I have home service with AT&T including [redacted] Hi def with slimline dish)I purchased a [redacted] receiver ( not hi def because [redacted] does not offer hi def with the automatic antenna) to take with me in my RVMy contract was extended more years and I paid for installation of the new mobile receiverThe installer brought the receiver to my house 11/04/I had purchased a mobile [redacted] automatic antenna (inch round dish) ready for the technician to configure the new receiverThe technician said he is not allowed to configure [redacted] receiver to any antenna not owned by [redacted] therefore he configured the receiver to my home [redacted] dishI took the receiver and my auto dish on a trip in my RV and was unable to obtain a picture on the TVI called [redacted] and this is when my problems startedI was on the phone for hours and getting nowhereI was transferred away from technical support to billing twiceThe receiver was unable to be configured away from a slimline dish to a inch round dishNo one could assist me in resolving this simple issueI was sold a receiver that is incomapatable with a mobile, aitomatic dishPer [redacted] CUSTOMER AGREEMENT OUR SERVICE (2) (g) Mobile Units - We provide service to receiving equipment installed in mobile units such as campers, boats, and other recreational vehiclesI do not understand why [redacted] sells equipment as mobile units when they are unable to activate them onto someone's previous [redacted] service (because they are made by a company other than [redacted] I have spent over hours dealing with this headache without a resolution in sight

Horrible customer service Increases rates on [redacted] after months of service and when I canceled they miss quoted the cancellation fee ($quoted and then charged $400) and then tacked the bill onto my Internet bill Cant understand half of their representatives I made payment arrangements and then the person I spoke with after those arrangements were made couldnt even figure them out

I placed a $product on monthly payments for months when I first signed up with ATTI tried to pay it in full but was told it would just be added to my bills for months Later down the road I moved and had my services transferred to the new homeDuring this time, my last bill read two dollars and some change from a credit I had for paying moreThe following months bill was paid in full and on timeIts important to note I have almost always had a credit on my account from over paying, or credits givenI get a call today saying that I have been sent to collections for a unpaid billWhile not sure how this has happened,I give att a callCome to learn, the canceled my old account, created a new account, and didn't move the balance for that $product to the new accountInstead they just let it sit and expected me to just know it still existedCome late December I get a email saying I have an unpaid balanceI check, nope its at So I ignore it like the email instructsThey ended up sending it to collectionsI called and they admit being wrong and didn't move the balance and understood how it went unnoticed, but argued that I should have checked the old accountBy the way, I cannot access a account that has been canceled, so no way for me to identify I had a balance, especially when the last bill was $and some change and my following bill was paidThey expected me to understand how their company operates behind the scenes, and that I should have known that they canceled a account, opened another one, and didn't join the twoAt this time they are refusing to write a letter to collections saying the debit was paid in full and ATT was at fault for sending to collections, due to their negligenceThey did offer a months free service, to that I declinedIts not about the money, its about my credit potentially being negatively impacted because of their lack of communicationWaiting for a "higher authority" to call and see if they can help because its getting "escalated"For those of you who move addresses, please inquire about future bills and if they will combined accounts or notAlso, when you call back and talk about an account, make sure you inquire about past accounts that were canceledNot once did anyone feel it was important to mention I had a unpaid bill In the number of times I called

I have been trying to contact ATT by phone for over an hourEach number I call sends me to a robot answering serviceAfter repeated questions the robot says he's going to transfer me to a live agent but actually transfers me to a woman's voice speaking Japanese that tells me to go onto their web site and then hangs upThis has happened times in a row

December 19th To Whom It May Concern: In September I visited the AT&T office located on mile road in Chesterfield TWP MIThe office manager Rita E [redacted] and owner Shar K [redacted] gave me information about services the company providesI was interesting in changing my Verizon account to AT&TRita told me she would pay off the balance of my Verizon bill, which was $Also informed me my new monthly phone bill would be $She said to have my daughter go in and switch out their phones and she would also provide us with free android tablesI told Rita to send all the billing statements to [redacted] View Drive North and I was the only one to authorize any changes made to the accountOn October 18th I received a phone call from the corporate office saying here was a problem with this account and they put out a fraud alertThe following day I went back I went back into the office (for the sixth time) and Rita assured me the problem had been fixedCome to find out later that my daughter had been in there that Friday and a male employee who impersonated me Rita allowed this man to fraudulently give AT&T wrong informationIt took six weeks for her to fix the unethical practices and she completely scammed me, there is no telling how much money and family lost that had happened because of her scandal This started the manipulation and decrepit of what was to come the next six weeksVerizon is now sending me notices that they are taking action on my credit rating that was a perfect plus scoreI did receive a check from AT&T for $on September 30th, which I gave to VerizonMy new balance was $minus the leaving the account balance at $It has been seven weeks and Rita tells me it can take up to three months for AT&T to pay off VerizonOn December second AT&T call my daughter; she was deeply upset and crying because she had to pay the phone bill off on her own personal charge cardThe bills were sent to the wrong address, this is the address the male employee at Rita office gave to the corporate which was caused by Fraud altersI finally got the bill on December seventh stating I owe AT&Tj $and charging me for phone lines and the four of the tables and three more lines must be registered to Shar K [redacted] (the owner)Now nobody in the store wants to talk because there are all aware of the fraudulent, deceitful, and manipulation conversations are recorded with AT&TThe owner and manage should never give another employee permission to authorization to speak to any corporate officers to answer questions and impersonate me I personally think that Rita or Shar wanted their commissions and misleading had taken place because of all the issues due to the stores and the employees at itPlease investigate further into why these problems keep arising, it caused my family a lot of distressI would very much appreciate it if there was an investigation on how this specific AT&T store employees were trained and how I could feel safe choosing this company for networking purposesThis is not what I signed up for and am very angry that Rita conned me into her scam and allowed another male to make changes on my accountThis is wrong on multiple different levels and I want the problem corrected immediately, I am very overwhelmed with these issues and cannot afford to have this type of stress in my life [redacted] S [redacted] (***)***- [redacted] @juno.com [redacted] view drive north New Baltimore, MI

AT&T has committed fraud against meThere isn't enough space for my entire complaint, but I had absolutely no good experiences in the very short time I was with this company (January 18th to January 30th)I cancelled my services within days simply because of the awful customer serviceThis means that I should not be charged a single cent due to the day money back guarantee policyOn February 14th, I was grocery shopping when I received a transaction alert from my bank stating that I had been charged $(The total of the first bill AT&T was sending me that was DISPUTED in the first place and should NOT have been charged for that amount on that dayIt was supposed to be $on Feb 27th, but this is beside the point because I should NOT have been charged in the first place), and that my bank account was now severely overdraftedI have since been landed with several overdraft feesI called AT&T once my bank said they couldn't do anything until the charge was no longer pending, and the associate who "helped" me attempted to humiliate me, lied by omission about my situation, and attempted to get out of giving me a refund in a conference call to another associate in Bowling GreenAfter that other associate in Bowling Green said that I needed to be refunded IMMEDIATELY, the first associate ended the conference call and told me "Sorry, our offices have closedThere's nothing I can do for youCall back tomorrow," at 6:pmI called back the next day and found out that someone (I think it was the Bowling Green associate) had submitted a ticket and had labeled it as High PriorityI was told I would receive a call by the afternoon of the 15th, which is todayIf I do not receive a call by 3:pm central standard time, I will be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and I will be filing a Fraud Dispute with my bankI am absolutely sick and tired of being patient with this company and I will not take it anymore

I go into the store in San Antonio, TX on San Pedro to have them look at my phone because it went out after only monthsPrior to the phone going out, it got really hotThe store was empty but I still had to wait to be seenThe Techinician I had didn't know what she was doing and pulls out this magnifying glass and stared at the top of my phone where the camera is locatedShe tells me oh you have scratches on your phone that's why it doesn't workNow keep in mind my phone is in a protective case and I've never dropped itI ask her to show me where I had scratches and instead of doing that she asks two other co-workers if they saw scratches and of course they glance at my phone and says yesI looked at them all as if they were on drugsThey then tell me we can't help youYou have to buy another phoneI was furious and left the store only because I was on my lunch breakI called [redacted] and they asked me to send my phone to their repair center [redacted] replaced my phone for free and told me I didn't have any scratches (as I knew that) and my phone was probably defective when manufacturedI just got a bad phone but the fact that AT&T tried to extort money from me made me even more irate I was with [redacted] for or years and never had bad customer service and only went to AT&T because of my husbands job If I can get [redacted] to take on some of this contract/phone purchase, I'm going back and I'm canceling my home [redacted] service as wellStay away from this place.....you've been warned

AT&T is a completely and utterly heinous companyWe have had so many terrible experiences with themMy husband used to work for them so he knows both sides of how terribly they treat their employees and their customersThey kept wages and commission checks from him for months after quitting, and over four months later still have not paid him for his last commission check We also ordered digital life security service, but canceled before anything was installedIt has been well over three months and still no refundEvery time we call, none of the poorly or completely untrained staff can figure out how to issue the refundAlso they have no supervisors in that department to speak with They have stolen money, lied to, and ripped of so many customersThey have a 92% negative customer rating on this site, yet they still have an A+ ratingIt is completely absurd that this company can conduct business in such a manner and still be held unaccountable for anythingIt is so frustrating that this company can do what ever they want and get away with it

To whom it may concern, My husband and I have had AT&T service for well over eight yearsOver the last year we have experienced some of the worst customer service ever from a utilities companyFor the last six months we have had NO telephone serviceWe have made multiple phone calls to the 1-number provided for your company and have yet to have a resolution to our issueIn our customer file it should show that we have made multiple service call requestsOn the last service request we made the technician was due to come to our house between and PM to perform the service callMy husband took off work early that day and sat at our home from PM till PM and no one showedThe next day by the stroke of luck the phone worked for a brief period (one day, hours)But today the phone once again does not workWe have a two-month-old child in our home that is being watched by a nannyOur nanny is an elderly lady that does not utilize a cell phone, therefore we MUST have a home phone in order to ensure the safety of our newborn childIf anything was to happen our my child and we were unable to call for help because of your company I would imagian that leagal actions would followI am now documenting every issue that we have had from your companyWe have also purchased a new home phone in an effort to ensure that it was not an issue on our part -January 11, at 2:pm I called the 1-number and was told that I would receive a call back within minutes to run through some "technical test"After a minute wait no one called me back on the phone number I provided for them to call me back at -Again on January 11, at 3:PM I called the 1-number and was put on hold for minutesOnce again there is no resolution from your company and also no customer service At this point I do not care who I talk to since your company has not provided the service that we are paying you for in the last monthsI would assume that with the proper documentation your company would be held liable for not providing the services that are being purchased by us the customer in the court system At this time I am requesting that you refund the last six months that we have paid for your services and received no service from you [redacted] & [redacted] (Non-working home phone number)

A person came to the door of our apartment and said that AT&T Fiber was available in our complex in Lake Wylie I called AT&T and they said "yes Fiber is available I repeatedly asked them if they were sure it was the new ultra fast Fiber and they kept saying yes so I set up a date for the install I made another call the weekend before just to double check and make sure that it was indeed the new Fiber that I would be getting The date of the install, the technician informed that it was NOT Fiber, but regular copper line High Speed internet AT&T has done nothing but said "sorry but that's the fastest that we have in your area" They sold me services on pretenses

Avoid this evil, soulless, predatory corporation at all costDon't believe me? Then don'tProceed into their nightmare world that will be a threat to your physical and mental healthI swear, the endless, monthly multiple phone calls (September 23, through January 6, as of this post have enraged me to the point they could cause me a heart attack or stroke, my blood pressure has no doubt gone sky highI have kept a log of each phone call I have made to them documenting their sick, convoluted statements, their "system" of meaningless "promises" To make a very long and ongoing story short, I signed up for their U-verse voice and internet service on 9/23/over the phoneI was told it was $a month for the first year promotional rate plus the usual fees and taxesThey are still billing me $a month (the standard rate)Each month when I get the $bill I call and go through a long, convoluted, hardball, surreal back and forth negotiation over my rateThey are dishonestThey are liarsThey often claim somebody made a "mistake" or "I don't know what happened." AT&T is either stunningly incompetent and dysfunctional or, more plausible, engaged in a systematic bait and switch fraud operationBy the way, I went through the identical billing nightmare when I signed up for their U-verse at a different address in 2007, so this is not a coincidenceThe fact that they are allowed to keep getting away with this is due to their near monopoly, behemoth market positionThey need to be broken up into smaller, regulatable and accountable companies so that smaller companies can compete with themThis also illustrates the degree of corruption of our society and political system, that the law enforcement agencies aren't prosecuting AT&TI have filed complaints with the FTC (corporate Democrat Obama appointees), the Florida Attorney General (a Republican), the Florida Division of Consumer Services (Republican) and the Miami-Dade County Office of Consumer ProtectionWhat do you want to bet that they do nothing about this? They haven't in the past ten yearsEven Consumer Reports sends me form letters back and has never reported this issue in their magazine

I had been a year customer of AT&T Recently I changed wireless companies My final bill was not prorated I believe $to be at issue AT&T is telling me that it is now their policy not to prorate No refund will be given Terrible I have been on the phone and online without success

Would like to highly compliment AT&T with their contractor's installation of "AT&T GigaPower" in our neighborhood....I am presently the president of our HOA and their contact, a Brent at XXX-XXX-XXXX, could not have been nicer or more coorperative with us during and after their installation of this system in [redacted] in Huntsville, Alabama

AT&T contacted me months ago to upgrade my internetWhen the tech was there he said that my [redacted] needed new equipment to be connected to the internetThe companies are owned by AT&TI have spent several hours on their "chat", on the phone and waiting on and having technicians in my houseStill am not connectedAsked to disconnect all services and was promised to get equipment sent in order to stay with AT&T/ [redacted] Today I find out the equipment was not ordered and they do not want to stand my the commitment to send the equipment in order to keep my businessLosing customers one bad customer service experience at a time!

We decided to switch from AT&T for our phone, cable, and Internet to [redacted] We were told to cancel our services with AT&T days before [redacted] was to be installedWe called on a Tuesday to cancel AT&T on Thursday so our [redacted] could be installed on SaturdayThe woman on the phone said we could have our service cut off on Saturday and there would be no problemsWe said it had to be days before the new service was to be installedShe said we would be fineSaturday morning we got a text that the service person would be at our house between 8_amWhen came and went we called the service people and they said our order was canceledWe have now spent hrs on the phone trying to get our service back on and the best AT&T said they can do is Sat, Nov 26, one week laterThis is unacceptable!

AT&T is unable to assist me in closing my accountI have been out of the country for over a year and my phone was suspended with the intent to stay with AT&T when I returned from the statesMy circumstances have changed, and now I want to cancel my service The problem is I never set up a passcodeIt is a measure to improve AT&T's security, which is a good thing, but I have to provide a passcode that I never set up in order to cancel my service In order to set up a passcode, they have to send me a validation code over the wireless number or email associated with the accountFirst, I don't have the phone or SIM in my current locationSecond, the email associated with the account has a spelling error and I can't change the email without a passcode The customer service representatives have been respectful and understanding of my situation, however, AT&T has not provided me with an alternative means to cancel my serviceMeanwhile, I have to pay $per month for a phone I am not using

I have been a customer of at&t for over years but due to what happened during the last week and a half made me determined that this company scams people and its customer service is absolutely horrible! Here is my story: I wanted to unlock my iphone so I called customer service a week and a half agoI asked the customer service representative how much I owed on my device, provided him with a credit card and asked for instructions regarding how to unlock my iPhoneHe advised me of my balance, charged my credit card and said that I will be able to go to the link on their website after hours, plug in my imei ad24-hours later my devise will be unlockedSounds very simple! Well, it is not the caseafter hours I tried going on the link but it kept saying that I still owed installements, I tried it again and again for several more days but it kept insisting that I still owed money even though my credit card was chargedI called customer service and after being placed on hold for over minutes I was told by the representative that she wasn't sure why I couldn't follow simple instructions that the link providedAccording to her, when she plugged in my imei it workedShe told me to sit tight for more hours and I will receive an email that my phone was unlockedWell, I received an email that my phone was unlocked, met with a buyer, she tried to use her sim and it said that I still owed installments in the phoneI was so embarrassed because I'm sure to the buyer it seemed like I was trying to scam her! I called att again and they insisted that my phone was unlockedAfter being on the phone with them over an hour and being transferred multiple times because apparently I have a combined account with my internet and tv (which I thought was supposed to make it easy), every time I had to be transferred because every person kept saying that there is nothing they could do to help: unlocking department was saying that I owe money and transferred me back to accounts receivable, they kept saying that my bill was paid and transferred me back, supervisors kept saying that they can't see my bill because it was combined and thus couldn't do anything to resolveEventually, one customer service representative figured out that unfortunately the imei that was used by the customer service representative was not even mine, she accidentally unlocked somebody else's phoneShe told me not to worry, she opened a case for me and said that within hours my phone will be unlockedI asked her to confirm that my payment was applied correctly, towards my devise and she said yesWell, after several days I received an email from att stating that my request for unlocking was denied because I owed money on the devise!!!! At this point I was so frustrated that I called the cancellation department to pay off my bill completely and to cancel my serviceThe cancellation department accidentally pulled my old account (by using my current cell phone number that I had over years and never changed) and told me that my account was cancelled in and I had a credit of $on my account since then!!!! I was in shock, how is it even legal that a company kept $of my money for over years and I never received any notice, check, nothing!!! I told the cancellation department that I would like this money to be applied towards my remaining balance but she said that unfortunately she couldn't do that and she would have to transfer me againI have been transferred again and again and again, nobody is giving me my money back, nobody is unlocking my phone ands seems like nobody has any idea what is going on as everybody keeps giving me completely different informationI spent a total of over hours on the phone calling att, most of that time was spent being transferred from place to place and I still do not have any answers, they still have my $and my phone is still lockedI asked them to get me in contact with their supervisors but they either refuse or hang up on me after putting me on hold!!!!!! At this point I'm not sure whether I should take it to a lawyer or to the news! I recorded my last conversation which lasted over minutes of me being transferred multiple times, by the end of it I was promised that somebody will contact me back with resolution but nobody did

The cut a hole in my floor and ripped my carpetThey have a 3rd party handling it who is refusing to do anything and called me a liar

I had a DSL account with AT&T; I had to close the account because I was getting over billed almost every month When I call billing, a billing rep will make an adjustment on the account for me to pay for the bill; then, the following month, the bill amount will be doubling I had to spend an hour or more of my time to be on the phone with AT&T customer service every month for the last months; so I can get a correct bill Finally, I decided to close the account; I called and closed the account with a customer service rep I had to pay off the account, so she can close it Then, a couple of months, later, I realized that the account was never closed; I called again; a rep promised me to take care of it He told me that he will have notes on the account; so everyone will know that the account is closed and brought to "0" balance months later, I received a notice from a collection agency, trying to collect for past due balances from AT&T AT&T customer service reps don't speak the same language; they are not coordinated; they are not on the same page with providing the same information to customers; they don't add any notes in their systems following phone calls; their systems are not communicating I learned all of those things from calling them, almost every month to pay a correct bill
