Member was informed in how to cancel with relocation we did not receive these documentsMember was informed again 6/of how to cancel we did not receive a notice of cancellationattempts have been made to contact the member with the information we have on file If member can provide proof of cancellation sent we can call back to debt and cancel from time stampIf there are no documents to prove this the debt would have to be settled with Swift.?

After looking over the agreement, our member service team did receive documentation in November that the member would be unable to utilize the servicesAt this point it was decided to write off the remaining balance of $***, waive the $ [redacted] cancellation fee and process the cancellation and not charge any further duesThe member was made aware we would not be able to refund any payments that had already draftedSince the member did do chargebacks worth of $ [redacted] for august, September, October and Novembers draftWe are happy to pull the account from collections but the $ [redacted] would need to be paid

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: VASA first ask for my sons name which is Matt, they then responded that he must take up the matter with them, now they say I am and they sent the month to month account to collections for the last months that no one has used the month to month account VASA has not done anything to help in solving the matter As stated before I purchased Matt the month to month membership Dec of and he used it for months There is nothing that is month to month that VASA advertises They advertise month to month for $and continue to want me to pay $a month on a continual basis even though no one uses the account.Please take my account out of collections and credit the account to be up to date and then cancel the accountNo money will be paid for this Sincerely, Kent D***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This is an unacceptable responseI have spoken with my bank and they cannot create that letterThere is literally nothing I can do, or could have done to prevent this ridiculous situationI was not forwarned that I would be issued a new card that would change my card numberIt was sent to me as they were updating older cards that did not have a more protective "chip" feature (my card was not expiring either)So for VASA to assess a "mandatory fee" for not advising them I was getting a new card, which I had no idea was being issued, is horrible businessThere's a reason so many people are flocking to other gymsAll this is over a $feeVASA can choose to charge me that $25, which I paid reluctantly, and lose a loyal customer for 10+ years, or resolve this silly issue and keep someone around that will be paying them much more than $for the rest of the year through membership feesWhich is smarter business? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I feel like I should have not had to pay for a service that I cancelledI had to pay because there was nothing else that could have been doneI closed all my accounts with VASA in the ways that VASA requires and yet I was still chargedApparently this is a practice for Vasa there are a ton of complaints and reviews about this same thing, People closing and all of a sudden Vasa loses those request and people are charged moreThis should not be happening at allThis is not how a business should be ranThis needs to changeI was told I either had to pay the that should have not been paid by my or I was going to have to go to courtbecause Vasa chose to place a collection on my husbands name that was not even on the account this needed to be taken care ofI want all my information, husbands information and my sisters information removed from VAsa systemDo not want to be associated with Vasa ever againIn a perfect world I would get my money back but I know that will not happen with a company as Shady as VasaSo pleae send me notice that the collection is gone./ I want it in writing and I want it in writing that my information is removed from the system Sincerely, [redacted]

I apologize we could not come up with a resolve, we show you did pay for April and MayI do show you did use the services in June but have not paid for those services renderedThe $would need to be paid, once this is done we will process your cancellation

[redacted] , To clarify you would not receive a paper copy at the the point of sale, only a copy would have been emailed to youOur fitness counselor is stating he gave you a tour of the facility and you wanted the training agreed for the contractThe training did not include having access to the facility so you would also need to sign up for a membership and our records show that you told the fitness counselor you would sign up on 3/9/for the memberships On that day you did provide your billing and personal information for the training accountYou also attended a session the next day showing the you did want the trainingWe have closed your Fitness Training effective today with no further billing to resolve the matter, but we will not be issuing any refunds as all our information shows that a contract was signed

Thank you for reaching out to us, after reviewing the claims and the agreement we do not have any records a cancellation was requestedIn order to do so we do require a days notice that can be mailed, emailed and dropped off to our Corporate OfficeSince this was not done the account did remain activate and multiple attempts via calling, and letters were sent out in an attempt to collect the past due amount with no responseAt this time you would need to address this with the outside collection agency

I do apologize you feel this way regarding the sale of the agreement, however we do insure that everything is clearly stated on our agreements how much your monthly payments will be, how many sessions you will receive each month, and what your price per session isWe do understand that there are miscommunications at the point of sale on what you were under the impression of signing and the last thing we want to do is cause you more stress since we want to be here to relieve your stressThe account will still be pulled from collections and they will take any negative markings off your credit report, and I will process a cancellation of the personal training agreement
