We were very pleased with the service we received from Uptown They did an extremely efficient job - they were in and out of our home in one day They cleaned up very well following the service The team members were all polite and professional We would definitely recommend them

The team arrived promptly and were clean, courteous and informative They inspected all of the areas I had questions about and made recommendations They also noticed an out of code situation with my water heaterAll needed repairs were made quickly and cleanly
The only complaint I would say I have is the pricing was more than I anticipated for the repairs I needed However, I did not do any price comparisons with other companies so I don't really know if the price was out of line or notThey gave me quotes ranging from "band aid" to full on repairs and guarantees before starting any work, allowing me to choose the options that best fit my needs and pricing comfort

Their annual maintenance program has been a great service / value for the costs
Uptown does an excellent job at customer satisfaction and keeps us informed and up to date with their schedule

They are so helpful and always pleasant to work withThey have ordered and installed the boiler, hot water heater and two mini/splits for our old (1926) homeWe could not be happier with their service and prompt response to our every concernAll of the guys who have come to our home have been extremely polite

Despite being a "happy home club" customer for a while, Uptown Heating and Cooling has let us down for the last timeThis year, our "happy home club" AC inspection didn't come until August despite temperatures hitting the 90s in JuneWe've also had two occasions within the last two months to need emergency serviceIn both cases, Uptown's "Fast Service, Hours" and "Fast, same day service" was non-existentIn both of our emergencies, we ended up calling other services for help and received same day serviceThe first emergency involved a leaking toilet that resulted in a collapsing ceiling belowThe earliest Uptown could send someone was days later (apparently the priority service guaranteed by being a club member doesn't really exist)The second emergency involved the on demand water heater that serves both our hot water and our radiant heatThis is the system that was supposedly inspected each year as part of our "happy home club" heating inspectionWe called three times on Sunday when we discovered we had no heat and didn't get a call back until p.mSunday nightThe Uptown Heating caller still couldn't guarantee service that eveningThank goodness it's not the middle of JanuaryWe've now learned that our water heater had three internal filters that had not been inspected or cleaned as part of our "happy home club" maintenanceThe resulting water clog may have affected our ignition system, which is being replacedNeedless to say, these happy home club members are no longer happy

I contacted Uptown Plumbing Heating on our Toilet, that keep runningI'm years old and not in condition to work on itUptown Plumbing repaired the problem in less than half and hourThe charge for placing Three (3) Components into the Toilet came to $ This was way out of line for repair, no matter how you look at it Stay away from this operation

Easily got an appointment on the calendar that met my needs Plumber, Dan P., arrived within time window and explained all of my options for my water softener problem He installed a new unit and removed the old one (out the back door and through the snow and through a gate!) without having to haul it through the house I have worked with a couple of other plumbing companies recently, and this was by far the best experience I have had!

Thank you for the opportunity to meet and review the drain cleaning services that you received on February 2, I'm sorry to hear that you had a separate sewer line back up four months later
When the service was performed on
February 2, the technician assessed that it was a main sewer line issue and provided an estimate to clear the drainThe contract was signed by ***
The drain technician performed the drain cleaning service on the main sewer lineHe was able to remove some roots from the line and was able to get water to drainOn the invoice it states that there was a problem at around 30' to 40' outThe technician verbally recommended having the sewer line inspected with a video camera and the service was declined
With the repair made, there is a 30-day warranty on the drain lineIf the sewer line had backed up within the warranty period, a technician would have returned at no charge to re-clean the main lineThis would cover clearing anything that was put down the drain, or other variables that can cause a back up
Customer satisfaction is important to usWe are extending a refund for the amount paid for the service

They did not do their job they were paid for and it backed up about days and when Tony was here I had the same thing done about years ago and they fixed it but did not need a camera to do so! I have a huge mess to clean up and they should pay for the loss because they did not do their job! I am the owner of the house and paid the bill and a check was sent to the wrong personThere is no such person as ***! They also said it was feet to the street and it is only and they also said I had a broken line and I didn't have the funds to fix that or to pay to have them put a camera down, I also had to ask Tony to leave my house 3,times before he leftThe person was only here for about minutes to clean the drain which I thought should take longer! We have worked with Uptown on two major projects: installation of a mini-split system a year ago and now the installation of our a boiler and water heater on September 30, First of all, Uptown understands old homes and ours at years old is no exception We have great confidence in their assessment of the task at hand and the appropriate steps that are necessary for the successful integration of a new system into an old environment Andy and his team did an outstanding job on the boiler and water heater installation this past week They, and all of the folks at Uptown, are a pleasure to work with

Michael F just installed a new water heater and fixed a toilet in my almost 80-year-old homeUptown has expertise in older, urban homes and Michael was an expert at everything he didI am very pleased with the work, the education that he provided, and his work styleI now have a gas water heater in the furnace room as opposed to an electric one in the laundry room - something that the company that installed the electric one years ago said couldn't be doneI'm loving the new configuration and am looking forward to different utility bills

Uptown PHC is a terrific company and we use them exclusively for all our plumbing, heating, and cooling needs.Yesterday (July 20, 2016) our AC stopped coolingUptown sent out an HVAC Service Technician by the name of Aaron StokesWe expected an expensive disaster - like a new compressor, but Aaron calmly went about his business and discovered the problemApparently a bug had interfered with unit's on-off switch - dying in the processHe removed the bug's body from the switch, and the unit began to work again just fineProblem solved and no huge bill

very professional, arrived on time and work very competently and cleanly
