touched base with him and went through the reasons that we need the tax documentation. In cases like this, the requirement comes from the trustee who is assigned to the case, rather than our firm. Every bankruptcy is empowered to request certain documentation from the client and the client must comply with reasonable requests. Tax documentation are required. While one does not have to settle his or her tax bill before successfully filing for bankruptcy, one usually has to actually file the taxes. The client made the wise choice to file those taxes and he remains a client of UpRight Law today and is now one large step close to getting his fresh start. He is satisfied with the resolution we found.

experienced, I immediately called him and spoke with him about his case. The payment plans are set up with our clients at the time they retain our services. In this case, there was a miscommunication between the client and our customer service representative. I apologized for any inconvenience that happened as a result of this miscommunication and resolved the client's concerns. I also gave him my direct contact information so he can contact me directly in the future with any concerns.
