In the past month, we used MiniMoves to move antique dining room furniture from Pennsylvania to Chicago and for a local move There were two different crews but both were exemplary with their care and service The charges were fair; the crews were hard-working and friendly; there were no problems

I recently relocated from the suburbs of Chicago to the City of ChicagoI did not have a lot of stuff to begin with, and have never hired movers before, so I was not sure what to expectI was given a quote, and depending on loading, unloading, and travel time the price could flucuateI was expecting that the drivers would take their sweet time moving things to get more moneyBoy, was I wrong! Given that I didn't have much stuff, they were able to load and unload in LESS than an hour! Travel time was about minutes, this ended up saving me about $Not only were the movers fast, but extremely professionalI was a little nervous about a few boxes that had breakables in them that I wanted to put in my car along with my flat screen tvThey ensured me that the items would be safeThey saran wrapped my TV (I didnt have a box for it), and draped big moving cloth over it to protect itDidn't even charge me to do thatI would definitely recommend the company to anyone that needs speedy service and professionals!

MiniMoves packed and moved about pieces of furniture and boxes from New York to Washington The process of arranging the move was very efficient; TK at the main office explained the process clearly and others who I dealt with were also clear, business-like, and efficientThey dealt directly with the apartment building management to provide the certificate of insurance, which was requiredThe movers themselves got there early; dealt cheerfully with the NYC parking problems; and wrapped everything in padded quilts and then plastic It all arrived in good condition

MiniMoves-Chicago was very professionalTodd [redacted] was our moving consultant...he was very detailed and made sure he understood the circumstances of the move and the specific articles we were movingThe pickup and delivery crews also were professional, took great care with our belongings and were very timelyThe move was completed efficiently with minimal involvement on our partThe only reason this is not rated a five-star is that we made one request re: the desire for a specific pickup date and were told that it would be accommodated, however, the pick up crew came two days earlier than our requested dateAll in all, a very pleasant experience

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it is not trueNot once have I EVER attempted to request a full refundAs I told everyone I spoke to the amount was lingering on my credit card for months and would begin to accrue interestI can told them I would not pay until service was complete (which I have now done as I have everything back) and that they could then fully charge me againI have MULTIPLE emails stating this and will be happy to provide themthe second thing that is not trueI have asked twice now for proof I signed up for the "loss valuation" and they have yet to provide me with anythingI have an email from my move coordinator two days before my scheduled pick up trying to talk me into it even though I had declinedI was not there for the pick up so when did I supposedly elect this option?I have asked for two things, neither of which MiniMoves EVER has addressedFix the problemDo NOT let people continue to do shoddy repairs on the flyDemand a stop to that practice, however their instance on overlooking it leads one to assume they condone the behaviorThis makes MiniMoves liable to far more issues and shows their lack of morals I do believe I am owed for the time I took off work due to their negligenceFunny how MiniMoves never responds to that factFIVE times I took off work, four of those are b/c of their incompetencyOf those four times it required hours of not being at workI do feel I am owed that back in compensation.I do not want to hear back another reply with anything other than a response to those two items as well as proof of my election of their extra coverageIt is condescending as well as a waste of everyone's' time Sincerely, [redacted]

My experience with MiniMoves was excellent! My parents had both passed away and my sister and I had the enormous task of clearing out their home in order for us to sell it I had a series of boxes and a few pieces of light furniture to move from CT to WI Since we didn't have enough items to fill a very large moving truck, MiniMoves was the ideal solution for our needs Everyone on the phone and during the move was friendly, helpful and professional The packaging and moving was done with care The best part was the flexibility of MiniMoves...I was unable to be home on the date they originally planned to deliver, but they were able to reschedule at a later date when I could be available I would recommend them to anyone needing a "mini move"

I had less than one week to figure out how to get my belongings packed and shipped out of state with the added pressure of finding a reputable, reliable and inexpensive moving company that could help me I was referred to MiniMoves after making several phone calls and Internet searchesI made one inquiry with their company and they got back to me immediately to let me know they could get the job done Their representative was extremely knowledgable and patient with meI received my things within the stated time frame and they were intactThe delivery guy was professional and very helpful with making sure my things were delivered in a safe and accessible space at my new address Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better moving and delivery experience
