I am a managing attorney at UpRight Law.  I spoke with this former client about his situation last week and we were able to come to a resolution.  We apologize for any customer service issues that resulted in his frustrations.  That being said, we also disagree with a number of the...

assertions in his complaint.  For example, the fees that go into any legal proceeding are highly dependent on the amount of work that is required for that case.  When a client has a significant change in circumstances (like moving to a different state), then often work that was prepared for the previous state becomes unusable in the new state and needs to be redone.  Also, specifically in the world of bankruptcy law, local norms for fees (sometimes set by law) can account for changes as well.  Still, UpRight Law understands that this former client is in a position of need and the firm has resolved this matter with him by private agreement.  We wish him all the best of luck in his future endeavors.

informed me of the struggles that he has had thus far in the filing process and we then had a discussion about how we can get his case on file as soon as possible. We went over the remaining documents and I guaranteed him that we will get his case on file if he will get us the remaining documents necessary to prepare the petition. He is still an UpRight client is now back on track to get his case filed this month.

When we first started this journey we were given the run around due to the fact that we have no local lawyers to handle our problem. Once UpRight Law got the case they were very prompt and informative and courteous. They put us at ease and handled all our questions. We would highly recommend them.

I think this law firm is a good one. This is my first time using them. My only problem is trying to contact anyone when I need them. I now have another phone number that I will try.

My wife and I decided to file bankruptcy and after talking to upright law and having several conversations we were really impressed with how professional they were and so helpful we got nothing but positive things to say so far as we are making monthly payments till we are paid in full and ready to file . experienced, I immediately called him and spoke with him about his case. The payment plans are set up with our clients at the time they retain our services. In this case, there was a miscommunication between the client and our customer service representative. I apologized for any inconvenience that happened as a result of this miscommunication and resolved the client's concerns. I also gave him my direct contact information so he can contact me directly in the future with any concerns.
