I have paid for services in full and have had to cancel various scheduled appointments with my local, Upright Law appointed attorney four times because I cannot get Upright Law to return any phone calls or voicemails. According to my local attorney Upright Law must perform an exit call before the account is turned over to the local attorney from the virtual attorney. This call is the final step after services are paid, which I have done over a month ago. During the course of this process I have been given five different telephone numbers, none of which are in service any longer. I have asked the local attorney to reach out on my behalf in an attempt to get this phone call taken care of to move forward with filing my case. As I read the reviews on this site it seems like Upright Law is concerned with statistics and social media following so I hope that this review is red and someone reaches out to contact me. The last time I was able to make contact with customer service was early September. My experiences with them are never pleasant as they are young and disrespectful but this last time I was mocked, patronized, laughed at, and not taken seriously. That number I called is now no longer valid. the Court to defeat it. No lawyer can defeat an order of garnishment in a case like this without actually filing the bankruptcy case. Our policy is that we will file the bankruptcy case when the client pays his or her fees. There are myriad reasons for this, but ultimately they all can be boiled down to the reason that we must behave in a manner that is beneficial to all of our clients. If we were to file cases prior to payment, we would quite simply go out of business. We reached out to this client to offer her a solution for this issue. Unfortunately, she decided to move away from the bankruptcy process and go forward without any protections or representation. We were able to solve her most pressing concern and we parted ways in a manner that both parties found satisfactory. The issue was resolved and we wish her the best of luck going forward.

I am not finished filing with Upright Law however thus far Adrian has been very helpful in answering any questions. I have and as so as I finish filing I will update my review probably to a 10.

So far they have been great. I am about to make my last payment.Every time I have called my lawyer he has answered my questions. Waiting for the next step.

My son got a lawyer for a bankruptcy out of New Orleans. This law firm is connected to the one in Chicago. Her name is Andrea [redacted]. My son paid her fee and never heard from her. His wages have since then have been garnished. I tried to get in touch with her but her in box is full. I got a hold of the NO office and the Chicago office. I was told by both thst they would help. NOTHING. My son is out over 1000.00 dollars and no help.

Excellent and timely service, Ron has been very respectful and kept me informed every step of the way. I truly recommend uprightlaw to anyone who is going threw a difficult time.

I paid Upright Law $1585.00 to help with a legal matter. After just a few phone calls they said they could not help me. I asked for a refund of my money and they agreed and said they would refund maybe $560.00. I paid over a thousand dollars for them to say they could not help me.. DO NOT USE UPRIGHT LAW. The attorney that was assigned me was Gwen [redacted] and she did have my best interest in mind and this review in no way reflects on her.

I would highly recommend upright law to anybody that's having a debt problems very fast and go's over every solution to fit your means

worse law firm ever, pawns everything on two bit lackeys in a call center. then harasses you for more money months later in violate of [redacted] regs. of course youre gonna dispute w your bank..this is fraud. breach of contract-does not do what paid to do.

I have been waiting to receive a refund since December 29th. I was told my payment would be returned after I was sent an email requesting I verify my checking account; which I have yet to be sent. I was also told if an email was not sent a check would be mailed to me. I am now being told I will have to wait 30to45days for my money and I am worried that I am the victim of a con. I hope I can get help to receive my money back
