Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below They did offer to come out and fix the problemThe gentleman that they sent out was not a TV repair man and told me several times that he was notHe only worked on computersAfter he replaced parts he leftThe TV still did not work, I called him and he said again he was not a TV repair man and had no idea what was wrongAfter talking with Vizio they said they could not send out another repair man and that I would need to purchase a new TVThey did offer different TVs at a small discountTo me who paid $for a TV a year ago I found this to be unacceptableThey should either repair or replace the item Regards, [redacted]

I purchased a Vizio through Purchasing Power at work for my son for his birthday He had the television for months when it made a loud popping sound and died I called Vizio customer support to get a resolution for this We went through the standard reboot of the tv, (which I have never had to do with any other brand I have owned) and it still did not work He then proceeded to tell me it was the capacitor of the tv which had gone out They flatly refused to replace the tv,, even though it was only months old They said parts would be ordered and a technician would call me in 5-days to schedule an appointment Three weeks later, I contacted Vizio again asking when they planned to fix the tv I was informed that the service call had been cancelled because they could not reach me, even though they had my home and work numbers and my email address NO ONE HAD TRIED to contact me! They then told me they would schedule another service call in 5-days and get the tv fixed When asked why I had to wait again, they told me they had to order the parts What happened to the parts they ordered the first time? Any how do they know what is actually wrong with the tv as no tech has actually laid eyes on it? Never again will I buy anything made by Vizio

Hello, We bought a 55" VIZIO HDTV around 2/years ago, and now it just doesn't work, I get power to it but no sound or picture, I have delt with them on the phone and via facebook, when I spoke to them on the phone they really didn't/couldn't do anything for me, then I spoke to someone via facebook, and he emailed me back and said this..Terry, Unfortunately, it appears that the TV would need to be repaired but is almost years outside of the warranty We would still like to assist you by splitting the cost of the repair The cost to you for this would be $ We would send the terms and conditions which would need to be signed and received back to us within 1-business days Once we have received the terms and conditions back, ITI will be in contact with you in 5-business days to accept the payment Once payment is received, ITI will setup a date and time to service the TV If this is something you would like to move forward with, please let me know Thanks, [redacted] VIZIO Now I know I am not the only one who is having trouble with them, you should chk out their facebook page and read some of the comments...https://www.facebook.com/vizio/?fref=ts I have tubed tv's that are 15/years old and they still work fine besides the HD which they don't haveI feel they should replace it or fix it at no charge to me Thank you

I agree with the replacement of the TV but I feel that they should also pay a fee for the time that I have been without the televisionI am on a pay service for my television so I have had to pay for a service that I am not receiving without a TVI feel that they should have to pay for that service seeing that it is coming out of my pocket even though I am unable to use the service without the TelevisionI pay 50$ a month to have cable brought into my apartment so I feel that they should have to pay the 50$ charge that I am paying but unable to use without a TV.Thank you, [redacted]

I purchased my television on 7/10/and it worked for days and then stoppedI called Vizio to advise them off what happened and they told me to email them pictures of the tv so they can see what's going onI emailed the pictures and they said it will be easier to replace than to have someone come fix itIt's been weeks and I have yet to receive my televisionEvery time I call I get a different answer and no one seems to know when I will receive my television and no one seems to careI advised them this is my only television in the home and they didn't seem to care about that eitherI will never purchase another television with this company if this is how customer service treats peopleAnd I still don't have my television!

I call vizio to have my tv repaired after the repair another problem started had them come back and repair the tv again the problem is still going on Asked them to either replace the tv or refund my money and they refused to do eitherSaid I would have to buy another 4k device and try it to see it the problem was still thereI ask them to send said device so I could try it and they refused
