Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I've had the same exact defect occur with two TV's and have no assurances that the replacement TV won't have the same issueA day warranty is not sufficientIf the defect has been resolved, and the replacement TV is in fact new, Vizio should have no issue providing a year warranty at no additional costNew TV's come with this standard, reluctance to provide a standard warranty on one indicates uncertainty the TV will last that long without failing againThe warranty is free to Vizio, unless the TV fails againWhat they are suggesting is I spend more of my money to ensure their replacement TV is free of defects for only a year when I've already had two fail, one in less than the days they are offering Regards, [redacted]

In late March I ordered a Vizio TV from [redacted] Upon receipt I noticed that the tablet remote was not included in the package along with the TV not working The next day I called Vizio to advise them of my issues They indicated they were sorry for the experience and would have a new TV shipped with a remote They also offered "white glove" delivery since I had mounted my TV After weeks of delayed shipping, I finally received my TV today! I purchased a VIZIO E701i-A3e in late 2013, after months the TV failed and when I called VIZIO they said it was out of warranty by month, today I found that an additional year of warranty was added to these TV's to resolve this problem however I was never notified that the extra warranty was addedMy TV has been sitting in its original box since its failure in January The TV was close to $once sales tax was added although at this point I cannot find my receipt for itOne of the many websites I found the information at was http://vizhdt [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution was unsatisfactory I was contacted by a representative from Vizio over the weekend I explained the situation to them over the phone The representative told me that I had but two options: Send my unit back to Vizio and wait for them to repair it and send it back, or Give Vizio my credit card information over the phone so that they can send me a new unit (advanced replacement) However, there would be a hold for the value of the television placed on my credit card until they receive the defective unit It is bad enough that Vizio has inconvenienced me by selling a defective product, but now they are charging me for the advanced replacement I put my trust in Vizio when I purchased their product So why then can't they put their trust in me by sending me a new unit knowing that I will send them back the bad one? I let them put the hold on my card for the vaule of the unit; however, I am totally dissatisfied with Vizio, their products, and their customer support I will never purchase another item from them and I intend to spread the word so that others do not make the same mistake Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have been in contact with a representative from Vizio by the name of [redacted] She is in charge of my caseAfter giving them my Mac ID address and serial number and some other information from my TV they sent an update to my setUnfortunately it did NOT resolve my problemI was told by [redacted] that my TV is the ONLY that they have ever encountered with these symptoms and in order for them to proceed to try and resolve they would have to send service personal to my home to replace the "main board" and "wifi card" I kindly said no thank you as I know this will NOT solve my problem and to take my 80" TV off my wall to experiment was not acceptableMy TV's hardware is in perfect functioning order, rather this is a software issue as the Amazon app works perfectly on my Samsung TV Regardless since I was told my TV was the ONLY ONE with these symptoms I decided to do some of my own investigatingNeeding a couple of new TV's for the bedrooms I decided to go to Walmart to purchase a couple of smaller TVs for the bedroomsI decided to purchased VIZIO E241i-A24" 1080p 60Hz Razor LED Smart HDTVs that were on saleBoth are Smart TV's and both exhibit the SAME EXACT symptoms as my 80" Vizio TVThe same exact behavior!! The Amazon app will play trailers of movies but will NOT play the full movieHowever I can start the movie on my PC using the Amazon web page and then go to the TV and RESUME the movie and watch it problem freeNetflix also works without issueThis is all using the SAME MAIN BOARD and WIFI CARD, on the same network, so it is NOT the hardwareThere are many many frustrated customers that have purchased Vizio TVs under what we believe is advertising and have never had the APP work from day one although we purchased it with the Amazon Prime app logo on the Box advertising it as a selling pointPlease reference this ongoing active thread and read for yourselves all the numerous dissatisfied customers http://www.amazon.com/forum/amazon%20video%20on%20demand/ref=cm_cd_pg_pg1?_encod... I really hope you the Revdex.com will protect consumers and get Vizio and Amazon to resolve this issue and stop blaming each other for a poorly coded AppObviously Samsung or other Smart TV manufactures are not having an issue getting Amazon Prime to function properlyTherefore, I truly believe this problem rests solely with Vizio for not properly writing their code to run the App from a software perspective Regards, [redacted] [redacted]

Turned my television on Monday morning and it had lines throughout the pictureI called customer service and they stated this was a point of impactI explained to them the television worked just fine the night before and no one had been around it to make a "point of impact" however, they kept ensuring it was hitMy television is still in warrantyThey told me days to be exactyet, they are not willing to fix the issueIf my television was hit, I would most definitely be awareI have experienced awful customer service with multiple representatives

This Complaint is on a 55" Vizio E550i-AOE Tv purchased years agoThis was a Christmas giftThe reason it was not opened until now is an addition to our home was not completed until nowWe have had it in the box until it was opened on 11/06/It worked fine for days and on 11/10/it has half a screen that has a blue hue and the other half is fineThere has been a recalls on similar Vizio TV's We called customer service and the only thing that they said was Sorry it will cost you to much to repair We can save you money on a new Tv.This was over $dollar lostonly days of serviceI Have another Vizio Tv that works great had it for years
