Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Inc. was beyond helpful in our time of need. These folks truly give patience, clarity and wonderful assistance during our moment of home ownership crisis. They are the first to admit they are not the cheapest in the industry, but they stand behind their work and that peace of mind in my home repairs is exactly what my husband and I are looking for - we will never go back after this experience. The team that did my boiler install was great. They knew their products and how to fit it into my 105 year old house. They were very professional, with each other, and with me. They answered all my questions. They did a great job of cleaning up when done. And they had the project done ahead of schedule.

What a rip off. Our trusted plumber is no longer available and we have a dripping kitchen faucet. In the interest of conservation we thought we should fix it. We replied to an ad in the mail for a discount on services from Uptown Plumbing. This is nothing about the specific plumber, but of their practices. He assessed the situation and told us we could choose between 5 options of repair ranging from $569 to over $1000. Needless to say we sent him away without the job, and had to pay him $69 for the visit. Since we described the problem over the phone to them it would have served us better to be honest with how they price their work and we would not have wasted $69 and an afternoon for the visit

I've made appointments with Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling 3 times. Two of those 3 times, I've been called at short notice and asked to reschedule to another day. The first time this happened was for a boiler tune up a couple of years ago. I got a call asking me to reschedule after I had already left work to go meet the technician at my house. I asked if there was any way the tune up could still happen that day, even if it was later than the original window and, after speaking with a few people, I was able to be accommodated. It was a frustrating situation to have to deal with, but I was ultimately satisfied with the work performed.

A couple of weeks ago, I made an appointment to have my boiler & water heater tuned up on Tuesday, October 11th. Today, Friday, October 7th, I received a call saying that all appointments need to be rescheduled next week because the technicians will be at a state-wide training. Why wasn't this on Uptown's radar earlier? Available appointments that fit my schedule were several weeks out and given that this is the second time Uptown has asked to reschedule, I've decided to use another company even though they are more expensive.

Again, I've been pleased with the service provided by the technicians, but repeated appointment rescheduling makes Uptown unreliable and difficult to do business with.

I was very pleased with the job that was done at my home. Had a new bathroom faucet installed and it was completed in a timely manner. Jason was a very pleasant guy.

Excellent service

Had my AC tune up and was very thorough and informative. No pressure to do work but received a greater understanding of the functionality of the system and what might be my next steps should my 21 yr old system have issues in the future.

The technician (Tom) was very professional. He explained the work he was doing and provided options for problems he found. When he came across a plumbing issue he wasn't qualified to address, he promptly scheduled a plumber to come out.
