Muy placentetera y recomendable la comunicacion, el servicio y el pofesionalismo como trabajaron conmigo. Estoy muy agradecida

Review: I was trying to consolidate all of my student loans-federal and private. After calling USSLS I spoke with [redacted] who made it seem clear to me that they would handle the consolidation of my federal loans at the cost of $499.00 then after that is done the private loans can be consolidated at no cost. My federal loans did get consolidated however when I called back about getting my private loans consolidated they sent me an email with a link. From there I was able to find a credit union that would handle the consolidation at an undesirable interest rate and I would be doing the consolidation not USSLS. I was under the impression that they would handle consolidation of both federal and private student loans for the fee of $499.00, otherwise I would not have them perform the consolidation because the federal loans could have been consolidated for free by a government entityDesired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $499.00 that I payed because I think I was charged the fee after being given the wrong impression

Hi [redacted],

Review: I thought this service would lower my interest rate and provide forgiveness after 10 years (np work). I filled out the form for myself and spouse (partial completion). They ([redacted]) said that they would bill me for $199 for 3 months for their services and then start the process. I called the next morning (9/30/15) informing that my spouses information was not completed and signed because I discovered that she was already on a plan. So they agreed to cancel her account. But they said that they already started the paperwork and sent it out, so they charged her $99 for that. On top of that, they bill me for 2 payments of $199 the next day. I called and was apologized to for the mix-up and they put it towards my balance. I explained that my spouse didn't need the service so ([redacted]) said to send the document back (unopened). I did and asked that that $99 be refunded. She call back (after it was sent) and said that they couldn't do that. I then told her to close my account. She said, well, give our service a try since you've already paid for it. I told her that I didn't want to deal with the monthly fee. She said that wouldn't start until mid January. However, they billed me $39.99 on 12/16/15. So I've been calling and calling, with no solution. Finally, I went to their complaint department online and demanded that they cancel my service effective immediately (1/7/16) with no further deduction. I received an email response on 1/8/16 stating "I will cancel your monthly program of $49.00 effective today." Where'd the extra $9.01 come from? I replied, "No. It is $39.99"

I checked my account this morning (1/9/16) and noticed that they've deducted $199.00. "What was that for?"

#HighlyFrustratedDesired Settlement: This complaint will be satisfied once I receive my $199.00 (that they took without authorization) back into my account.

Review: I was contacted by a gentleman from this company who misrepresented his company as the federal student loan company about refinancing my federal student loans. After taking an initial charge of $99 from my bank account to start the service of refinancing my loan through what I thought was a reputable company. They took another $250 from my bank account for the first initial payment on 3/17/14. I then received a letter from the real fedloan servicing company that told me my payment would be starting on 4/24/14 of a different amount than that told to me by the man on the phone. When I called the number on the bill I had just received the woman on the other end of the phone told me she had no record of any of the money being paid to them and that she had no record of any refinancing being done to my accounts. She was able to refinance my loans and told me that there are several third party fraudulent companies charging people hundreds of dollars to refinance their loans and misrepresenting themselves as the federal loan servicing company. I found the number of the first gentleman I talked with and called him to stop him from taking out the next $250.00 payment. He informed me that the money would just go to collections if I did not pay it. I then froze my bank account and I am trying to dispute the charges that have already come out of my account.Desired Settlement: To have all the money refunded to me that this fraudulent company drafted out of my bank account. I also want them to have to represent themselves correctly or be shut down. So this same thing doesnt happen to someone else.

USSLS services have been more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure you understand your loans, the payment plans, and the options you have to save. They are committed to you personally, will handle the federal government phone calls that make you wait 47 minutes for someone who can't even answer your questions, and file the complicated paperwork accurately. They know what many don't, and will tell you what many won't. They have been nothing but professional, courteous, and pleasant to deal with.

Review: I contacted USSLS for a consolidation process of my student loan 7/7/2015. I spoke with [redacted] about reducing my monthly student loan cost from $174 to a low monthly payment of $49. Come to find out after everything was signed and I actually had time to review the Document Preparation Agreement, the $49 was part of a benefits package they were offering me without my knowledge. I was at work when I was going through with this transaction and I told [redacted] that I would have to get back with him later to sign the required documents but he

took advantage of my urgency to get back to work and told me the process would only take ten minutes and I could do it over the phone. I didn't realize the information he rushing me through was a legal scam and would be no help to me whatsoever. I have only paid $99 so far and the plan is setup for three more monthly payments of 196 every month on the 7th. These tactics of rushing people over the phone using DocuSign are sickening. I went to cancel my Document Preparation yesterday at www.mysupport.help and it wouldn't let me because it said I had an invalid phone number. I tried calling the agent [redacted] about that matter and left a message but he didn't get back with me and hasn't answered the phone all day.Desired Settlement: I will require my $99 dollars refunded and cancel any future payment from my card since I was mislead on the $49 payment which is actually a benefits program that kicks in after $687 is paid. Especially since this is only two days after my order and I already tried to cancel on 7/8 which is one day after the order.

[redacted], We are sorry to hear that you were not in complete understanding of the program. We are the processing company for the company you enrolled with and [redacted] is not one of our representatives. We have contacted their management to ensure that they follow up on this phone call and use it as a training opportunity. The reason the support portal said invalid phone number was due to entering (-) in between the numbers, as you can see the phone field has a notation stating to enter phone number without the (-).

Review: I am a recently graduated college student. I have gone to more than one college, so I have more than one student loan in my name. I received information about USSLS from the school I graduated from in regards to helping me consolidate my schools loans. I contacted the company, and at first I was impressed at their professionalism and willingness to help. However almost a year later, they have still not helped me consolidate my student loans. They are claiming that they are charging me fees until they receive my income and tax information to base my payment on an income amount that I can afford. I don't know who is in charge of receiving said information, but I know that I have faced said documents twice from my work fax machine. I filed a complaint online (because you can never call and get anybody... They request you file a complaint and they'll get back to you) and had to wait 10 days to hear back from them. Unfortunately the first time they called I was at work and couldn't call them back (I work at a hospital 12 hr shifts) When I did try to call back my representative I was assigned, she never called me back. In one day I think I called about 10 times and she never returned my calls. I contacted my credit card company regarding the disputed amounts this company had decided to charge, unauthorized mind you, and they still have yet to hear back from this company as well. I want future people thinking about using this company to seriously reconsider because it is a scam and they are only out to take your money, not to help students with their loans. Thank you for taking the time to look into this matter.Desired Settlement: I want the company to end all further ties to me. I want no correlation to them what-so-ever. I would also like all money that they have charged credited back to my credit card.

Review: In September 2013, my husband used your company to consolidate his federal student loans and then made an agreement with one of the USSLS representatives that completed paperwork would be submitted (by USSLS) in order for our overall monthly payment to be reduced. We payed around $400 for the consolidation and submitted the completed application for income-based payments. Here are my complaints:1) The Consolidation did happen...3 months later and only applied to one month of payments. 2) I spoke to a Department of Education representative today (because for some reason our payment went up again) and she informed me that consolidation is a FREE service UNLESS you go through a third party. Now, I admit the blame falls on my husband and I for not properly researching this issue. 3) The agreement was that we send the completed income-based payment form to USSLS and they would handle the filing. However, I have since learned that the paperwork was NEVER filed, which is why our payment went up yet again. And having gone through all of the complaints filed with the Revdex.com regarding this company, I realize our situation is not unique. So, since USSLS was in breach of our agreement and verbal contract, I am requesting a full refund and an apology. Thank you, Mrs. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a full refund in the amount of $400, and I also want a formal apology. USSLS knowingly breeched our agreement and should have to pay restitution. A few hundred dollars may seem trifle, but to a young family struggling to provide basic essentials such as food and diapers, it is an extraordinary amount.

[redacted],

We have researched your complaint, regarding USSLS not

fulfilling our contractual obligation to complete the document preparation and

submission of all your federal loan documents.

After speaking directly with the Department of Education, regarding your

file, we have discovered your complete documents were received and filed for

consolidation. The details of your file

are:

Application date submitted to USSLS: 9/6/2013

Proof of Income Documentation sent to client: 9/6/2013

Proof of Income Received From Client: 9/16/2013

Application Documents Filed Electronically With Department

of Education: 9/18/2013

Proof of Income Mailed To Department Of Education: 9/18/2013

Proof of Income Processed by Department Of Education:

10/10/2013

Consolidation Completed 11/1/2013

Assigned Service Company: [redacted]

In the details of your filed complaint you mentioned that it

took three months to complete the consolidation. According to our written agreement we clearly

state it can take up to 90 days to complete your consolidation, it is dependent

upon the government and the current loan holder. In addition, we pulled the recorded phone

call and in that phone call your representative told you 45-90 days from the

time of submission. Your consolidation was completed in less than 60 days from

the day you applied with us and 45 days from the day it was sent to the DOE.

In addition, your service company has the right to request

proof of income again at anytime. Sallie

Mae often time will do this. Upon

receipt of your loan to service, they sent you a statement requesting you to

show them your current income. This was

sent to you by [redacted] after your consolidation. Failure to submit that proof to them is the

reason your payment went back to higher payment.

Based on the review of your file, we have 100% fulfilled our

obligation to you as a client and had done so in an efficient manner. USSLS takes pride in caring for people and

going above and beyond in our service to them.

For that reason, we will issue a complete refund for the

services rendered. It is our goal you are

satisfied and walk away with an understanding that we are a company who cares.

Thank you

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Also, I just wanted to apologize to USLSS for flying off the handle. I realize there are probably a thousand more appropriate ways I could have handled this situation, but in light of my family's recent and current financial situation I unfortunately did not explore any of those avenues. I can't thank you enough for providing the full refund; it will help us out so much. I am sorry our professional relationship has ended on such a sour note, but do know that I greatly appreciate the lengths you have taken to resolve this issue.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I reviewed the email I received from USSLS management and while they never mentioned a time frame in which we would receive the refund, like I said before, they have not been in contact with me at all. So, my complaint has not yet been resolved and I would like it to be as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Hi [redacted],

Very courteous and kind receptionists that would respond quickly to any questions I had. They were very knowledgeable about the program and directed me to where I needed to go with any further assistance.

Review: Initial communication with US Student Loan Services was made 07/2015. An agreement was made to send consolidation paperwork to my home for me to sign and return. I never received paperwork from US Student Loan Services. I was charged $99 on 08/03/2015, $196 on 09/03/2015, 10/05/2015, and 11/03/2015, $49 on 12/03/2015, 01/04/2016, 02/03/2016, and 03/03/2016, for a total of $883. I did not notice these charges until 03/14/2016. Contact was made and company requested that paperwork be sent again. I denied services and cancelled any further payments, as well as requested to speak with account specialist to get a full refund since services were not provided. Account specialist attacked my personal character and refused to refund the amount charged.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of $883 that was charged to my personal checking account. The services in the agreement were never provided therefore I want a full refund of charges between 08/03/2015 and 03/03/2016.

Review: Hello,

I applied to consolidate my student loans with USSLS through representative [redacted] on March 17th. I was told it could take from 45-90 days for the consolidation to be completed. They charged my checking account with two $300 payments for this service. I was contacted by [redacted] on March 26th for further documentation, which I sent in the same day. I have not heard anything further from USSLS and when I contacted them last week to see the status of my application I was sent to a generic website where I submitted a request for a status on my application and was never sent confirmation this was received. I still have not heard anything from them. It is about to go on the 4th month since I submitted this, almost 30 days past the maximum amount of time they said it would take to complete the consolidation and they are not responsive or able to give me any information. This company is bogus and should be shut down. There is no way to request my money back, which they said was an option, so this is the only way I can request to be refunded the enormous amount of money I paid them. Please let me know how to go about getting my money back and letting the public know that this is basically a scam and you can consolidate your loans without having to pay $600 out of pocket. I would rather apply that money to the loans I have. Now I can't make my payments because I thought this would help manage them.Desired Settlement: I would like my $600 refunded. I can contact my bank to get proof that this money was taken out in two separate withdrawls. I would like the full amount put back into my account, or a check for that amount issued to me. Thank you.

Review: I have been trying to cancel this service now and the company refuses to let me talk to someone who can help me do this. The first time I asked to cancel their service was a few hours after signing up. I called the department of education and they informed me this was a scam and how easy it would be to do the same thing on my own for no cost. When I called I was fed a lot of lines of how they are credible and said they are credible and how there are other places out there who aren't. When looking them up, the name of the company they gave did not show up under the Revdex.com.org, I found out they also go by another name who does show up here and other sites exploiting them as a scam. I asked again if I could please cancel and was given the run around, telling me I had to formally write a letter, which I was and am fine with, but would not tell me where to mail it. The address I found for them they said was not the same address. So then a week after I signed up I talked to my tax guy and he explained how negatively it would affect us to file our taxes separately. This was already something I did not want to do, but was told I would have to. I went online and sent a request to cancel my service there and was told oh it is still better to do this blah blah blah and was not given the address to where I mail my letter. It has been two weeks of me trying to cancel. The lady, I believe [redacted], would not let me talk, was rude and very unhelpful, and she said now it is too late? Excuse me? This is something I have been trying to do since the beginning. I also talked with co-workers about this and they said they had tried and were denied because we are a not-for-profit, but there was something else that was disqualifying.Desired Settlement: I have talked to several employees and explained how after a few years, this service would not actually be beneficial. I will be making more money and would end up paying more for my loans than I already am right now. Since I have been trying to cancel since day one, and have not been able to, I feel I should be able to with a full refund.

Review: My sister made a one time debit payment to US student loans services with my debit card. I gave her permission to make the transaction. The transaction was made in May 2014. One August 29, 2014, my bank account was debited for $188.00. Neither her nor I gave US Student Loans permission to debit this amount from my checking account. I called US Student Loans services and they refused to refund my money.Desired Settlement: I would like for US Student Loan Services to refund my $188.00.

Review: I signed up with this service to consolidate my loans and paid the $50.00 fee as well as the $600 fee and was told my the gentleman doing my consolidation that the consolidation would be completed by September (signed up in July) and payments would not start until October. I was told I would receive my documents to sign within 14 days of my $600 payment. However, over a month went by and I did not receive any materials. I called to find out what the delay was and because I did not have the name of the specific person that handled the consolidation, no one could help me unless I submitted a support ticket. I received the documents about a week later and, therefore, dropped the issue of not receiving the documents. I followed the instructions and signed the forms and mailed them using the shipping label provided and mailed the forms to NelNet. Several weeks went by and NelNet still had not received these documents. I submitted a ticket to get another set of documents sent to me (since no one knew who did my consolidation at this company) and was told to use the tracking number that I got when mailing the envelope to track the documents. However, I was not issued a tracking number separate from the label that was printed. I could not get a satisfactory response for new documents and tried to get a hold of the person who did my consolidation and was told by several members of this organization they didn't know. A Felix Pena then said he would email around and find who had me, but I never heard back from him. I once again had to submit a support ticket to get this information and was told the person who did my consolidation, [redacted], left the company. I have now been told that USSLS believes they have completed their contractual obligations and will not refund any of the fee. The most frustrating and irritating part of this is the lack of support I received as well as terrible communication in the process, especially with my consolidator having left.Desired Settlement: I believe that the company should refund my fees due to their lack of service and communication. I tried to resolve the issue of NelNet not receiving the documents by having new ones sent but was met with multiple obstacles that left me with no choice but to use another way of consolidating my loans due to the timing that I required to pay my loans on time. I think that it is a cop out to claim that their contractual obligations were fulfilled. I understand that their contract is written so that they can claim no responsibility, but when I first spoke with George to complete this, he communicated that USSLS would help me with the process of consolidating these loans. I belive the poor customer service, lack of support, and mishandling of the entire process entitles me to a full refund.

Mr. [redacted],

Review: On August 5th I received an unsolicited phone call from USSLS, given the name and the amount of information they had about my situation I went forward with their services as they had promised some advantages to their program, that as a vulnerable young man in debt seemed too good to be true. Over the past month, little communication has gone back and forth between myself and the organization other than when they contact me for payments. After my second payment I took the accountants advice and processed my consolidation through the DOE---the exact process in which I was paying for. I recently had shared with my family's accountant that I was using this service to consolidate my loans; he notified me I could do this without assistance for free--which I did this afternoon and submitted my application. I am requesting a full refund of the $350.00 I have spent to thus far and a cancellation of my account. I felt deceived into thinking this was something I could not have done on my own and since no application has been submitted I feel entitled to my refund. When contacting the processing depart and my assigned representative I was first told that if I did not pay the rest of fee they would put me into collections---Pay the rest of the fee for an action they have done nothing on for nearly a month, that I completed in under 15 minutes. While they have been courteous, I think the sales tactic they employed in my case were predatory on the fact that I was young and in a great amount of student debt. I am requesting a full cancellation and refund of $350.00Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is a cancellation of my account with a refund of $350.00 as I have not seen the fruition of any of these services---No application via the DOE had even begun to be submitted.

This client was taken care of internally, PRIOR to receiving a Revdex.com complaint. Upon receipt of his support inquiry, which was 9/2, his ticket was escalated to management which was addressed first thing on 9/3. (Monday being Labor day, we had a one day delay in response due to other support items escalated) Being that we internally completed his requests PRIOR to receiving this complaint this morning, this should not be listed as a response to a Revdex.com complaint as it was already resolved.

Review: I was told by USSLH that they would consolidate all my student loans and allow me to pay $100 or less per month (Currently pay $206) with a better interest rate. I would just have a longer loan period about 30 years. There was a charge of $499 for their services. I agreed based on these promises. My loans were already consolidated by [redacted] except one for MSU. The interest rate for [redacted] was between 1.3%-2.5% for various loans. I now have a consolidation with [redacted] for 2.5% and will be paying $185 per month. [redacted] told me they are a free service and that USSLH are a third party. I am extremely upset about being lied to and scammed. The only reason I agreed was so I could make smaller payments because I was struggling and behind on other bills. They now won't talk to me or return my calls...Desired Settlement: I would like my $499 refunded since the promise made to me by USSLH was not kept and that [redacted] is a free service that I could have worked with directly to get the same results or better...

I sent 3 payments of $99 in July 2014 for ussls services. I then was sent a packet to mail in an addressed envelope. Then was charged $39 per month the next 3 months. I thought because I paid these fees I was on track getting my student loan payment paid. I started getting calls from ed financial where my loans are from saying they have never been contacted and they think I have been scammed. I contact ussls and I am told that if what I mailed back in July didn't get to where it was going it's out of there hands. I asked for a refund of what would be about $400. They had very rude customer service and I ended up hanging up. I learned to just call ed financial and speak to them directly they set me up with a great program. But I am out $400 from ussls and wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE!!!

I was struggling with my student loan payments so I thought USSLS would help with "loan forgiveness" and lower my interest rate. What they DON'T tell you is, that they DON'T pay your student loans directly after consolidation they are a third party and you can get this service for FREE without losing $499. Sooo, a person with high payments has now consolidated student loans, but now has to pay $100 a month on top of the payment you will owe to Direct Loans for a service you can get for FREE through the government. THIS IS A SCAM!! They also don't tell you, they charge an additional $39 for a maintenance fee that does absolutely NOTHING but take money out of your bank account. Learn from people who have been through it and don't trust the "reviews" on the Internet. These people are cashing in on people who are vulnerable and looking for help.
