As a reminder, the property pages that appear on Trulia and Zillow are not managed directly by our respective companiesWhen an active listing is taken down, the user-provided photos and home descriptions may still appear on our sites in accordance with the Terms of Use: http://www.trulia.com/terms/ and http://www.zillow.com/corp/Terms.htmHowever, these images can be removed if requested by the homeownerAlthough Trulia has been acquired by the Zillow Group, the Zillow and Trulia brands currently operate separately from one anotherWe have contacted the Consumer Care Team at Trulia on behalf of this individualThe photos of the home in question have been removed If this individual has any other concerns regarding the property page that appears on Trulia, we encourage them to reach out to Trulia directly through their Help Center: https://support.trulia.com/hc/en-usIf this individual has any concerns regarding the property page that appears on Zillow, the Zillow Consumer Care Team can be reached through our Help Center here: http://www.zillow.com/help/

I have months to sell my homeI updated my information on Zillow for my house and submitted it to be posted for sale by ownerI got a message saying it would post within hoursIt has been over a week now and it still has not postedI need my house posted asap because I have to move in less than monthsWhat is the hold up? I tried emailing and calling but there customer service is really non-existentThey have it set up to act like the have a customer service department, but they never email back and no one answers the phone and they say to leave a message but the voicemail is always fullThis is a joke of a company

Zillow's rental estimation so called "Rent Zestimate" wrongly puts our home's rental price significantly lowIt put all my neighbors those are not on market rent estimate 2.3k-2.5k but put my house currently on market only $ When you scroll down the webpage about "Homes like this rent for $2895" and put the rent price range from $2500-$If it is true, why my house was out of range? Why Zillow single out my house with significant lower price? Zillow also has wrong information on our house that we cannot change, for an example, our house is a single family, Zillow put it as apartment Zillow's bad information and ill fated Zestimate drives many many potential customers to rent our house

I canceled my services for the Zillow Group Premier agent program and they still pulled money out of my accountThey are now trying to refund a portion of the money instead of the full amountI was told that the full amount would be refunded

To Whom It May Concern:There are several records showing Peter C [redacted] attempting to get into contact with ***Additionally, [redacted] agreed to our terms and conditions when he signed up for advertisingI've included a link to those belowBecause he agreed to these terms, we will not be issuing a refund.http://www.zillow.com/corp/SATerms.htm

We have our home for sale, and as zillow is a commonly utilized site for consumers, people in search of homes we have a large concern that the "zestimate" is well-below actual and is hurting our ability for home saleAdditionally, the zestimate has bounced up and down now reflecting a 50K drop in value since listingOur agent has contacted zillow and we have an actual bank appraisal for our property reflecting a much higher valueThe change was made although rescinded hours later which now appears our property has dropped significantly in the last daysThis cannot be helping our need to sell our home for relocation

Zillow posts information on real estate for sale in my stateThey do not update their information in a timely manner to reflect changes to the local MLS listingsI sent a complaint via email and never got a responseThere is no way to reach a customer service representative directlyThey have a powerful market presence and therefore a responsibility to keep their postings current so that the people paying for the MLS get their information out to the public accurately to avoid misrepresentations in the real estate market

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Zillow's response claims that it received a sale's price change from the the brokerage feeThis is not a true statementI have checked with the brokerage company. Also when we attempted to quickly notify Zillow of their error they did not respond as noted in my original complaintMy realtor was the one who had to fix the problem on Zillow's site It seems my only recourse now is to obtain legal counsel[redacted]

We have a number of checks in place to proactively identify known fraud tactics and suspicious patterns of activityThis review passed our technical checks, which is why it was posted on ZillowOur review guidelines can be found here: http://www.zillow.com/wikipages/Review-Guidelines/Ultimately, it is not our goal to determine “false” information In addition to measures around fraud, we also facilitate “usefulness” and “appropriateness” of the reviewThis is ultimately what is considered when the moderation process happensWe aim to provide a platform to present both sides of the story (consumer’s review and agent’s response) We encourage this agent to respond to the review as it is regarded highly by those reading itEvery review is held to the same standard, so we do not look at theagent’s status of advertising when moderating reviewsFor this reason, no changes will be made regarding the review in question

We have previously been in correspondence with this individual regarding this issue already and our response remains the sameTo recap, the property page for this home shows as "off market" which means the home is not listed for rent or for sale on our siteIt does not appear in any For Sale/For Rent search results on our site Zillow displays property data to provide consumers with transparent real estate informationOur mission is to empower consumers with information and tools to make smart decisions about homes, real estate, and mortgagesWe receive this information from public records and from user-provided submissionsProperty data appears on Zillow regardless of if a home is actively listed for sale or not We provide homeowners with tools to edit a number of facts that appear on their property pageBy editing the home facts directly, a homeowner can ensure the home information is as up-to-date and accurate as possibleHowever, for the reasons we described above, Zillow does not remove entire property pages or public record information from our site

In reviewing our records, we have already previously communicated with this individual regarding this requestThere is no further action we can take at this timeTo recap, the Zestimate is an estimate produced by a computer-generated algorithm using public and user-submitted data available for each individual homePlease keep in mind that the Zestimate is not a fixed value and is not an appraisalIt is both common and anticipated that the Zestimate for a home will fluctuate which is why we also provide a Zestimate Range on each property pageThe Zestimate Range is the high and low estimate calculated by the Zestimate algorithmThe more information, the smaller the range, and the more accurate the Zestimate tends to beIt may also fluctuate when any new information is made available or if there are updates to the Zestimate algorithm model.Recently, we launched an update to the Zestimate algorithmAs a result, some Zestimates increased immediately, while some decreasedThe change you are describing is due to the Zestimate algorithm being updatedWhen major improvements to the algorithm are made, it does re-compute the historical Zestimates for affected homesOur purpose in doing so is to provide consumers with the best estimate of historical property valuationsIn this case, the previous Zestimate for this home was calculated by the previous modelWhen the model was updated, the Zestimate was recalculated along with all previous historical Zestimates for the home by the newly applied model.A historical Zestimate (shown in the graph) is not like a historical stock price, which doesn't change after being recordedA stock price is a record of an actual empirical event and doesn't changeA Zestimate, on the other hand, is an estimate based off the data available and can change when we have a better algorithm to estimate that valuePeople ultimately have more fundamental reasons that drive what they choose to buy or not buyOur data shows that half of all sales are generally above the Zestimate Zillow encourages buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent; getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser; visiting the house (when possible)While we monitor customer feedback for system-wide issues with the algorithm, we cannot change or remove individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackThis feedback has already been recorded and it will be used to help improve the Zestimate algorithm as a whole in the futureTo learn more about the Zestimate, please visit this link: http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/

I am receiving phone calls on my personal cell phone by persons asking if my property is still for sale I respond by telling them my house is not for sale When I ask these individuals where they got this information and my personal cell phone number, they tell me they found the information on Zillow.com I checked their website and did find my house among the listings I did have my house available for sale years ago with a local realtor; however, I decided to keep my property and had it removed from being listed, or so I thought I contacted the realtor and asked him why these online listings were never removed He informed me that he was not responsible for posting my house or the photos of my house on their website He told me to contact Zillow.com directly to have it removed I wrote their customer service an email explaining my issue with their listing of my property on their website and that I am being contacted by persons interested I asked them to remove the listi

We display property information on Zillow to provide consumers with transparent real estate informationWe receive this information from public records gathered by a third-party data collector from each countyThe data posted on our site is regarding properties, not an individualOur mission is to empower consumers with information and tools to make smart decisions about homes, real estate, and mortgagesFor this reason, we do not remove property pages or public record property information from ZillowWe provide homeowners with the opportunity to edit a number of facts that appear on their property pageBy editing the home facts directly, they can ensure your home information is as up-to-date and accurate as possible but we do not remove entire pages from our databaseThe property page containing public record data will remain on ZillowFor more information, please refer to our Terms of Use (http://www.zillow.com/corp/Terms.htm) and Privacy Policy (http://www.zillow.com/corp/Privacy.htm)

I tried to leave a less-than-stellar review about a real estate agent There was no way to leave a bad review because the so-called moderator kept blocking me by coming up with excuses....I would try to leave a review and then the moderator would say that what I said and the numbers didn't match and it just went on and on so I gave up...apparently this review service is paid for by realtors (I'm not sure of that - only speculating)...it is my opinion that this rating service by Zillow is a sham

The Zestimate is an estimate calculated using a computer-generated algorithm using the data available for each homeThe algorithm uses public and user-submitted data, taking into account items such as home facts (beds, baths, sq ft), sale history, and tax history Most upgrade information is not in the public records and is not easily quantifiableWe do not know about home updates and remodels unless they have been reported to the local tax assessor, so these items are not used in Zestimate calculationsWhile we do utilize user-submitted data that is measurable (e.gadditional bedroom count, bath count, and square footage), there is no way for us to systematically gather and verify the type of remodel or upgrade information where the value is based upon how the final product appeals to the buyerBecause of this, the algorithm can't use that information Although Zillow strives to provide accurate home valuations, the Zestimate value is meant only to serve as a starting point in determining a home's valueThe Zestimate is not intended to replace a comparative market analysis or an appraisal, as they can take into account market intricacies that the Zestimate cannotZillow makes this clear on each property page (screenshot attached) and our website ( [redacted] ) We do not manually edit or remove individual Zestimates Zillow encourages buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent; getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser; visiting the house (when possible) We understand that some homes may be unique in ways that are not well captured by existing data and our current Zestimate modelTo provide more information on a home, we encourage homeowners to include their estimated value by providing an owner's estimate in the Zestimate Details section of the property pageThis provides the opportunity to explain what they feel the home is worth given its unique features While we monitor customer feedback for system wide issues with the algorithm, we cannot change or remove individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackReports of possible issues with Zestimates are recorded to help with efforts to improve the Zestimate algorithm as a whole in the future For more information on the Zestimate, we encourage all of our users to visit this link: [redacted] We can not manually change or remove individual Zestimates We can not manually change or remove individual Zestimates We can not manually change or remove individual Zestimates We can not manually change or remove individual Zestimates

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I AM using a YouTube video--and I added the link to the YouTube video a few days ago--but if you'll look at the attachment I added to my response (a screenshot of my Zillow profile from April), their site states that my listing is "incomplete" because it's missing a videoPlease see attachment for yourselves Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They're most likely showing my information now that I complained, I can't confirm right now because I'm away from my officeHowever what I can confirm is that right below my listing was a blue catchy button that said "call agent" and that was not my number, I pressed the button and it connected me to Zillow customer service department to try to find me one of their agents, not me, I'm the actual agent for this listing, not Zillow! Very misleading Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I have tried to stop payment with this company but they continue to charge my credit cardThey explained they would be providing certain services and they failed toThen they continue to charge me after I asked them to stop charging meThey did not provide the services they promised as part of our agreementNow they are saying I have to stay with them until SeptemberWhen I originally spoke to the sales consultant he never said there was a contractI have also contacted my credit card company in April to protect myself

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Zillow is clearly misrepresenting it's products and servicesThe sales reps verbally promised something that was not deliveredIt's easy to tell someone to continue to give it more time when they are collecting the money and not delivering any leads to their customersThe rep absolutely stated that there would be a number of leads each monthThere was one lead in 1/monthsThat was not what I signed up forI specifically asked for expectations and was told that with the amount I was paying I would absolutely receive several leads per monthSome agents receive dozens while others only receive a handfulI didn't receive either and am skeptical that they ever even served the impressionsSincerely, [redacted]
