Review: Contacted and joined American Standard on 2/21/15 under false pretences - rep mislead the services provided by American Standard. Never did she inform me that I had to write letters to owners - she did, however, inform me that some of the properties had lock boxes and that I could gain entry as soon as I located a property. I informed her that I did not have $199 to give away and that I had a short amount of time to secure residency. She said no problem once I gain access to the site. The same day, I selected and visited 8 properties and did this again with 6 additional properties the following day. Contacted the office on 2/23 to inquire on next steps - at which time they advised me to mail letters and that I could use there return address if I chose to. They further advised that it would be better to have atleast 20 letters out to better my chances due to my tight timeframe. So I did, I selected 10 more properties (3 of which were vacant land with no homes despite the fact that the posting showed square feet, bedrooms and bathrooms). Now with a bad taste in my mouth, I began to request updates from American staandard who did not have any. I requested a cancellation mid March and they advised that I had to wait 90 days. So I did without hearing anything from them. Contacted them in May, was advised that I was eligible for a refund. Did what the rep advised - no reply. Did it again a couple of weeks later - no reply. Did it again 6/16/15 following with a call - a Customer Service Manager, Nancy called me from ###-###-#### ex 11 who was rude, acquisitional and told me that I had to have 5 denial letters. All I want is my money back - had I been told about these letters in May, I have done that - further, I would have had the original letters come to my home to begin with. My total calls to American Standard in a 3 month period were numerous and my direction followed their instruction.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of my $199 without my having to obtain 5 denial letters as this was never provided to me in any of the calls made prior to today. There notes of my prior calls clearly reflects my intention and efforts to comply with their process.

Review: I got the service looking for a home in oct.2014 and I was told at anytime I could get a refund of the services wasn't working for me and I have sent out over 100 requests and I haven't received any information on nothing I have already moved into my new home 2 months ago without their help just want my 199.00 back for no helpDesired Settlement: My refund that is all

Review: Two people in the past week have come to my house, looking in windows. when I ask what they are doing they have both told me they were sent by american standard, being told our home in in foreclosure (which it's not). today I received a hand addressed letter with the name [redacted] on the envelope in the return address spot with no return address.Desired Settlement: take our name off of their list.

Review: I was looking on craigslist for homes in Charleston WV there was a ad with pictures of a home that said take over pmts. Had a number 877-395-1296 When I called they said they were a company that lets you take over foreclosures. Said the website had pictures and contact numbers of homes available in the area I was looking to move. I paid 199.00 they sent me a webpage and it was nothing of the sort. pdf's of letters to contact homeowners about buying their loans. I immediately called them back to get a refund and they told me it'd take 90 days. I said no I'd like my order cancelled and a refund now. They repeatedly hung up on me and told me too bad and I'd have to wait 90 days. It hadn't been an hour since the transaction. I tried to call my card to dispute it and he wasn't able to because it was still pending. They shouldn't be allowed to do this to people and they put me on hold 25 minutes saying I was the first caller in-line.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and they shouldn't be allowed to do this to people that don't want their service especially since it's not as explained.

Review: I send letter said I send 200 hundred dollars to American Standard Online.com. Nov 21, 2014 and 200 hundred dollars I do not hear from is place I get ripped off. I no heard from these people. On SSI, SSD I cannot work I need my money back is people I online. Big money said can get you home $200 hundred dollar but is not home big ripped off. People need be stop. Review: I spoke with William for at least 30 mins on several different occasions in the course of two days. I asked a lot of questions to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. He explained the process and kept urging me to buy the program. Long story short, I got a whole new set of rules once I bought the program. I was very nice and patient when I called back to ask questions but yet again, the representative was very rude and a smart alick. I asked if there could be an exception to the 90-day waiting period before getting a refund because,"I bought a program and was informed of what would take place, but the situation completely changed after they charged my card." I was transferred to a supervisor and he was equally rude and unhelpful. Theordore and William are the names of two people who I can remember.Desired Settlement: Full refund without having to use a service I was not explained correctly. Exception to 90-day wait rule, and 5 letter rule.
