Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Inc.

My argument with Uptown Heating and Cooling is with the scare tactics they use, mis-information they circulate and dis-service they do to customers. Their service contractors put folks against a rock and a hard spot and will force them to shut off working equipment and "red tag them" to frighten them into purchasing new furnaces.

Sean was knowledgable, thorough,friendly and patient as we asked several questions.

When my Inspection company failed to note several plumbing & venting issues I was left with illegally vented furnace/hot water heater, low water flow and unable to take a shower for the 1st 6wks of owning my home. With no help from them or the home warranty that was part of my purchase agreement I was at my wits end.
I called Uptown Plumbing on a Tuesday and spoke w/Sara. She gave me various day/time option and let me choose what worked for my schedule.
On Thursday morning Daniel & Austin showed up exactly as scheduled and got to work. After they had conducted their walk through & testing they gave me a list of issue they had found. Some I was aware of and some I was not. They explained exactly what was wrong, why it was wrong, and what they could do to fix it. They gave me 6 options to choose from for work they could perform with no pressure to purchase. I choose my option and they started work. They kept me updated through out the day of their progress and when they were complete. I arrived home to a clean house w/no trace of them being there except all my issues where gone!!
I have now recommended them to every person I work with and all my family members. I believe I have found a company that I can trust and will use them for any plumbing, heating, and cooling needs I have in the future.

This was our first experience with Uptown Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc. We have used other companies in previous years and Uptown surpassed them all in every aspect. From the time we were first contacted to confirm the arrival time of the technician right down to his departure. The professionalism and engagement for informing us of the condition and progess of repair for our furnace was exceptional. The technicians eye for detail and skill in describing what repairs were needed and why in simple terms was refreshing. Based upon his conversation, we knew immediately what was required, without feeling like we were being over served or taken advantage of. We would recommend Uptown Plumbing Heating and Cooling to anyone needing responsible and caring service.

The technician was professional and knowledgeable. When finished, he discussed his findings and offered a few suggestions. He was on-time and completed the work in a timely manner. I couldn't ask for better service.

The hot water spigot did not turn in my bathroom sink. Uptown was able to schedule a repair visit quickly. The technician was helpful and knowledgeable. He was careful and neat while doing the repair. He informed me of costs and there were no surprises.
Everyone I worked with was polite and efficient.

Per phone call with the company: "We refunded [redacted] for the coil that was still under warranty. We are unable to refund for the labor that was needed to install the coil (thus the difference between our price of fixing and the coil price) we stand by our $487 refund to the customer"

Uptown Technician was friendly & efficient. I would use him again.

Uptown did a wonderful job putting in a new boiler & tank to replace our 97 year old boiler. Professional, courteous & thoughtful, Rob made a complex set of decisions understandable.
The crew of Justin & Wayne (and Mikan) started at 6:30 AM and worked until 5 PM on a Friday night to make sure all was working well. This winter will be the true test but so far their dedication to making it work it has been impressive. Tom Helling 11/7/16

This is my second encounter with Uptown Plumbing and Cooling and I wish there were a way to give 11 on the scale of 10. They are doing EVERYTHING right. Outstanding customer service before, during and after the event. I highly recommend becoming a Happy Home Owner Club member, the rewards are substantial. Total piece of mind around my fairly new boiler, water heater and plumbing needs. This is a reliable and very well run company.

Jason [redacted] was outstanding. He assessed a problem other plumbers could not, discussed with me all the options, and I am sure helped me chose the best one. Then he fixed the problem and installed two new water heaters in my duplex. All the while dispensing invaluable information about things work and how to maintain the system in the future. Along the way, he saw other small issues, and cheerfully tweaked and adjusted until all systems were go.

It was a pleasure.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Uptown Plumbing. Master Plumber Phil and technician Austin were both very courteous, knowledgeable and completed the removal and replacement of our water heater in a very timely and professional manner.

A new boiler was installed a couple of weeks back and much to my surprise Uptown Plumbing and Heating called to schedule a quality check on the installation. Pat arrived on time on a very snowy, slippery morning. As with all their employees he was professional, personable and thorough.

Super friendly service. Arrived on time and gave a clear explanation of the problem. The quote was reasonable and he completed the job that afternoon. Bo was the plumber. He was very professional and friendly. Would recommend to family and friends.

Excellent service and very informative. Al was efficient and patient in explaining my options. He also introduced me to the "Happy Home Club' option. Naturally, I thought that the Happy Home Club should somehow include doughnuts and coffee. Something to think about, Uptown. I will switch my business to Uptown because of their professionalism and charitable considerations. They're the best!

Jason is exceptional...he was very experienced, knowledgable, professional and honest about furnace and humidifier repairs & replacements needed. He completed everything with high quality, thoroughly explained the work and left a good written roadmap of ongoing maintenance areas needed to ensure high quality performance.
