On Feb 13, I experienced a problem with my sound bar that it would randomly turn off, and required rebooting After contacting Vizio, the technician advised I should do a hard resetThis bricked the device I contacted Vizio, and since the device is under warranty (I provided proof of purchase), I was asked to return the device in their provided box, which I did within hours of receiving the box I have not heard anything about a replacement unit (I was assured they would send out a NEW (not recertified) unit via ***) In the meantime, my TV is also randomly dimming (this happened within hours of the sound bar dying) Resetting the TV did not fix the problem, and Vizio recommended that I replace it, as it too is under warranty Vizio claims that they contract with a third party to remove, replace, and install customer televisions I asked for the company's information and the technician's certifications before I allow this stranger into my home/work on my AV equipment,

Was having problems with my Vizio TV was not connecting to the Internet I spent several times on the phone with my Internet company and they assured me my Internet is working just fine along with my wireless router they send a man to fix it and it was not fixed so I called them and the lady I spoke to her name was [redacted] in Texas told me they were sending me a brand new TVI received a phone call today from Vizio stating they were not going to replace my TV that there was something wrong with my Internet I informed the man there was not and he said well I'm sorry I don't know what to tell you when I made the first call my TV was still under warranty all they did was give me a recertify TV which I think is just someone else's problem and that's why they took it back to the store so I was promised a brand new TV they told me someone would be contacting meSo basically I was lied to and now I'm back where I was in the beginningThank you very much for your help have a wonderful day, al

Vizio TV's are junk and their customer service is the worst in the country So I bought a $2,Vizio 70" E701i-ATV about years ago well it quit working, no pictureSo I called them to check on issue with the TV that I myself could look into being that I have a electronics degreeI was informed by customer service that my TV has been recalled for the same problem that I am havingHe asks me for my serial number, so I gave it to him, and he informs me that my TV is one that falls under the recallSo I am think well cool they will fix it for meNOPE!!! I was then asked how long I had the TV, so I told himThen I was told well the recall is over now so there is nothing they can do to help meWHAT!!!! You said it was recalled for a known bad chip setThen I was told since it didn't break during the recall I'm SOL So Vizio will not tell people about recalls even if it is registered with them, like mine wasHe told me it was post on the webSo I asked where, he couldn't tell me cause of course it was not on their siteIt took me almost an hour to find a site that had a posting about this recall, and guess what it was a site that gets less than 100,hits a year world wide So not only do they not stand behind their products, but when they know there is an issue with them they hide a recall on sites that no one ever goes to When we buy a New $2,TV we expect to get 100,hours out of it, which is years if you never turn it offWhich is what Vizio says their TV will last I will never buy another VIZIO product in my life timeThey are in the business of making junk, knowing they are selling junk that does not work, and not standing behind their junkThey are in the business of ripping people off of their hard earned money

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowYesterday on 05-16-(Sat), I received a phone call from Vizio Customer Relations Manager ( a female voice) and was surprised to hear what she saidShe will not exchange or repair the broken T.V I have and was offering she can help me find another T.V on discounted priceI do not want to spend a single penny on a Vizio product as I have already paid price of the T.VI asked her; is it listed somewhere on the box to open the box at the store to make sure it is not broken and she had no answerShe was just circling back saying damage is not covered in warantyI told her this means going forward whenever I buy an electronic item, I should open it at the store in front of the Sales person so that no-one blames any one afterwards, which is not a usual practice the customers followI remember when I purchased this T.V; many other customers loaded their T.V in the trunk of their vehicles and half of the box was hanging out of the truck of others customer vehiclesThis means all should have damaged their T.VI brought this T.V home in a very safe way, keeping it standing straight in my van; rapped in a blanket and my wife was holding the box all the time sitting on a single seat in one corner of my vanI kept the box secured in a separate room on a carpeted floor, which stays lockedI told Vizio Customer Relations Manager I am an honest person and what I telling is 100% true and ready to sign any legal document to assure Vizio, I did not cause any damage to this T.VSeems like Vizio Customer Relations Manager does understand my concern but do not want to open the door if they exchange this T.V, other customers could claim the same wayI also mentioned to the Vizio Customer Relations Manager if I had opened the T.V box at Wal-Mart during purchase, this T.V would have been retuned back to Vizio or Wal-Mart would have kept it depending upon their business process with VizioI am just loosing my money as did not open the box during due course of timeIf Vizio will not replace or repair this T.V , I will never buy a Vizio product in my whole lifeI mentioned this to Vizio Customer Relations Manager that you will loose a customer for my entire life and my other family members , relatives and friends would also come to know as everyone knew I bought a big screen T.V and was waiting for my basement to finish and then installThank you for your effortsSincerely, [redacted] ***

I was talking to a lady about getting my TV work done and I was upset and told her when the service tech comes he could just take the TV with him out of frustrationThen she called me honey and when I asked to talk to a supervisor because I found that offensive and harassment she said you're going to escalate this over a pet name thenAfter several minutes I got to talk to [redacted] which he said he was the supervisor and that he would look into it but didn't really take it serious to me I feel like I was offended and that is a type of sexual harassment

I contacted vizio customer service because my wireless speaker stopped workingthey did all the troubleshooting possible and still no resolutionthey advised me they would replace the item or refund my money because they coded it as defectivei sent them my proof of purchase which was through [redacted] .comthey advised me it was covered under warranteedays later they called to let me know they would refund, after about minutes on hold they advised me they cannot cover though their warrantee because " unbeknown" to me I bought through a seller which was not authorizedvizio rep told me unfortunately there is not way I would have known that , that seller was not authorizedvizio said there is nothing they can do
