The email correspondence I had was with a [redacted] with this email, [redacted] <[redacted]>, while the person that emailed me once I reached out to the Revdex.com has this email, [redacted] <[redacted].  At this time, I am not satisfied with the service of this company because I believe something fraudulent has taken place on their part.  The website I was provided with for further questions, mysupporthelp.com, was down for a period of time.  No attempts to contact me have been made since I last spoke to a representative on February 1st, despite being assured and reassured  that payments would automatically withdraw within the timeline that was given to me over our initial conversation.  I could not reach any representatives as well, in my attempts to resolve this on my own.  I do not want to continue business with the company.  I would like a refund of the services I paid for but were not provided.

Federal Consolidation on 9/23/2013.
 
USSLS identified that your status was still showing as a half time or more enrolled student and worked to have this status updated.  On 11/06/2013 USSLS, completed and filed the appropriate documentation for the consolidation.  On 11/21/2013 your file was in Certification process with the Department Of Education.   
 
On 12/6/2013 the Department of Education was notified that you the client cancelled and the consolidation was stopped.  USSLS was contracted to complete all the required steps to facilitate a Federal Consolidation and qualify the file for an Income Based Repayment Plan.  USSLS FULLY completed our contracted services and the cancellation of your consolidation was completed by you on 12/6/2013.
 
Our service department will immediately, if desired by you, work directly with you to ensure your loans are consolidated and you are qualified into a program that benefits you.  A refund on our services is not available at this point as our service was completed fully and it was due to loan holder cancellation that the consolidation was not completed.
 
Our service manager will contact you directly to confirm the necessary information needed to complete your consolidation.

I found out about USSLS via Facebook and I gave them a call to see what they had to offer or to say. Ever since I graduated I have been looking for and asking about someone who can tell me what is available and what I can do to make my student loan experience as enjoyable as I can and as affordable as I can. This company, more specifically [redacted] and [redacted], have done just that. They were ready and willing to help with positive attitudes and kind words. They were respectful and explained the information to me in a way that the normal public would understand.
They also helped me through a tough mix up with consolidation. [redacted] was on the phone with me for 3+ hours over a two day span and helped me to figure out what had happened. It was incredible and I feel so good now that everything is figured out. It would not have happened unless I had called this company.

This USSLS Company is a Joke a scam, to put it simply doing business with them is like Paying a company to download ITunes to your computer for free, then paying Apple after the fact for songs... Don't be an uniformed consumer, get out of debt by being informed and aware of your situation.
You DO NOT need to pay Any company to consolidate your federal student loan debt....
DO NOT PAY for this service, as they literally do nothing. All USSLS has done for me is fill out the electronic application for debt consolidate that exists online for company (GreatLakes)the I already have loans through. Who which by the way is also a poor company to do business with. Impersonal, lack in willingness to assist with my inquires, excessive "processing / filling" fees, which is also a total joke.

[redacted] Prior to your first complaint, on 6/3 our service manager conducted a conference call with you where he explained the program and resolved any outstanding questions you had. As a courtesy to you, we discounted you $100 due to your frustration from dealing with Fed Loans which is a company that we are not affiliated with. After responding to your initial complaint, we cancelled and refunded your file on 6/16. You called our client support line on 7/11, stating that you had only received a refund of $99. Our customer service representative had then advised you that we did indeed refund you your payments. However, the refund does not show up as one large amount because it was separate payments.  The last portion of $397 was refunded to you on July 11th due to a system error. Therefore, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that you were satisfied. refund approval was based on you not being satisfied with the service provided.  
 
However, we would like to clearly defend your slanderous talk against our company and the representative who you spoke with.  We reviewed the recorded call that had taken place and found that the information you provided to the Revdex.com about your complaint was false. Our representative did not misrepresent our service or our company.  We are a document preparation company working with people to help identify and then complete the necessary documents to receive a Federal Student Loan Consolidation.  Our website, which is where you, Ms. [redacted], requested information about our company, clearly states we are NOT the Federal Government and we are a third party document preparation company.  Our procedures violate no consumer law, we are compliant with all State and Federal regulations and make no false claims.
 
Your slanderous talk about our company is unacceptable .  Everyday you pay for "third" party services, you can make your coffee or pay for your coffee to be made, you can prepare you own taxes or pay for those taxes to be prepared, you can file your own corporation or pay for a document preparation company to do it and likewise you can navigate the Student Loan options yourself and complete the necessary filings or hire a company to do it.
 
We have refunded your fee upon notice of you not being satisfied.
 
We would appreciate those slanderous comments about our service to be removed from this complaint.

We have investigated this claim against USSLS and found the following areas of inconsistency with this customer complaint:
 
The client called us on 6/12/2014 in response to and advertisement for student loan consolidation assistance.  Which means USSLS...

did not call the client misrepresenting ourselves as their current service company.
Per the recorded conversation, never did the client represent the scenario in which they believed they were talking to their service company.
The $599 cost for document preparation and qualification into the program was represented just as that. Never did USSLS do anything to imply that cost went towards their loan.
USSLS completed the document preparation on their behalf and fulfilled our complete obligation to provide the services hired for.
 
We have refunded this clients $50 initial deposit in act of good faith.  USSLS is transparent in all areas of service as to our role within the process and in addition provide free consultations to further help people understand their options in a very confusing market, when they will receive little to no help from their current loan service company.  USSLS, is compliant with all local and federal laws, is charter members with The Association For Student Relief and operates with client service and completion at the forefront of all interaction.
