Revdex.com:[redacted] from 24Hour Fitness corporate office contacted me and straightened out the issue.  I am grateful to both the Revdex.com and [redacted] at 24Hour Fitness for helping resolve this matter.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

24 Hour fitness indicates that they can not restore my membership and as in the basis of my original complaint they indicate the error was on [redacted] part. This in despite that they did honor life time memberships as part of the take over of [redacted] I am no closer to resolving my issue than I was back when I filled the complaint in January. 24 Hour fitness did offer me a membership at $300 a year which is (5) times my renewal price $60.00 of my original contract. I am caught in the middle of a paperwork issue due to the buyout of [redacted] each company indicating no liability at this point.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and talked to them on the phone today. Their response is acceptable but has not yet been given to me in writing.  Once I have received their resolution in writing and they have processed everything I will let the Revdex.com know.  However at this time I feel this complaint should be let unresolved for at least two more weeks (the time period 24 Hour Fitness has asked to finalize paperwork).

I am not satisfied with...

the response because my membership has not been terminated and I have not received a refund for $257.00. All I received was a phone call from a club manager hemming & hawing and not wanting to return my money. He tried telling my husband that it could take a long time to get a refund. I can file a small claims case tomorrow and then they'll owe me court costs as well.

The employee who contacted me listened to my story and offered no solution other than returning to the gym and use my remaining credit. He said he would call me back and never did. I'm not using the services and they are refusing to refund me the money even after injury and other incidents at their gym. It's not acceptable.
