I apologize for the miscommunication at the point of sale, we do charge the annual fee within the first 3 months of the agreement and then annually after that. What we can do is refund the extra charge of $53.41 back to your visa card ending in [redacted]. This payment will be billed again though...

The information proved at the point of sale with the $100 enrollment fee is correct. The member does still sign an agreement but there is no term it is a month to month. There is a $25 cancellation fee if cancelled 6 months into the agreement. Where you signing two membership??

I apologize if you were not aware of what the contract indicated and what you had purchased, however the agreement will remain active at this time. You are welcome to transfer the contract to someone else and we will waive the $100 transfer fee for you.

The return fee is charged at the point the payment does not clear, in your case this would have been the 7th. The club should be bringing the account current but the fee was already applied. The $25 return fee is charged on each account this is a new policy to actually save our consumers money. In...

the past you would be charged a $10 return fee at the point the payment delcined, If the payment was to go 10 days past due you would be charged a $25 late fee. If the payment was retried and did not clear you would be charged another $10 return fee. This was charged on each payment that delcined ex: if you have your monthly payment of $21.36 and annual fee of $41.67 you would be charged two $10 return fee and 2 $25 late fees. The new policy is just 1 $25 return fee. As a resolve we will waive one of the $25 return fees this one time. However if the account goes past due in the furture this fee is not something that will be waived.

I am rejecting this response because:  Why were all of our concerns not answered?  With my husband William going to the gym 4 to
5 times per week why did the employees wait until after the 10th day
to say anything?  Also VASA had both of
our cell phone numbers, they text us to tell us what a good job we are doing by
working out but cannot text/call us to inform us that they are having an issue
with our payment ?  It appears that this
the way that they conduct business in order to get more money from their
members.  Why was the concern about being
charged the annual fee not addressed?  We
were not told that this would be taken out after 3 months we were lead to
believe that we would not have an annual fee.
What I expect it that the annual fee on both to be removed.  We will agree to pay for 1 late free in
protest and cancel both memberships.

past due amount as recent at 1/20/17. With each call a message was left to contact us regarding your account. Once you contacted our member service department your past due amount was adjusted off and your account was cancelled effective 1/23/17. We would be happy to help assist you with a reimbursement providing documents showing you requested to cancel March 2016.
