We have represented Ms. [redacted] since November. We have 40 notes of work done on her case. We even sue creditors for harassment, but this is the first time she has reported this to us. Ms. [redacted] wants to go with a new attorney, which is fine, but she is not due back the money paid us because of the work we already did. We only kept her retainer of $250. If she wants us to present her a full bill detailing that she owes several hundred she owes us, we can, but have chosen not to.

The documents required to file a successful bankruptcy are numerous and often confusing. I will continue my efforts to reach this client until her case is filed and all of her questions are answered.

I gave the clerk my number when we talk more than a month ago. I work 9 to 530. I have no more vacation until November. I can't take off and not get paid. It should not take 9 months to take care of this. They want to do Skype. I can't take off to do a SKPE call. They don't work after 530pm or weekends. They won't make any compromises. I don't like the service. When you talk to someone they say they will call back and you hear from them for months. I WANT A REFUND OF MY FEE SO I CAN TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

I was unaware of your scheduling difficulties prior to this response. I would be happy to call you after 5:30 p.m. I am usually in the office until at least 6:30 or 7:00, often much later. My previous calls were during regular business hours because that is when most people prefer to be called. I will call you today around 6:00.

After receiving this former client's response, I called her and I was able to reach her.
We discussed her case and cleared up the confusion around the difference between being prosecuted for a debt (which is not legal) and being prosecuted for fraud (which is very much legal).  She decided that taking care of her criminal concerns was most important to her at this time and decided not to move forward with the bankruptcy.
She and I came to an agreement regarding her case she indicated that she was very pleased with the outcome.

frustration felt by this client.  We sincerely apologize for our error.  The technical hang-up has since been resolved and the funds have already been deposited into this client's account.  We wish him and his wife all the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.

Just wanted to send you the email of my conversation with Ms. [redacted] as you and I had discussed.
She felt like she was never able to get the help or answers she needed. She was not sure what steps were next and what to do with docs.
I informed her that that is exactly the opposite of how we want our clients to feel so I made sure to resolve that issue. She now knows exactly how to send docs in and in a timely matter to get her case filed this month of April.
Gave her my direct number so I will always be her point of contact and take ownership of her case here. Also gave her promo code to take our courses for FREE.
This conversation is exactly what she needed to feel like we are here working with her. She said I was able to resolve all her concerns, glad I am the one working with her and that I am an "angel" for helping her through such a stressful situation.

solve her problems when she has time to call me back.     When a client becomes non-responsive to our repeated attempts at contact, we often do not have a choice but to close out the file.  This is because active pursuit of a bankruptcy requires the help and attention of he client.  To reopen a case after it has been closed will sometime result in a fee when no explanation is given for the lack of responsiveness to our attempts at contact.  In this case, we closed this client's file when more than 6 months went by without any contact.  At that time, we did not know that such a period without contact was caused by the client's illness.  Now that I know about the illness, I am happy to waive the reopening fee.  As soon as she calls me back, I will be happy to inform her of this.

I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service.  Long before this complaint was issued to the Revdex.com, I was made aware of this former client's complaint.  She claims that she received an email from a former employee saying that she would be given a refund for $300.00 more...

than the authorization states.  We have told her many times that we will stand by anything she was told by our people if she can simply forward us that email.  She refused to do so.  I then obtained access to the email account of the former employee in question and searched through his emails.  I was unable to find any email communicating a refund amount $635.00 to her.  I have called and left her numerous voicemails asking for a call back, but she has not responded.UpRight Law stands at the ready to service her needs if she is willing and able to show us her assertions about what she was told are true.  Right now, all we have to go on is the authorization that was communicated at the time, which was a refund amount of $335.00.  We refunded that.  She told us she was told she could have another $300.00 via email, but has shown us no email communicating as much and my independent inquiry found nothing to that effect.  We are here to help when she is ready to talk.

I highly recommend Upright Law! The process was so easy and smooth and any questions I had were always answered in a timely manner. Great company!

process in as efficient a manner as possible.  In this case, we experienced some delays due to a family emergency on the part of the attorney assigned to the case.  While we understand that these delays can be very frustrating, the nature of the family emergency made it impossible for delays to be avoided.  When I became aware of the full situation, I contacted a different partner attorney in the client's district and asked him to take the case so we can move the client forward to filing right away.  he agreed and we are doing that now.  We expect to have the case on file in the next few weeks and we are very happy to continue helping this client on his path to financial freedom.

I never got the help needed. I was given a local attorney in another city and not in Laredo. He said he could not help me. I wish I could get at least half my money back...
