We did not talk with Mr. [redacted] last week as he states above nor have we talked with him recently.
We are not home from 0500 to 1800 hours Pacific standard time so we missed the call from Mr. [redacted] but he left us a voice mail on our home phone today 9-8-15 asking us to call him back.
His reply above states he is confident of a resolution soon. That statement from Mr. [redacted] is reassuring and a bit relieving after all the delays and complaints to date.
So I will be making every effort the morning of 9-9-15 starting at 0800 hours eastern standard time to call Mr. [redacted] and agree to finalize our case and get it to the courts without any further delays. I would be very grateful if Mr. [redacted] can get this resolved and settled as he states in his reply.

I am the Managing Attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service. I spoke with this client regarding the remaining documents today. The client let me know that he would be sending in the updated pay stubs necessary to file the case today. He did so within a few hours of that conversation and we are now in the process of scheduling his reviews. His case will be filed in the next few days.
Additionally, I apologized to the client for any lack of communication or miscommunications that may have resulted in any delays or frustrations for him and his wife. He was very receptive to the apology and was happy to get his case back on track. We now consider this matter resolved and we are happy to be able help our clients accomplish their debt relief goals.

Very helpful. I hate that I need this assistance, but I am thankful that I can get help by a very friendly and helpful account!

1st have the time they are saying I was an client they were just accepting funds from my bank account, they were being paid bimonthly and the last payment came out in 8/2013, after they were paid in full in 11/2013 I explained I believed I made too much money and asked they just hold my case because my job was threatening to close and this occur in 4/2014, due to being laid off I decided to place bankruptcy on hold now in financial distress having no income and asked for an refund less 350 dollars which I was told would be an late fee for not filing after paying, and was willing to accept that fee for papers copied and telephone calls taken but the represntative [redacted] I spoke too tried to incinuate that the only moneys I could recover was court cost which I disagreed with, he attempted to state that most of the work was done but how without my information never submitted to their office, with no filing in court and no attorney touching my case other then the initial counselling when I signed on with them which was free now that they have my funds they don't want to relinquish them period and he gave me an million reason why he felt his company was justified in keeping 70% of what was paid again I disagree MY CREDIT IN MY PRESENT FINANCIAL STATE IS THE LESS OF MY WORRIES AND that's why I wanted an refund and to place this action on hold

We will happily file your case as you seem to still need to file bankruptcy. Follow through with what you hired us for. There is no refund beyond what is being offered.

I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service.  Immediately after being notified about this complaint, I contacted this former client and we discussed the following:
Law firms are governed by a great number of laws regarding representation and the treatment of funds...

that are paid to the firm.  Because of the complexity of these laws and the need for the law firm to stay compliant with these laws, sometime clients who ask for refunds need to be a little patient while the firm goes through all of the necessary steps to make sure all of those laws are satisfied.  The average refund time is approximately 10 business days.  Also, not all members of a law firm are authorized to move the money in the accounts owned and operated by the law firm.  We're very sorry that this former client felt frustration at having to speak with multiple attorneys about her case, but the need to talk to attorneys at a law firm is simply unavoidable when a client wants to make significant changes to her case file.  The refund is being processed right now and this former client was notified of this on the same day that she entered this complaint.

This group is really dedicated to the clients, they will take the time to explain each step and if you still have questions they will go the extra mile to help you, if you ever run into a problem with a creditor they will stand up for your rights and they will do everything in their power to protect your dignity. I am more than happy with all they have done for me and I would recommend them to anyone who is seeking a straight honest compassionate representative that honestly understands and cares about you as a person first and a client second.
