Worst customer service of my lifeBooked an appointment online and received a call day of appointment to rescheduleAppointment was rescheduled and on day of 2ND appointment received a call to rescheduleAppointment was rescheduled a 3RD time and a half-hour before the two hour arrival window appointment was canceled Each time I asked to speak to a Sales Manager but none available Even the rep on the phone was mortified I will not call again

On Wednesday March 16th, 2016, I had an appointment with a representative from Empire Today scheduled from 7pm-9pmMy neighbor told me he came over around 3pm which I found to be oddAt any rate he called me and came over some time after 8pmFirst thing he asked when I opened the door was to use my restroomI felt slightly uneasy since he had to pass a Del Taco, Taco Bell and Subway to get to my house from one direction from the North was Carl's Jr and from the east was Burger KingAt any rate, I was in the middle of cleaning my houseI had just finished cleaning the restroom and only needed to mopOnce he got out of the restroom he said, "I cleaned up after myself." I thought the comment was strange but I said, "ok." Well, he left around 9:45pm and I drove off to Home Depot before they closed at 10pmWhen I returned home I did not go back into that restroomThe next day I went in there to mop and my personal items were on the counterMy toothpaste was out and a paper towelI was totally flabbergastedI called the next day to make a complaint and I was told that I would be compensated for my tooth paste and toothbrushes and the man's manger would be made aware of the situationI don't want anyone to be fired but I want them to know that it is never ok to go into someone's cabinetAs of today I have yet to be compensated

I had been skeptical of the "too good to be true" idea but after having two friends recommend Empire, we decided to give them a try We did visit various rug sales showrooms, home improvement stores and the companybwe bouhht our first carpets from Then we met the Empire sales rep..she brought various quality level samples, explained differenced, priced each out It was easy, no pressure sales visitInstaller were on time, accurate, neat and cleaned up everything when doneWill definitely be using them again next year for remainder of house!

I am really please with the work they did! The sales person was really open with us about why some of our original choices may not fit us based on things we shared with herHer suggestions were actually less expensiveThe installers were on time and awesome! They explained everything and even cleaned my base boards and vacuumed before they leftOur vinyl flooring also looks awesome! I read some really bad reviews but a friend whom I trust recommended them and I'm so happy I listened to her!!! They finished in the timeframe that was given!

The worst complete experience that I have ever had with any company in my life First they send a salesman who leaves then when I leave the house, he returns and pressures my wife into buying Then they send a crew of people who do not speak English to install the floor and when I told them that they were not putting enough staples in the floor, they brushed me off I called to complain and was told that these were professional and that if there was a problem it would be fixed Now the floor is lifting and I have had no call, no shows for someone to look at the problem I will do everything in my power to get the word out the Empire is not to be dealt with

On final purchase order, information I needed was not provided till after signing Was told credit was accepted, but they did not tell me it was different than the one I signed the papers for, it resulted in a call, which I was told contract signed, nothing can be done, I contacted Credit Company they had put me with and after some consultation, they agreed to work w/me so I could afford to pay for purchase

I have not had a good experience with Empire Flooring Originally received a quote to carpet bedrooms and a great room Advised them I would be pricing shopping for comparison Received a call from "corporate" with a considerably lower quote I agreed at that rate and when they sent the salesmen back out to my house would not honor the new quote I called multiple times over the next weeks to rectify and was always told someone would call me back the next day and never received a call back Ultimately got someone to assist me and settled on another quote (in between the already given to me) They arrive at my house to install the carpet with a lower grade carpet and not what I ordered

I had them install a laminate floor in my living room after negotiating a fair priceInstallation was fast and detailedI'm happy

The entire experience with Empire was excellent The sale rep was there on time with samples to choose from, He was respectful of the fact I told him I was not making a decision that day and was getting more estimates and did not push to have me place the order that day When I chose Empire, he returned the next day and finalized the sale and set up the date of installation I chose, The installers were on time, friendly and knowledgeable After the carpet was installed, they swept the foyer and vacuumed the carpet and removed all excess pieces There was a nice size remnant that they rolled and taped and took to the garage Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would recommend, The carpeting is of very high quality - the one I replaced was also from Empire and was purchased about years ago, The carpeting AND padding remained in excellent condition, even after steam cleaning practically every week, The only reason it was replaced was because of pet damage

I would highly recommend hiring empire for all your flooring needs They installed laminate flooring for me in 6hrs I went from a smelly carpet to a beautiful floor the very next day from making the decision to have it done You can actually talk to people if you have any problems and you have your own representative to contact if you have any concerns They may have been a little higher than most but you get what you pay for Plus I have years in which to pay for it at only 10% interest

We should have done my research on Empire Today and looked at the reviews on the Revdex.com but I expected quality from a nationwide company Boy were we wrong! We ordered $worth of flooring from Empire and got two scheduled appointments because we were having vinyl flooring and carpet being put down We had a call the day before the appointment confirming they would be coming outThe morning of the appointment they called me and gave me a block of time from pm – pm and said the installer would contact me min before installationpm rolled around and I got a call from the office letting me know that the installer was behind schedule and would be to my home between pm – pmI had no issues with this as I understand things happen 5:pm I get a call from the installer letting me know that he would be out in hourHe arrived and we walked the area that he would be installing vinyl and his broken English was very pronounced but I understood when he complained that “This is going to be a lot of work” It was very obvious that he did not want to do the job and started making excuses of why the job was going to cost me more than we agreed on with the sales person His first attempt was telling me that the old vinyl would all need to be pulled up, I explained that was included in the sales contractNext he told me there was glue under the old vinyl and if he pulled it up it would damage the floorThen he explained that there were staples that could have rusted and he could not explain what that meant to the job but felt important to point it out, again this was decided without him even inspecting the floor, possibly he is psychic? I asked him to leave my home and inspected the flooring myselfThere is no glue holding down any of my vinyl and the staples must have disappeared as they are nonexistent too I called the Empire number 800-588-and talked to a supervisor who apologized for the inconvenience and assured me this is not and a bad representation of their businessHe talked me into giving them another chanceHe credited me $and we rescheduled another crew to come out the next week I asked the supervisor to check my order for the carpet which was scheduled the next dayI told him that I wanted to have no confusion on the scope of work and would not accept any issues again for the carpet installThe supervisor put me on hold and he verified my “Template” and assured me that there was no issues with my installers coming on the next day and “Everything will be perfect” because he is putting in the notes the issues I had with the psychic vinyl installer My wife and I got up very early to pull sections of the carpet up so we could seal the floor before the installers got to our home and disassembled our house so everything was readyWELL lo and behold we get a call at am explaining that they could not come out today and would need to reschedule our carpet installation after my rescheduled vinyl appointment next week I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was put on the phone with Mindy the dispatch supervisor and she explained that the carpet installer Chancho, who was the psychic vinyl installer, was scheduled to install my carpet today but he could not come to my home because of the issues I had at my home the previous day I explained my issue with having a disassembled house to which I got a very condescending “I am sorry, I don’t have anyone who can come out, and there is nothing I can do” This is the final straw and I need someone to contact me immediately to refund me my deposit

Worst customer service everBasically, they never follow up on promises made regarding installationI am prepared to file a formal complaint with the [redacted]

This company had me submit a $check to hold pricesI did but then I changed my mindThey sent me a refund check made out to me and my insurance companyMy insurance company did not submit the check and would not sign it over to me because they had no knowledge of itI have contacted a total of times to get this resolved yet I still have not received a refund check made out to myselfThis is beyond ridiclousIt needs to be rectifiedIt is sad because they have gotten a lot of business from me in the past but they keep screwing me aroundIt is unacceptable

I would recommend Empire Flooring to anyone Saw salesman on Friday and floor was installed on Tuesday Totally amazing!!! Men were great and everything went off without a hitch Great company and great products!

Checking prices on laminate and hardwood flooring, I decided to go with Empire Today figuring the process would be a one-stop shopThe salesman explained the difference in the two types of flooring, warranties, etcI decided on a simple laminate for my dining areaThe price was 25% less than another company's rock bottom offerInstallation was easy-the installers were professional and addressed all questions and concernsFor laminate sales and installation, I'd recommend Empire Today

The salesman was very knowledgeable, provided samples for my review and the installers were exceptional! I love my new floor

Empire is the best It's the only place I will go to for flooring in my homeFrom the sales people to the installers they are both knowledgeable and friendly Their products are outstanding and I love the fact that they bring the samples to our home

Contact Empire and they had a sales rep out the next day (Saturday)He arrived on time, was polite, took measurements, selected the laminate floor, and received a price quote within two hoursReceived a call the following Monday from Empire asking if I wanted to go ahead and have a financing representative drop by to finalize and schedule installationWhen he came, I began to get that uneasy feeling when he said he needed to take measurements, and then I could pick out the flooringWait! I just spent two hours on Saturday doing this partWhen I voiced concern, he told me there would not be any more hiccups, and even discounted the final price a bitFeeling a bit betterHe advised that installation would begin on Thursday and last through SaturdayI let him know I had a medical appointment Friday afternoon that could not be rescheduled, and the installation crew would need to accommodateHe let me know it was not an issue, and to tell the lead on the installation crew when they arrivedThursday came, the crew was on-time, and things seemed to be going very wellI let the lead know that Friday I had an appointment and they would need to break off two hours earlyHis response to me was that he comes in from Austin, does not work on Saturday, and would like to stay and work while I was at my appointmentWhat? First, I was told work was Thursday through SaturdaySecond, stay and work in the home without me there? Don’t think soI let him know I would do what I could, but the appointment could not be rescheduledFriday came, and progress on the floor was goodUntil I reminded him of the appointmentOnce I did, he said he needed to get the job finished that day, and needed to stay in the home whilst I was awayI then made it clear that I was not going to allow that, and that they needed to finish on SaturdayTo which he responded again that he comes in from Austin, and needed to finish todayIf not, he would have to come back MondaySo, I told him, Monday it isDuring the weekend I had time to evaluate the work being done, and was beginning to find small things I was not happy aboutBut, I held off until the work was done on Monday came and the work was supposedly completedDuring my walkthrough I found many issuesFirst, they had to cut the front portion of each step to make the squareThey were originally rounded off, which created an issue with laying the laminate flatUnderstandable… However while cutting, the workers tore into my banister with their saw, chewing up the woodWhen I brought it to the leads attention, his response was, “I did my best.” What??? Next, the reduction of the stair size left a hole in the wall between the stair and the moldingThe lead told me he was not responsible for fixing or repairing that because it is part of the original stairsWhat the…? You cut my stairs to accommodate the laminate, leaving a gaping hole!!!! The final straw was finding a two-and-a-half foot scratch deep into the laminate in the master bedroomThe lead said he had no more materials, and would fix after he ordered more at a later dateNeedless to say, I did not sign the final paperworkI then called the main office and the lady who answered said she would contact the installation managerI asked if she could have him call me because I had pictures and wanted to explainTo which she replied, “NoHe will call the crew.” Really??? I’m the one who is having a not-so-good experience hereNot the crewNeedless to say, I have not received a call back from anyoneThe lead seemed to want to appease me, but I’m not happy at allWish I could post Images to show that lousy work

I PURCHASE BEAUTIFULL CARPET FROM EMPIRE TODAYTHERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE INSTALLATION AT ALL GREAT JOB THE PROBLEM CAME IN WHEN THEIR WAS SO MUCH CARPET LEFT OVER I PAID FOR CARPET THAT I CAN AND WILL NOT THE GUY THAT DID THE MEASURING REALLY DID DO A MESS AT MEASURING THE ROOMS NOW SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN CALLING, ON HOLD, AND CALLING WITHOUT ANY RESULTS IT FNNY I DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM GIVING THEM MY MONEY FOR THE CARPET
