I am rejecting this response because:this company is a scam You must check there terms and conditions to get there $report or whatever it is, then a month later u get a bill from them If you go on the website it tells u to call to cancel If you call to cancel it tells u to go on their website The fact they fight this so hard shows how many people they have scammed They don't wanna refund the money bc they know they owe so many people so much money Unfair, unscrupulous business practices When I called to cancel the representative told me she should charge me 49.95, that I should be happy I got a good deal and hung up on me

Standard procedure is to pull up a customer's account using the email address they provided at the time of their purchaseWe cannot assist a customer's issues unless we have the account in front of usWe understand that the customer is stating fraud, however we asked for their email address to see
if there was an account created using that addressWe provide public records via public record databasesHowever, when someone calls in, we cannot find their account info by using our public record data bases, because when you create an account with us it is not public record. We cannot assist the customer if they are not willing to provide us with the information needed to pull up the charges in our systemWe are not able to pull up any accounts using this email address that the customer has provided on this complaintWe are also not able to find the account only using first and last nameWe will need either the email address used at the time of sign up, or the first and last digits of the card charged

We are unable to locate the customers accountPlease provide the email address that the account was opened under

I am rejecting this response because:I appreciate that the company is now providing consideration of offering another search after the fact; however I believe they are not representing what they advertise I would not want another bad report in exchange for the first bad report and they should have offered that right away upon my initial complaint to them and been kinder with respect to their customer service People Finders advertise "quality, reliable, thorough, and most used" with respect to their reports, which is misleading and clearly mis-advertised They advertise for a service, but then trump with policy knowing their data is not reliable, not updated, not thorough, not accurate Are they selling what they advertise or are they selling policy? Isn't that a deceptive trade? What I have experienced is that they are not selling a service rather they are selling a policy that unfortunately tricks the public out of money for supposed thorough, quality, reliable reports etc If they are the "most used" a refund to one person, me, would be a drop in the bucket I cannot believe they are so stubborn for a "drop in the bucket" and waste so much time and energyUnless now they worry that all the drops are going to add upwhich they shouldYou would hope they would do the right thing I will not use their site and will continue to advise the public through consumer reviews, public media, word of mouth, etcto not utilize their "services" or information until they have more accurate and updated data from their "sources." If there has been approximately 250+ complaints on the Revdex.com record let alone various consumer reports outside of Revdex.com from people about PeopleFinders who tried their service, that is far too many and should say enough I unfortunately have added to that list In regards to "most used" perhaps it should read "most tricked." Shame on me for trusting in their advertised service. Thank you and I wish to no longer entertain discussion

I am rejecting this response because:I actually knew the name of the cell phone holder already and that the person was in PhoenixPrior to purchasing the report, the screen churns
away at it's discovery and then indicates that it had the full address (with a green checkmark and everything)The address was the info that I was interested in and if the page would have had an X beside full address indicating that you did not have this info then I never would have purchased the report. i'm more concerned about the misleading way that your website works and that the exact same thing will happen to 1000s of othersand because the purchase price is low, most people will know that they got screwed but it's not worth doing anything aboutMeanwhile you make a tidy profit from many small transactionsPretty shady if you ask me

The customer is correct in stating that they made an initial purchase of $They selected to purchase a People Search Report + Trial membership for a total of $0.95, then then selected to have the report emailed directly to them for $totaling $1.45. We have included a screen shot of
the website that states that product is coming with a trial membershipThe customer also is shown before the final check out that they are signing up for a membershipThey also checked the box to agree to the Terms of Use which states previous months are not refundableThe membership has now been canceled, there will be no further renewalsAs a courtesy we are refunding the most current months billing of $that posted on 12/09/

Firstly, I did not request a refund
I indeed authorized a cent chargeThe fine print
was just that, fine and deceptiveI was not presented with an authorization request when the membership fee was charged at a later date nor the subsequent monthly chargesTherefore they are unauthorized transactionsYour deceptive practices abound by not even emailing me of the charges or providing any kind of notice or receipt I'm simply calling you out on this deceptionThese are the facts

As you can tell by My statements for this supposed $purchase did not occur on February 11th it occurred on February 18th and that was for a three-day trial and also as you can tell by my statement I did not purchase no $membership in February also they have been taken out the $for the month past month's and also why would I pay for a membership a website that give me the run-around they did not even show me my own background check and honestly I think my statements are proof enough that I never purchased a membership in February when they claim I did so when I had called to complain about my money being tooken off my card the women that I had spoke with told me well we sent you an email days after the the trial asking if I wanted a membership
