I am rejecting this response because: What People Finders has told you is untrueI have bank records that show peoplefinders.com has been charging me $every month since January 20, which can be seen in the copy of these charges I have attachedAs I stated in my complaint, People Finders started charging me $every month after I had agreed to pay a one time charge of $in December of to look up a phone number that had been calling me.People Finders sent me an email today 02/29/saying they are refunding the last charge of $that was charged this month, and nothing else about refunding any other charges

I am rejecting this response because: I would have never purchased the service if it said that they had no records found at the beginning of the process after I gave them my money thwy all of a sudden have NO RECORDS OF WHAT IN LOOKIBG FORSo you just take my money and tell me about a pop up there was no pop up abd at the same tine thwre wasn't even a secrion for thw info I was looking for they just ripped me off a I sidnt even have the service for a hour abd when I called thw young lady said she would run a search and when I said Mississippi she said she would cancel the membership because the state of Mississippi dont show ANY DIVORCE RECORDSTHIS IS A RIP OFF ABD I WONT STAND FOR THIS

I am rejecting this response because: While I appreciate PeopleFinder's courtesy and willingness to refund my December payment, I believe that they should do more I am an educated man and would not have agreed to a monthly service that I have no need for I was attempting to find contact information for one person one time and the fact that PeopleFinders has almost complaints against their billing practices suggests to me that the website could be more straightforward $seems like a great deal of money for a phone number that did not work The $collected in October should be sufficient and fair payment for contact information for one person, one time If they check their records, they will see that no additional inquiries were attempted If PeopleFinders would be willing to refund an additional $for the month of November, I would consider this matter settled equitably Thank you - [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Within the day trial period I cancelled on line as they directedAfter continuing to be billed I called the customer service line where it directed me to cancel on lineAfter discovering I was still being billed for the account I called again and was directed again to the website where I followed closely their directions to cancel on lineThe next month I was billed again and then called my credit card company to stop paymentI then received an email to contact the customer service representative and when I called and spoke to [redacted] she stated that she could see that I didn't use the product but could only credit me a portion of the monthly payments and that I would have to go to her supervisor to get credit on the restAfter several days I was able to get in touch with her supervisor, [redacted] I believe, who was very rude and stated that she agreed that she could see that I did not use the product but refused to credit me the entire amountThis is obviously a company with unethical billing procedures who trap customers into a forced billing and state that they never canceled on line - I guess my cancelation was lost in the black hole of the internetNot until I called my credit card company did I get any response/cancelation!!!
