The website has two different options for a People SearchOne is to pay $for a search which comes with a trial of our membership to run unlimited searches. The other option is to buy only the people search with no membership for $As the customer stated, they selected the $
report with the membershipThis is shown during the check out process and again on the final page of check out the customer can view that they are also getting the trial membershipThey then get the Terms of use and a check box to agree to the Terms of useWe state that the customer may cancel their membership at any time, via email, phone or onlineHowever, previous months billings are not refundable

on 08/05/the customer typed the phone number *** onto our website to look for more information on itThey were billed $for this search, not $In order for them to be billed, they had to run the search, enter their billing info, credit card and create an accountWe have now
closed the account and any further billingsWe have already refunded the most recent membership billingsPlease allow 5-business days for the refunds to post to their accountThere will be no further refunds per the Terms of Use

The customer selected the discounted People Search product that some with the Trial MembershipThis membership sign up is shown in multiple places in the check out processBefore completing the purchase the customer also checked a box that agrees to the Terms of Use stating that previous months

We can not locate the account without the email address the account was opened underPer Terms of Use the customer is not entitled to refunds

I am rejecting this response because: I did make a phone call the same day of trial because I was having issues with account and was told the services didn't included what I was asking for so I asked for accounts to be closed Not only that but my account was charged for two different items

I am rejecting this response because: As I stated in my complaint, I have no recollection of agreeing to automatic enrollment of $per month The total amount I was overbilled was $99.80, not $that Peoplefinders is offering to repay

We have reviewed our files and found that your Property Directory listing was removed on 10/1/Reviewing that page today we do not see the listingWe do see another listing was brought to our attention in the People Directory and reported by a representative to the IT
department on 10/8/Please allow a few more business days for them to remove this additional listingWe want to make sure you are aware that anytime you publicly report your information to companies and organizations, this information may be updated in public record databases and therefore will return results when doing a search for public record filesIf you see your name appear on our site again you will need to notify us so we can remove it
