Mr [redacted] , The membership you signed up for your son is a month to month membershipThis does give you the option to cancel the account per the stipulations listed in the signed agreementA cancellation must be submitted in writing with a days notice, meaning any payments owed with in the next days would be owedYou would also owe a cancellation fee of $if cancelling within the first monthsAs a courtesy we will waive the balance of $but the cancellation fee of $must be paid in order to finalize the cancellation of the membershipWe can try to run this to the card on file but it looks like this card is not able to process payments, can we call you to collect this final payment for closure of the account? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the injury incurred was a direct result of the training received from Vasa FitnessIt is the trainer's responsibility to assist the athlete in making her goalsMy goal, clearly stated to the training coordinator and to my trainers, several times, was to try out for a professional ultimate frisbee teamI posted to my friends on facebook (a significant number) and I do not know any other members or potential member to whom I could transfer my training sessionsLegal issues aside, it is good business practice to accommodate members and their unforeseen circumstancesI have made significant effort on my own to resolve the issue of having unused training sessions, which included at least sessions that were cancelled or not scheduled on the trainer's end, and I hope that the business would make an equal effort to resolve the issue Sincerely, Mary [redacted] J***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I requested to cancel the account all of it (gym & personal trainer) on Thu 6/11/8:AM via email - they told me about the agreement contractwhen I went into the local gym in American Fork, I requested a hard copy of the agreement/contract come to find out that one of those contracts were sent to me via the correct email ( [redacted] @rocketmail.com), the other one was never given to me, due to that the email on contract is incorrect and those initials are not mine either, they signed them for meIf you clearly see on the contract that the reps name who assisted me in person is named Brock - and on the second contract the name is Michael - so really not my fault, when I sat down with Brock in person, he was telling me yes, I can cancel at any time and never once told about the yrcontract agreementI have been going to the Gym regardless of all of this harassment, because it is still coming out of my bank account, what am I supposed to do, not attend and let Vasa keep the money, this makes no senseIf I kept going it is because, I have tried numerous times to cancel the gym and personal trainer, I am not able to satisfy this gym by moving miles away or selling the contract to somebody else, I am new in this town and have no familyPlease somebody compare these two contracts and tell me how this is my fault, I have had nothing but stress over this, it is way to expensive, I have four kids and with school starting soon, will not have much time to attendThe gym contract I did agree to it, since its a month to month Sincerely, Alma V [redacted]

***, We do not have association with the Gold's Gym franchiseThis change was made in November of 2014, and any agreements made between you and VASA Fitness since that time would not be a part of Gold's GymWe are a separate entity; I apologize for any confusion on this matterIn regards to your membership # [redacted] this membership was a month to month agreementI see that you spoke to Paramount Acceptance, our billing company, on 9/8/and it was at this point they explained the terms of cancellation involved a days notice and a cancellation fee of $since you were still inside your first monthsBased on our notes they directed you to the cancellation website to have this processedI am unable to locate a written cancellation submitted for your account and your final payment including the cancellation fee were never paidOur billing company continued to reach out to you to resolve the matter and clear the past due balanceThe account reflects that they did speak to you on a few occasion and you refused to pay what was owed per the signed agreementBecause this was never resolved the account was turned over to a collection agencyThe balance at this point will need to be handled with the collection agency Aldous & Associates at 801-272-I understand you are currently living out of state but we would be happy to offer you some of those months back once the the balance has been resolved with the collection agency if you relocate near one of our locationsPlease let me know if you have any questions

I have verified the amounts, this is correct once the membership is sent into collections interest and fees are added on with the collection agencyThis is something VASA made attempts to resolve before it came and was unsuccessfulThe debt will need to be settle and discussed with Swift at this point

Mr [redacted] , I apologize for the concerns you have had with the current and previous membershipsWe have reviewed the personal training account you referenced in your message and show that we do have a signed agreement for the personal training to go into an automatic renewalThat being said you have been in communication with our Member Loyalty team who have refunded all renewal payments made up to date except for the amount paid on sessions that [redacted] had usedWe are not able to refund you on services that have been renderedAs a courtesy I would be happy to offer you a month on us towards ***'s membership applying towards his August paymentPlease let me know if you have any questions or concerns

Thank you for reaching out to us, we will sent your concerns about the facilities dirtiness to our maintenance director to review and fix any challenges at this locationI show ***'s membership was cancelled 2/10/and the payment was declined so we were unable to process a refund since we did not get the paymentYour membership was cancelled on 1/31/since we did not received a payment for you as well there would be no need for a refundI do apologize for the experience you have received we do love to hear feedback so we can move forward to improve the member experience at all our locations
