I am rejecting this response because:I was contacted by a collections agency yesterday informing me that I owed to VASA fitnessThis puzzled me as I have NEVER signed anything with VASA fitness to become a memberI attended VASA as a guest with my mother twice in the summer of and only entered as a guestI was apparently lied to by your employees as I apparently was signed onto my mothers contractAfter both my husband, father, and myself worked extensively with your team yesterday to resolve the issue, we were given terrible treatment by your team and told that there was nothing they could do for us and that we were welcome to take legal action against themIt was appalling customer serviceThey were incredibly disrespectful to us when we were only trying to fix the situation that we had been unfairly put inIn order to appease this collections company and stop the harassment I paid the 173.00, however, I have every intention of getting my money that I do not owe VASA fitnessI was deceived and lied to by your company

The agreement we are showing on file was signed for years, we do not show the a request was provided to cancel this agreementWe do show that multiple calls were made to try and resolve and collect the past due amountWe also have a conversation between member and paramount on 5/20/regarding
a cancel member informed them he would speak to the gymNothing further was a doneThe cancellation was not processed the past due amount was owedWe can give the time back that was paid for with Swift on the account

I have receieivd feedback that this has since been resolved, with our local facility

***, I do show that during a conversation you had with our billing company in December you did express the want to cancel at which point they directed you to our online cancellation processThe reason it is processed online is because the month to month agreement does state the
cancellation policy involves a written days notice and a cancellation fee of $if canceling within the first months of the membershipThis conversation was had when our billing company was calling you about a delinquent balance on the account for *** *** which we had been unable to collect a payment from since October As a resolve we will go ahead and close both accounts effective today and waive the past due balance of $from ***'s accountWe will not be able to refund any charges made on your account up to date unless you can provide proof of a previous written request for cancellation

You are correct you should not have been billed the $for November which is what was refunded back to youBut the October payment was still owed, the statement made to the trainer did not indicate you wanted to cancel

Attempts were made multiple times to contact the member with the number provided at the point of saleThe member did not contact Vasa Fitness or Paramount Acceptance to resolve the past due.To resolve this the return fees will be waived the member will need to pay the monthly payments total past due payment from April till June $plus $Annual fee due 6/25/I will also waive the $cancellation fee
