I am absolutely delighted with MiniMoves. They moved some furniture, dishes and miscellaneous items from Kalamazoo,MI to New York City. On both ends they did exactly what they promised and kept me informed. They were professional, courteous and pleasant.

Had a good experience. Felt professional.

Movers showed up 2 hours late.
Packed 2 televisions in homemade packing materials as opposed to professional TV boxes as promised.
Was told 2 week delivery. Now three weeks, still not here.
Customer service has zero sense of urgency. Takes them a day or two to respond to emails with very little details of what is going on.
Charged my credit card before my stuff arrived.

We were very happy with our moving experience. We had several items shipped to our son's house across country. The process was explained well and the only difference was that it arrived a few days early. We requested extra packing on some items and all arrived as sent.

Very polite and did a nice job

Staff packed over 150 boxes and delivered them across country intact, no breakage. Couldn't be happier with service at both ends of the move!

MiniMoves transported an antique executive desk for me from San Antonio to St Louis. From pickup to delivery, the service was excellent. I am so pleased with MiniMoves and highly recommend them.

Excellent service, pre-scheduled reminder, call and email, professional personnel, on time pick up and delivery. Neat, polite, makes sure customer is satisfied. Would recommend for long distance moves, I'm a return customer.

I recently used MiniMoves for my move to a different state. I have moved many times and this was the easiest move with the most efficient company I have ever used. They provided excellent communication to me throughout the entire move process. I have already recommended them to several friends and would not hesitate to use them again for my next move. I especially like the concept of not having to meet a weight limit---MiniMoves worked with me to assure I had the best rate. They also offered a discount for seniors.

Mini Movers made moving my belongings from a storage unit in the Chicago area to San Diego absolutely painless. T.K. added me to their Saturday schedule with only 2 days notice. Movers William and Chava were prompt and packed up my belongings with care and efficiency. Alma in the office kept me updated on when to expect my shipment and the [redacted] Movers personnel in San Diego made sure I received all of my items.

Superb customer service. Explained the process, costs, and options. Helped walk through the on-line contract. On-site people were professional. Wrapped pieces on-site for crating at terminal. Delivery earlier than expected. Well informed at each step. Kudos!! Will recommend highly..

This is regarding a move we made through MiniMoves in Feb. 2015. The entire move which consisted of just 5 boxes was a harrowing experience and the lack of professionalism shown by the customer service staff is appalling. Here are the specific incidents which caused us unnecessary headache:

1) The original pick-up was scheduled for 11am-3pm and we were told that we will get a call at least 30 mins before they arrive for pick-up. They called us at 1.30 pm to change the time to 4.30 pm. In spite of us agreeing to that, they called us again at 3 pm (without the 30 min notice), waited till 3.20 pm and left without a pick-up. We told them repeatedly to wait for 5 more minutes for us to get back but no luck there.

2) The customer service agent we spoke to after this incident *shouts* at us saying we have to pay a $85 charge for re-scheduling the pick-up. This was the most unfriendly customer-service we have ever had to deal with. The manager was extremely rude and did not value his customers. After repeated calls to two different agents, they finally rescheduled the pick-up almost a week after the original date.

3) The delivery in Boston was to be made to our 3rd floor apartment. This was made clear while booking (and the address was provided which also explains the parking scenario in the area). However the delivery guy simply refused to take the boxes up the elevator citing his truck being in a no-parking zone. We even volunteered to stand by the truck, but again, no luck arguing with him. He pressed on rescheduling the delivery stating it was a 2-man job. My need to receive my boxes without further delays (which were already ample), forced me to transport the boxes to the 3rd floor all by myself.

Will not recommend this business to anyone - bad dispatchers, worst customer service.

On 7/18/17, MiniMoves quoted Ms. [redacted] a price of $4,946.49 to pick-up her shipment on August 1st, 2017, store the items, and then deliver the shipment back to the same location. After speaking with Ms. [redacted], updates were made to the shipment, and the agreement was signed and returned on 7/26/17...

at a price of $5,071.49. MiniMoves arrived on 8/1/17 to pick-up the shipment. Initially 3 movers arrived to the residence. The same day, a 4th mover reached the location to assist the other movers. Due to the amount of items and packing involved, the crew did not complete the job on 8/1/17 and returned on 8/3/17 to finish the move. Once the pick-up was completed, there were changes to the items and the price increased to $6,828.60 which included the 1st month of storage (August), pick-up and delivery cost. Ms. [redacted] mentioned she was not happy with the price and a discount was given to her in the amount of $681.40 bringing the move cost to $6,147.20. On 9/11/17, MiniMoves corresponded with Ms. [redacted] to confirm a date of 9/26/17 for delivery out of storage. September’s storage cost was prorated bringing the monthly payment to $537.83. The updated move balance came to $6,685.03. Ms. [redacted] made a credit card payment of $5,494.60 leaving a balance of $1,190.43. The shipment delivered on 9/26/17. Ms. [redacted] called to report damage and a claim form was emailed to her. On 10/4/17 Ms. [redacted] filed a claim for damage to a headboard, mattress, chairs, end table, bookcase, lamp, lampshade, and a mezuzah. She noted replacement costs close to $12,000.00. On 10/5/17, following the acknowledgement of Ms. [redacted]’s claim form, she was reminded about her outstanding balance in the amount of $1,190.43. Ms. [redacted] disagreed with the amount based on the way her items were packed and wanted a discount. On 10/13/17, MiniMoves agreed with Ms. [redacted] to a discount of $200.00 for improper packing. The balance for the move costs came to $990.43. The balance was paid on 10/16/17. We then moved forward with processing the claim with our insurance company, [redacted] Insurance Group. On 10/19/17, the insurance company made contact with Susan and let her know before the claim could be settled; an inspection had to be completed. After the inspection was completed, the adjuster responded to Susan with an update. The total settlement for the claim came to $5,186.00. The damage claim was settled through our insurance company, [redacted] Insurance Group. The adjuster, Nancy Ferraro, provided a fair assessment based on an inspection performed by a quality repair firm. Ms. [redacted] can contact the insurance adjuster if she has an issue with the claim settlement. Ms. [redacted] received a total discount in the amount of $881.40 from MiniMoves for the issues that occurred during the move. MiniMoves’ adjustment and credits were very fair.  Unfortunately, MiniMoves cannot apply additional discounts.
