoke transferred her to the Enhanced Services Department so we could more thoroughly review her decision and and any possible consequencesDespite numerous attempts, our Enhanced Services Department was unable to make contact with this client until after she filed this complaintWhen we did speak with her,we were able provide the solution that she desired and, though she is no longer moving forward with the bankruptcy process, she is now satisfied with her result from UpRight Law

Just started the process of filing for bankruptcy, and they are very helpful

I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service Immediately upon receiving this complaint I began attempts to reach this client Unfortunately, despite many calls and emails, he has not responded to meUpRight Law, and all law firms, owe their clients a
fiduciary duty This means that we have to do what is in the clients' best interests We take this duty very seriously and this former client was given all of his options The circumstance that another attorney disagreed with the plan that was put in place for this client does not mean that this client could not benefit by following the plan that we put in place It merely means that there is a difference of opinion between two law firms as to how a given client may want to deal with their outstanding debt If this former client follows the advice of the other attorney with whom he spoke, he will still be liable for the debt He could receive calls, emails and letters multiple times a day until he pays that debt off or files for bankruptcy Due to this, UpRight Law put his case file in motion to file a bankruptcy case and that case was prepared.It is also simply untrue that this former client was never presented with a contract He was given a contract, read a verbal retainer and he agreed verbally to the retainer and signed the contract We have that contract available for his review if he lost his copy That contract and the verbal retainer both state very clearly that if you change you mind about filing your case after UpRight Law has completed work on the case, the refund amount will be determined by how much the client has paid minus the value of the work that was completed This client paid just over half of his agreed upon fees I would be happy to discuss this with him, but he will have to respond to at least one of my attempts to reach him

I am a managing attorney at UpRight Law. First, we apologize for any communication issues that this client has experienced. We take these matters very seriously and we know that great communication is part and parcel of a great client experience. That being said, it appears that
she was able to make contact with her local attorney the same day that she filed this complaint. It appears that her case is moving forward as expected and we are happy that we were able to provide her with such a large discount of her pre-filing fees.Though I reached out to this client to confirm all of her needs have been addressed, unfortunately, she was not available to take my call. I left her a voicemail and I look forward to addressing any remaining concerns when she has the opportunity to respond
