I had my bridal set put up for auction with Worthy. On Feb , I was sent an email that informed me that they were extending my auction so they could receive more bids as my minimum had not been met. I then later that day received another email that the auction had ended. I had to approve the highest bid as it did not meet the minimum. I did not approve and was given the option to set a new price and extend on Feb ***. I was told via email that I would be notified within the next business day. The next business day I had an offer and did not approve it. On the same day February , 2019 at 5:09pm, I received a confirmation email that they received my request to ship your ring back. A customer service representative was supposed to contact me. Not sure why since they didn't need my confirmation for anything when they sent me a label to send my ring in. Needless to say, I never received a call and my calls to them went unreturned. On February ***, I received another email stating that my ring had been sold at $450. This was 7 days after I had already said I wanted my ring returned. Emails have then gone back and forth for over a month stating that they had to give the buyer my ring as he met the offer. That issue is that I requested that my ring be sent back to me and tried to contact customer support and couldn't get them to send my ring back. How do you sell a ring that you know a customer wanted back and I have the emails to verify. I just received the payment on March *** after being told that they couldn't make the deposit ether. The fee was ridiculous for all of this and frankly, I don't want their money and I would never recommend them. I know that my ring wasn't some high quality large diamond, but I wanted it back and I got paid a measly $351 for a ring that the local jeweler said he would pay at least double that. Shady things happen when a customer asks that you return their property and then you go ahead an sell it anyways. I retained legal counsel and they cannot even get a call back. I want back my ring, they can have back their crappy payment and hopefully stop doing this to people as they seem to have quite a few complaints. I really should have reviewed them better before sending off anything to them!

At first I was reluctant to sell my diamond ring. But after reading the reviews for Worthy, I decided to consider it.
From the very beginning, Brittany & Josh were responsive, reassuring & knowledgeable.
The process was exactly the same as promised. Josh was super communicative every step of the way.
I don't think that I've ever had a transaction go so smoothly. Besides emails, there were texts & phone calls to let me know the status of my auction.
My reserve was met even though it was a little higher than suggested.
The whole experience was a pleasure and transpired without a glitch. Josh was professional, polite and friendly. I would highly recommend Worthy to anyone seeking to get a respectable price for their diamond jewelry.

I didn't know what to expect, but everyone I spoke with was polite and clear about the process. Melissa was very good and she helped with the auction process all the way through. Although I did not choose to sell at the offered prices, it was a good experience.

This was my first time selling jewelry with an auction based company. Frankly, I was skeptical and unsure that Worthy was a good choice for me. Gail was terrific. She made sure I understood everything related to the sale and assured me that if anything was not to my liking all jewelry would be returned, no questions asked. Gail instilled complete confidence in Worthy's procedure. Even though it took me a few days to decide to sell the jewlery after the bids were in, there was no pressure to accept the final offer. I highly recommend Worthy and would use them again.

Deal was not initially reached, but I was able to send out a final offer thereafter which per the emails I received went to anyone that had previously bid on the ring. Thanks to Josh for the additional effort he put in to get me within $100 of my reserve price.
Communication was very good throughout the process...someone was always available to discuss details by phone during business hours, and emails and texts kept me updated along the way.
A small snafu with payment in that I received a physical check instead of the ACH payment I requested...but it came promptly...4 business days after sale was completed.
All in all...an excellent experience.

Nice cooperative keep you informed

Gail is very helpful. She answered questions and got it set up with no problem. Very thorough. :)

The people at *** were all very helpful and supportive.
I was concerned about unmounting the diamond from the ring.
This was needed to get an accurate measurement.
The entire ring, with mounting and side diamonds, was sold promptly.
I have already received the first installment based upon the price guaranty.
The final payment is on its way, as the winning bid exceeded the guaranty.
Josh, Evan and others were all very courteous and answered all my questions.
It was fun to watch the bidding. I was satisfied with the result.
It was in line with what I expected after talking with a local jeweler I trust.

My engagement ring was stolen and then sold online via the online retailer ***. Upon being contacted my law enforcement agencies, *** claimed that the ring had been destroyed. I would like to recover my stolen property or be compensated for their improper practice of not verifying ownership before selling secondhand merchandise.

Worthy is a resell auction platform. As such, Worthy complies with all laws regarding second-hand merchandise, which includes listing all items on LeadsOnline(ticket number ***) as part of our process. In addition per Department Consumer Affairs NYC Code Section 20-268(d): 14, for Secondhand items, which includes jewelry, states, jewelry items cannot be sold within 15 days of purchase.
Per NYC Code 20-268(d), Worthy complied within this holding date timeline, as the item was submitted on 5//2018, payment was issued on 6/*/2018 and the item was released to the buyer on 8//18, well beyond the 15 days of the Code holding requirement.
Worthy adhered to the stated NYC Code guidelines and as with all the sales we process, we require the seller to provide their id(drivers license) to receive payment. Having diligently followed these steps, as outlined by the Dept Consumer Affairs guidelines, the Montgomery County, MD Law Enforcement agent, Judy H was able to identify the suspects name, ***, via her state drivers license and proceed with their case.
Judy H, Investigator, Montgomery County, MD, reached out to Worthy on September ***, 2018; as such, Worthy fully cooperated with their investigation and provided the evidence we had to the authorities to help with their prosecution.
While we understand how she must feel, Worthy followed procedure and properly followed all the guidelines as set by the Department of Consumer Affairs for Secondhand items.

Had a great experience with Worthy and Vik in particular for selling my diamond ring. They were responsive, honest, and definitely worked to help me make the best of the sale. In addition, I found their commission fee to be extremely fair. I heartily recommend them.

The process was simple, easy and rather fast!
I was delighted to get very close to my desired selling price. Neil was my first impression with the company, and his communication and responsiveness were excellent. Josh handled the sale and provided caring, customized service throughout. He took a personal interest in my reason for selling my diamond, and negotiated my price aggressively.
My diamond had sat in a safe deposit box for the last 15 years or so, and I decided to dust it off and send it to Worthy as part of a larger effort to 'sell everything' and move abroad. I now live in Greece, with plans to teach English as a foreign language and provide volunteer support to asylum seekers.
