I’m happy with my decision to use Worthy to sell my wedding jewlery. I was a bit skeptical at first, but Josh, my personal account manager was right there with me the whole time, ready and available to speak with me via text, phone and email. If I ever have jewlery to sell again, I’ll use worthy. Thanks for walking me through the process, Josh!!

Worthy.com Response • Jan 07, 2019

Thank you ***. On Behalf of Josh and the entire Worthy team, we are glad you made the decision to use Worthy to sell your jewelry. Worthy is safe, secure and as you stated, kept you informed every step of the way.
Kind regards,
The Worthy Team

I want to think the Worthy team and Josh R, as my auction manager, for all their help! Josh was very understanding that the piece we were trying to sell was more to us than just a piece of jewelry. He did everything possible to make sure we were happy with every decision we made and never pressured us into anything we didn’t agree to. I am so pleased for the outcome of our sell and I would recommend Worthy as a GREAT auction team to work with and don’t forget to ask for Josh R!

I just wanted to say what a great company Worthy Inc. is. I would highly recommend them. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous. All my questions and concerns were address in a timely manner by Mel and Josh. The receptionist at Worthy Vanessa has
has fantastic customer service skills which now days seems so rare.

The process was simple and Melissa and Chad were very good with communication and explaining everything to me. I was nervous to send the jewelry in the mail but the tracking and insurance may it very secure. Melissa was helpful and I felt the price I received was fair. I would recommend Worthy!

Thank you *** for acknowledging our team at Worthy. We created the Worthy auction to be safe and secure and to provide you with competitive bids. Thank you for recommending Worthy.
Kind regards.

Worthy (Josh) was very patient with all my questions and helped me through the process of selling my rings. It was a smooth process and they take care of everything.

Worthy.com Response • Jan 07, 2019

Hi ***,
Thank you for recognizing Worthy and our team. Our goal is to provide a seamless and easy experience.
All our best,
Worthy

Poor communication and they offered me $130 for a ring I paid over $4K for. I can get a better return at a pawn shop. I am having it reappriased when I get it. If I get it. They haven't responded in 3 days since I declined their ridiculous offer. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Worthy.com Response • Jan 07, 2019

Hi ***,
Worthy works very hard to communicate with each and every seller throughout the entire selling experience so that you are kept informed every step of the way. We have been in contact with you via emails, text and phone calls during the entire process. Our goal at Worthy is to help educate you about your ring. While you submitted online your ring as a 1 ct diamond ring, when reviewed and graded, it was actually a .2ct round center stone diamond with 83 minor stones ranging from .0064-.0067 in size, plus 8 side stones between .0262-.0300 each. This type of multiple small stone ring is often sold by the total carat weight and not by the individual stone size by retail stores. Knowing how carat weight and total carat weight work is crucial in understanding how diamonds are priced. We have an article that is very helpful to understanding the diamond terms: ***
Per your request, your ring was returned and shipped back to you on 12/27 showing receipt on 12/31.
All our best,
The Worthy Team

You offer of 140 for a ring I paid over 4 thousand dollars for is and was insulting. I am having it reappraised. Whatever you say in your comment above sounds like nonsense to me and I will never recommend anyone to your company. Good day.

Customer Response • Jan 08, 2019

Also, when the ring went for quick sale...I had to seek you out for responses so please do not lie. You did not communicate through the entire process. I have no texts, lie. I initiated the phone calls because no one was responding to my emails after you hounded me for the ring. Once you had it, I had to initiate emails. Please do not lie. I have the communicate and I can provide screenshots if need be. Your company is a joke.

I sent my Robbins Brothers wedding ring set (valued at $9,000.00) to Worthy, Inc. to place in an online auction. At the end of the auction, I did not want to accept the low offer under $800.00, so I contacted the company to inform them of my final decision of not to accept the offer. The Worthy customer service agent informed me that the ring would be kept in their possession. The funds were deposited in my account at the end of the auction, so I sent a check, via postal mail, so that Worthy, Inc. could send my wedding ring set back to me.

However, I received a call from Worthy, Inc. to inform me of the bad news that my wedding ring set was sent to the potential buyer by accident. Worthy, Inc. tried to contact the buyer but they were not able to obtain the wedding ring set.

I then spoke to Randy A about coming to an initial agreement. It has been nearly two months and the agreement has not been fulfilled.

submitted a bridal set cluster ring set. The center setting was made up of 4 stones, each ranging 0.2375 -0.2500 in size. The side stones totalled 102 small stones ranging in size 0.0284-0.0294. The ring was evaluated and the trending market resell value for these size stones was given $550.00-$675.00. Robbins Brothers is a Jewelry Retailer and establishes their own retail prices for their rings based on their brand name, styling and workmanship. For the resell value, each stone is accounted for based on its size and characteristics not based on the retail value. The Worthy highest bid at auction was $738.00 less the 22% success fee, netted, $575.64. Worthy issued payment on 10/*** for $575.64. *** requested the return of his item. Worthy had already sold it at auction to one of our professional online buyers and we were not able to pull it back. *** returned the $575.64 to Worthy on 10/. Since the item was sold, Worthy re-issued payment of $575.64 on 11/. Worthy also sent $100.00 Amazon gift card as a customer service outreach in light of the confusion that occured. *** received the fair market value for his items. Please advise and let us know what his specific request is so we can understand his complaint issued to Revdex.com. Thank you.

I am so glad I found Worthy. They are really very professional. They always inform you of every step from receiving the items, to being photographed, to when the auction finishes. You are in safe hands. The best thing is if you dont agree to the price, they will send your item back. I've auctioned few of my items and I am glad I did it with Worthy

Melissa M did a wonderful job of making me feel secure and worked with me to get the most money out of my ring. She also provided support through a hard time as I have struggled going through a divorce and getting rid of the ring was an emotional rollercoaster. It was hard to do but she was there to talk me through it and was understanding beyond what I would expect. Worthy did an excellent job.

Melissa M got me an even higher price after a successful auction. This experience, because of her was painless. Thank you again to Melissa!

Worthy.com Response • Dec 17, 2018

Thank you for kind review and recognizing Melissa for the stella service she delivered. Worthy values our clients and our team and understands the importance of communication, trust and responsibility to get you the best value. All our best, The Worthy Team

After numerous recommendations, I knew Worthy.com was where I should sell my rings. The staff was accessible and Melissa was incredibly helpful, honest, straightforward and talked me through the entire process. It was so easy! I knew what to expect and when, which eliminated any confusion. I would definitely use this site again! By not utilizing Worthy, you would be doing yourself a disservice. Many thanks to the team!

Great communication from staff. Great support. Went the extra mile to get the highest bid!

Worthy.com Response • Dec 10, 2018

Communicating with our clients is very important. Our goal is your goal to get you to most for your item via the Worthy auction competitive bidding process.

Simple process, quick payment...100 percent satisfied...

Overall the experience (selling) was about what I expected and a very good service. Hassle-free, kept well-informed the whole time, and no complaints about ethics or trustworthiness.
While you will obviously be selling at a large discount to what you bought a diamond for, it seems to be about in line with what other online places offer. However, for peace of mind, the slightly reduced price is probably worth it, even after the 22% commission. Josh R. was my customer associate and he was excellent the whole time. Easy to reach, we communicated by both phone and email, and seems to be genuinely on your side.
Overall I would recommend to family/friends.
PROS: Easy, Worry-free (i.e. I'm not getting scammed and someone isn't stealing my diamond), Fast, better than pawning and probably better than anything your local dealer would offer.
CON: Once the commission for overhead is deducted, expect to sell at steep discount. Again, not Worthy's fault, that's the price you pay for convenience, speed, and no risk.

Worthy did a wonderful job managing my auction. They were able to get me the price I was looking for and were excellent communicators throughout the process. Thank you Melissa.

Hi ***,
Thank you for sharing your selling experience and letting others know about your successful auction. We will share your review with Melissa and the Worthy team. Kind regards. Worthy

I sent my wedding ring to *** was put up for auction. I never accepted the auction price and they have said I did and my ring was sold as of today December *,2018. I called a representative and said it couldn’t be resolved untill Monday I will be contacting a lawyer if my ring is not returned.

Worthy.com Response • Dec 10, 2018

on 12/*/2018, approved her auction sale using the Worthy online auction and clicked the approval offer and shared her preferred method to receive her payment. Worthy issued her the ACH Bank Transfer payment of

$1684.80 on 12/*/2018. *** accepted the offer and provided her payment information so Worthy moved forward with the sale of her ring. She has received payment. Of note, we have reached out to call her and to text her and her line is

not responsive and is out of service so we have no means to connect with her. We do have confirmation of her receipt of the bank transfer. Worthy considers this transaction final.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

These were the 2 new messages and the last messages from worthy I received I never agreed upon the last bid only if the bid was higher than 2500.00 and called that to find out where my ring was!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely

did accept the bid and in so doing Worthy issued her a bank check. She has received the money for her ring via an ACH payment. I am attaching a screen shot from the Worthy platform that shows that she accepted the offer presented less the fees. Since she received the payment, she would need to reimburse Worthy first, then once processed, we can send her ring to her.
We know from our systems that protocol was followed and *** did click the accept the offer online. The timeline is as follows:12/Worthy platform presented the offer, *** accepted the offer.12/Worthy ACH her payment of $1,684.80 direct to her account on record that she provided to Worthy.12/*** issued a complaint to Revdex.com to return the ring.12/*** Worthy Account Executed tried to call and email client and number was out of service. *** not responding to email and phone outreach by Worthy to discuss12/*** Worthy responded to Revdex.com complaint12/*** Client did not find response satisfactory12/*** Worthy responds. Worthy is disconcerting that ***, once she received the payment, went direct to Revdex.com vs calling Worthy back to say she made a mistake and did not want to accept the offer. Instead, she accepted the offer, and the payment and is not accepting any of Worthy’s calls. Worthy would like to be able to have a conversation with *** to discuss further. Can the Revdex.com help facilitate the reimbursement as she is not accepting our calls or messages. Thank you.

In the beginning I was extremely skeptical about trusting an unknown with something of value but from day 1 Worthy and everyone associated with the company did everything in a cool calm manner to alleviate -any- fears I might of had the sale of my ring was prompt and exceeded my expectations making me very happy. Thank you Worthy and especially Melissa for all your help

Excellent staff and very accommodating will do business again highly recommended

Anne, Thank you for sharing your experience. The Worthy Team

Everything seemed so smooth to get my ring there, overnight theres a lot of communication. Then hearing nothing, I would contact Noah and sometimes reach him. I didn't like their offer which took forever to hear from and asked for my ring to return... then that took forever to come back. Overnight for them to get it but more then 2 day shipping back. Also my diamond now looks cloud, not the same at all. Even the imperfection I had is not there. I stupidly let them unmount the diamond to clean becauseNoah said it would increase the price. Now my ring doesn't look the same, really cloudy. This company seems like a scam!

Customer Response • Nov 26, 2018

I'm sorry I just didn't want my full name published, my name is *** Becker.

Worthy.com Response • Dec 13, 2018

I want to reassure you that Worthy is a reputable company. Roy A, the Chief Gemologist, a former Tiffany VP Diamonds, runs the Worthy lab and Worthy maintains the highest standards of honesty and transparency. ***'s rings arrived, pictured attached, and upon review of the ring, Worthy did not unmount the center stone. While our associate Noah did strongly suggest during the process to get unmounting approval, Worthy did not proceed with an unmount. The ring remained intact and Roy A has confirmed that this ring was never unmounted. When reviewed upon arrival, the estimate for the resell was below our minimum for auction, *** requested for her rings to be returned. Worthy processed the return package on 11//2018. Roy A is available to speak with *** and we can schedule a call for her to speak with Roy at her convenience. Thank you.

I spoke to the associates at Worthy on 11/*** before sending my ring in or making a decision to sell. Saira A was my original associate. Saira stated that the process takes two weeks total and that if I was unhappy with the final sale price, that I could reject the offer and my ring would be sent back to me at no cost.
Once the ring was in Worthy's possession, I was transferred to Melissa M who wasn't in much contact with me and would not respond to my emails regarding questions I had about the auction. I sent an email once they gave me the "best" selling price and asked if I could reject this offer (again) if the ring didn't auction for more than the price they gave me. No response from Worthy. I continued to received "ACTION REQUIRED" emails to set up my auction so I agreed, only thinking that I could reject this offer if it didn't look right. The auction lasted 30 hours and the final price was that they sent originally and I wanted to reject. I sent another email stating that I was not happy with this sale price and would like my ring returned to me. I received a call on Saturday 11/*** telling me that I could not reject the offer and that the money was already sent to me via PayPal. I do not recall giving them my PayPal information, however they should be ale to process it using my email address. I received the email on 11/*** that the money was being advanced to me and I have still not received it or any kind of notification that it's pending on 11/.
At the beginning of this process, I felt that I was in control and by the end, I feel that I am being scammed.

Worthy.com Response • Dec 10, 2018
