Allan came to check our boiler which was not keeping our house up to temp He was very polite, listened to the reasons why we needed to have him here, and went about
his business of diagnosing the problem He has been here before to do a tuon the boiler and did a great job that time also

Uptown is great! My wife noticed a small leak in the ceiling of our recently remodeled bathroom and so I called Uptown to have one of their plumbers come to diagnose and fix the issue Now, in hindsight, it makes perfect sense to me, but I was initially pretty surprised by how polite and cheerful Shannon, the Uptown employee who took my call, was in getting the appointment scheduled Just a nice person who clearly takes pride in her job and does it well.\r\n\r\nLuckily, they had a plumber available the same day and so the plumber, Bo, showed up a few hours later I suppose all I can really say is, wow, like the girl on the phone, Bo was extremely polite and took quite a bit of time to diagnose the somewhat unclear issue properly As it turned out, a toilet (not the shower as we suspected) on the floor above and a bit over hadn't been installed properly and started leaking Bo pinpointed the issue for us and clearly told us how it should be fixed and the charge to do so As the charge was reasonable we told him to proceed \r\n\r\nAfter an hour or so I came back to check in on Bo and he was finishing up Embarrassingly, he was actually cleaning the toilet better than it was before he had arrived I told him that I was impressed by what a nice job he was doing and he told me the story about how, when he interviewed with Uptown a couple of years previously, he was asked many questions about how much he believed in giving customers "world class service." He said he was surprised by these questions but excited to be part of a company that put customers first He said that keeping customers happy is a core part of Uptown's philosophy and that it makes working at Uptown a lot of fun Bo asked two or three times to confirm that I was happy with everything and then made clear that they stand behind their work and that I should call if there are any future issues Who expects this kind of service? Not me.\r\n\r\nI've had quite a bit of work done in our home, and I am probably more price conscious than most That being said, Uptown's prices are particularly reasonable given the quality of work and first-class service.\r\n\r\nIn any case, it's rare to run into a company that does business like Uptown They are good people who treat customers as they'd want to be treated and do top-notch work for a fair price Importantly, they stand behind it \r\n

Bo did an excellent job diagnosing the problem with my water heater and exploring all the options to fix it He explained the different reasons that may have caused it to stop working He was able to call a contact of his that had more experience with my model to double check that he wasn't "missing anything" when he was narrowing down what the problem was
Bo was very friendly and knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to me I was very please with his service

Jason did a nice job in follow up of a hot water heater that got fixed and then stopped workingInstructed me on some maintenance issuesUptown isn't inexpensive, but they do nice work

From the first call through to the completion of the repair Uptown was an ideal company to work withI called with an urgent plumbing issue and not only did they handle assigning a repair tech before their opening hours but they had the tech at my house within hours of my original call! So impressiveStephanie was so very helpful in making this happen
In addition, I really appreciated Bo B's professionalism and knowledge in solving my plumbing dilemma Bo made recommendations that were helpful and he came up with an option I didn't even know existed and it has worked like a charm! A big thanks to Bo for coming up with a great solution

My water heater needed to be replaced, and Bo was the plumber that did the work. He was very pleasant and efficient, and did a great job! I would highly recommend Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, and ask for Bo!

Uptown recently completed installing new furnace and a/c.
From scheduling initial consult appointment thru install, everything has been handled with professionalism and without issue. Technicians were polite and communication throughout the project was excellent.
I would highly recommend them.
