On Wednesday, February 24th at 3:39pm, Mr [redacted] called and stated that they wanted to submit a settlement proposal with an offer to keep the current panels at a reduced priceI explained to him that since the panels are not saving us the 40% guaranteed, we would not accept such an offer but he was free to email it to meI never received the said proposal or any further information/communication from Mr [redacted] which further proves their lack of urgency to handle our problem while we continue to pay high energy bills AND for their product My wife and I have explained to Mr [redacted] that we purchased their product with a written guarantee that they would save us 40% with the product they installedSince their product has failed to perform, we do not want to pay a reduced price for it nor do we want any of their doors, windows, light bulbs or energy tips to make our house more energy efficient We purchased the solar panels with a written guarantee that they would save us 40% They are not saving us money and as a matter of fact, most months our energy usage is even higher that last year at the same time They state on their website that they have a satisfaction guaranteeWe are not satisfied and just want them to remove the panels, completely repair the roof and refund our money

Did you receive my call last week regarding my not getting the check they say that they sent back in Decof for $Their response was to let them know because the check has not been cashedThey would stop payment on that check and re-issue anotherHas that been done?

We understand your concerns regarding the warranty of the equipment, the warranties and installation process is part of the presentation and always discussed thoroughly at the point of sale Most consumers like yourself, are very business savvy and ask numerous questions regarding any warranties either implied or not Also, for every transaction a Quality Control call is completed to confirm the terms and associated costs We do not require a signed document to obtain your savings assurance, therefore we do not ask our customers to sign any additional documentation regarding this As you mentioned, once there was a savings issue realized, we did respond by installing additional equipment free of charge There was also a roof issue due to your metal roof and the clips used at install and we worked with you then to help the best we possibly could You contacted us mentioning your reimbursement and we processed it as you requested Once a savings assurance reimbursement is paid we do require a release to be signed in agreement with the payment Our intent was to honor our agreement and reimburse you per your request There are numerous aspects that have a direct affect on your electrical and gas usage The estimated amount of savings depends as much on our equipment as the residents energy consumption habits, which is why we offer the savings assurance to reimburse any difference If you are refusing the reimbursement check, would like to mail the check back to us and we can setup a time to discuss further options*We were unable to download or read any of the stated attached documents regarding this matterPlease let us know your thoughts Thank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to [redacted] on the day I received this Revdex.com response, Monday 10-24- I had responded to her analysis and offer of $$via e-mail on Friday, 10-21- She said she did not receive the e-mail so I resent the email to her, read the e-mail to her, and then faxed the email to her after the phone call During the phone call she told me now all we need to do is have me sign a release and then I would get the check in November There has been no contact since Monday, neither phone nor email Regards, [redacted]
