My experience with Volcy has been nothing but fantastic The tech went above and beyond what I would have ever expected from an "online" company You can believe it's worth the money and their dedication and experience are bar none Definitely will recommend this company

After having terrible issues with my PC and unable to find support, I found Volcy they identified many issues with my computer I had no idea were there The explained every issue in terms I could understand and then they fixed my computer I have never had such competent support I recommend them highly and really appreciate George, he help me so much

Very prompt, efficient and helpful My computer was running slow and sluggish and now it appears to have much better performance I am very please with the service and the technician

I'm amazed that they are members of the Revdex.com and that they received a "B" rating My experience was very similar to others that I've read about where I believed that I was talking with McAfee since I called them--I know better than to respond to the calls I received saying there is something wrong with my computer, but it seems that the scammers have upped their game It appears to me based on my experience that if you really complain, they will refund your money, but that doesn't provide protection for those who have been duped Although I am a 70-year-old woman, I have worked with computers since so I am at a little more of an advantage than most my age and yet still fell for their lies for a short time One of the things they tell you to allay your apprehensionss is that they are members of the Houston Revdex.com At the time (April 17), you were in the process of updating your report, so I was unable to get specific data The only positive I can say is that at no time were they verbally abusive to be, but clearly if they could have gotten by with charging me $1,100, they would have I think they should be reported to the FCC and wish I had kept better recordsActually, this was the second company that intercepted or misdirected my call--all parties I talked with were originally from India which did not raise a red flag because of all the outsourcing but it will in the future and I will be super duper careful about getting phone numbers from a reliable source

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am waiting to see the refund credited to my account, then I will accept their actionThey called be today, and said the $amount mentioned in their last message was in error, and the refund was for the total charged of $I agree with that informationHowever, when I mentioned my computer that is still nonfunctional, they said they were very sorryNot acceptableI would like a reimbursement to cover any additional repairs to my computer or money I will need to replace that formally functioning computerSo, yes, I will let you know when the refund is credited to my accountI continue to seek reimbursement for my computerTheir technician had suggested I could go to a local computer support for repair, admitting it was not something they could repair remotelyYet, they continue to ask for another chance to repair the computerI refuse to allow them any more access to my computer after the damage and possible lost data they have already caused Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I contacted Volcy at the number they provided They offered to connect to my computer remotely and reinstall Windows without destroying any data on the machine They ridiculed me for thinking that it was not possible to do this without performing a repair install or Windows Refresh (apparently they know more than Microsoft does about it's products).My niece advised me not to ever allow them to connect to my computer again since it is Volcy who rendered my computer unusable, I cannot even boot into Windows and when I attempt a Windows repair install I am informed that it cannot be done because the Administrator account was deleted.So Volcy offered a $refund, but insisted that they had installed 2-year licenses for AVG Internet Security on her computer and they were due $for those licenses In exchange for that I was to withdraw my complaint to the Revdex.com They asked if that was acceptable As to my existing AVG licenses, the licenses I had purchased before they ever contacted me, they told me they had applied for a refund and that I could check for those refunds in my email.I have legitimate AVG products currently in force and those licenses were never extended or cancelled, they are still in force.When I checked for the AVG emails at the request of Volcy, I found that unbeknownst to me, no less than 1-year AVG PC TuneUp licenses had been purchased on my behalf on the dates of Jan 3, Jan 10, Jan 15, Jan 16, and Jan 23, for licenses for $each and licenses for $each, for a total of $185.95.Then on January 25th, a request for refund was made by Volcy for all licenses they had purchased, so they expended no money for any licenses for the version of AVG they installed on her computer later that day.When I called Volcy today to request the full refund of the $355, I spoke to Addy, who referred me to the refund emails to indicate that I had already been refunded for the subscriptions I had previously purchased, but upon checking the license numbers I found that only the license numbers that Volcy purchased and had already received refunds for to the card they used to make the purchase were refunded Nothing was actually refunded to me.I told Addy that if he wanted me to pay $for a license, then I wanted to see a copy of my license so that when we restore her computer we can take advantage of the license she is supposedly getting Addy sent me an email with the AVG Activation Key for the license he said I was paying for.He asked if that was acceptable to me and if I would withdraw the Revdex.com complaint I said I would consider it if I could verify with AVG that I could actually extend my license with that key and if the price he was charging me was the same or less than I would have paid to AVG directly.So I called AVG and gave them the license number I'd received from Volcy and it turns out that it was yet another license they'd purchased and then immediately requested a refund for So an invalid license key AVG told me this is a common practice unfortunately They also said that if someone had been scammed in this manner, they should contact AVG directly at their customer service number I called Volcy back with the information I had obtained from AVG, and Addy told me he was processing a full refund to my credit card When I receive the full refund, I will return and update this complaint Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was contacted on the telephone by [redacted] and we discussed my complaint We did not come to any agreement whatsoever After complaining to [redacted] that [redacted] did not have experience with MAC computers, only with windowsand that since I was more interested in the service for my Mac, he promised that if I had any issues with my Mac that I was to call him personally and he would make sure that I had a technician who knew how to repair Macs I complained about the amount of moneythat I had paid and that I understood that next year, while I wouldn't have to pay as much again (I believe between $and $300.), considering that they had already made my computer worse with three of their technicians incompetence My contract was to cover anyother computers, printers, etcthat I owned I explained to [redacted] that my printer was new, my windows notebook was new, my ipad was new, our windows computer that my husband uses is new so that is doubtful they would be spending a lot of time on said equipmentwhich was purchased within the last year and I do have the bills [redacted] told me I would not have to pay anything again next year and that everything would still be covered Considering that their technicians are unreliable, I couldn't agree to these terms I did say to [redacted] that if he gave me a contract and covered said equipment for athree year period that I would discuss it with my husband but I could make no promises [redacted] immediately sent me an email to say that they would accept my terms of a three year contract but I never heard anything again after that [redacted] said he does not want to refund the money but we refuse to even consider his terms unless we have a legal contract in writing, covering the equipment as stated for the three years with absolutely no more payments during that period! We have since had my Mac serviced at staples and I still wouldn't workproperly because of the damage caused by *** My daughter and I recorded all my files and reset it from factory settings and now it is fine If my daughter and I could do this, why am I paying [redacted] for something they cannot do as well as making my computer worse!
