On 11/17/2105, Mr*** purchased the 2-piece Galveston reclining loveseat and sofa This merchandise was delivered to Mr***’s residence on 12/11/2015.In April of 2016, Mr*** requested for a service technician to visit his residence regarding discoloration of the cup holders and
tearing underneath the recliner In the interest of customer service; Mr*** was offered a store credit amount of $for the total cost of merchandise, tax and his Pure Promise warranty.Mr*** was offered an exchange of his merchandise to correct the defective piece In the event Mr*** does choose to use the in-store credit, he will be responsible for paying the difference on a more expensive set. In researching Mr***’s new merchandise request, I have found the 8-piece Diablo Walnut sectional Unfortunately, we will be unable to adjust the price of a 2-piece sofa and loveseat for a much larger setWe understand Mr***’s frustrations and feel that we have provided the appropriate option of allowing a full store credit for his merchandise or exchange If a more expensive set is chosen, Mr*** would be responsible for paying the difference

I thought in good faith they would make the issue right, so I did not return the furnitureHowever, they keep sending me damaged furniture and are increasingly evasive, rude and non-responsive avoiding phone calls or refusing to return calls when they say they willThis will be the 4th delivery I am told is being scheduledIt does not ensure I will receive furniture in good condition

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10723491, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me I was given store credit for the furniture (minus delivery) I went to the store and picked out new furniture However they have yet to make good on the promised delivery The new delivery is now rescheduled for August 5th.

I am rejecting this response because:Acceptance now Lexington Ky is not associated with the address you gave That is for Rent-a-center and they only service parts of northern and western Ky You are trying to deflect the issue onto acceptance now without accepting that Value City made the sale and it was financed through Acceptance now We were not credited correctly by Value City for the original piece of furniture that fell apart and was discontinued while under warranty, Value city encouraged us to get our financing through acceptance now, and we go into value city furniture to make our payments To state you are not associated or responsible for the actions of the company that you profit from and are allowing to do business within your establishment is a bold faced lie.

This is the bar set that was delivered and this pic was taken the day of delivery I have made two separate appointments for the tech to show up and neither time did they show upNow I am paying for this furniture that you see that clearly has this chip in it and I also showed this pic to the store. Why the value city furniture recommend me the insurence when I purchase the product .I payed for insurence on Value City recommendation And when the problem came in the product instead of exchange .the VCF refund me the insurence amount.And now they are saying nothing is coverd now , when I purchased the product they said it will cover all kind of damage .Now why VCF is on Backfoot Now the VCF is not taking any responsibilities for product when I was purchasing that day they were very helpful , professional now they are denying everything . Again I want to exchange the couch because at the time I submit the claim I was coverd with insurence the insurence value city furniture recommend me for future problem with the product. We leave the voice message for *** *** to talk about this matter, but nobody call back .Thanks
