I have had great helpful conversations. They also return calls and answer their mail. They treat me with respect and that is greatly appreciated. If you are considering BR and don't know where to begin, or what to ask. Please, try this co. I don't believe you will be dissapointed. The payment plan was a surprize and a big help! I would definitely recommend Upright Law. Everyone I had contact with was super professional and very considerate of my needs. I was impressed from my first telephone call with them. I was treated as person instead of being just another "number".

to complete his petition. We determined that the documentation that we still needed to move forward was limited to the rolling documents that need to be updated each time we cross into a new month. We further gathered some new information about his debt profile and made some decisions about how he can best be helped through the bankruptcy process. The client is now satisfied with his result and he remains a client moving forward.

The Upright Law Attorney's are very easy to talk to and worked within my budget to help me with legal proceedings, They took a humiliating situation and made me feel like I was very important to them. I immediately contacted him and addressed all of his concerns. Communication and customer service are of the highest priority to UpRight Law and if a client feels that he or she has not received the proper amount of communication, our Enhanced Service team will reach out and solve any problems that any of our clients may encounter. In this case, I did just that. This client ultimately decided this bankruptcy route wasn't the road that he wanted to walk, so took active steps to put him in the best possible position as we parted ways. I also gave him my direct contact information so that if he changes his mind again, I can be here to meet any of his needs. He is now satisfied with his result.

     Again, had we known the reason for the long period of unresponsiveness, we would have never closed the case in the first place.  Since we now know the reason was due to an illness, we will gladly waive the reopening fee and move her case forward.  I look forward to helping her out of her debt and getting her case moving forward upon her response to me.

Today, I received this response:
Good morning,
It is almost impossible for me to call you before 
5 pm while I am working. This email was sent to my spam folder and I just received it, all I am trying to do is get a refund of what I have paid. I have settled some of my debt and have decided to work with the creditors and pay what I owe through an arrangement instead of a bankruptcy. There has been nothing filed on my behalf, I have never seen nor spoken to the attorney, and I think it is ridiculous for you to keep almost $2000 from people who obviously are in need of their income to help pay their bills. I would appreciate your response and/ or feedback on this matter, I have already contacted the Revdex.com and a local attorney to assist if needed. Thank you for your time.

Dear Ms. [redacted]
     I am happy to correspond with you over email or I can talk to after 5:00 p.m.; whichever is most convenient for you.  How about a call today at 5:30?  You can reach me at my number below.
     I completely understand your concerns and I would be happy to discuss a refund with you.  While it is true that your case was not filed, we have done a great deal of work on your behalf to prepare for that filing.  You are completely within your rights to change your mind regarding filing for bankruptcy and no one here will try to convince you otherwise.  That being said, you asked this firm to start working on your behalf to move forward with your case and we did so.  You also made a verbal agreement and signed a contract stating that you would pay for the work performed in the event that you changed your mind.  It's also not true that you haven't spoken with an attorney.  In your time as a client of UpRight Law, you have spoken with at least 3 attorneys.  One of those attorneys, with whom you spoke a few times XXXXXX XXX, is a Virginia-licensed bankruptcy attorney who used the information you gave to our non-attorney staff and the answers you gave to his questions to work on your case file.  Your local attorney, XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX also called you dozens of times and stayed late on numerous occasions so he could connect with you at a time that worked with your schedule.
     None of this means that you cannot have any refund at all.  It just means that a reasonable refund amount will have to take into consideration the hours of work that we did after you asked us to start working for you.  I look forward to speaking with you soon.

I am rejecting this response because: once again I have explained that Ryan [redacted] is anot intimidating individual and as you see he refers to me as a former client. I have never experienced such ineffective and non productive service. I am going to send his initial response to local attorney so he can see that what Ryan is saying which completely controdrodicts the legal advice given to me by James [redacted] attorney in Waterville Maine assigned to my case by Upright Law. I am willing to settle for 1200.00. if this cannot be resolved with a financial reimbursement to me then there will not be a satisfactory resolution to this matter.

I did business with upright law, they filed my chapter 7, in which I did the painstaking work of gathering all the piles of necessary paperwork. They were very friendly when gathering their dough. However, when I ran into a problem of paying someone I should not have, they were rude and downright treated me like a criminal in stating they informed me not to pay back my friend. Now months later not only is my bankruptcy not complete, but I now owe the Trustee $2500, plus a possible $300 in additional attorney fee's. This company did not make my life easier in bankruptcy, now, not only do I have a terrible credit score, I am not completely filed and am an additional $2500-2800 in debt. Do NOT Hire this firm, you will be sorry!

Very attentive staff. They answered all questions asked and made me feel at ease, while going through these difficult times.

After many negative calls and letters. After continually trying to work with my creditors on making payments that I could afford. After having many doors shut in my face, I decided to make the big step/call. Going online submitting my contact information was the best thing I could have done. Within fifteen minutes I received a call from Upright Law. A friendly voice told me that he's here to HELP my situation. Brain took some information from me as transferred me to [redacted] Jefferson. Mr. Jefferson was a breath of fresh air. He not only took a weight off my shoulder, but he has me believing that there are some good after bankruptcy. efficient and comforting environment is paramount in running a great firm. As such, we regret that this client felt this way about our firm. After discovering this, I contacted him. We had a very frank conversation about all of his concerns. He told me about his troubles and he also told me about the information that he received from his new attorney. At UpRight Law we believe in providing the best possible product and this includes the collection of documents that some other attorneys may leave out. I explained why we operate this way and why the client is ultimately best served this way. After we discussed how we got to where we were, we discussed how we could go about solving his concerns. This client told me that he would be satisfied with the solution that I proposed for him. Immediately after we spoke, I followed through with our agreement and contacted him again to confirm UpRight Law had rectified his concerns. He is now happy with UpRight Law and the resolution that we came to.
